I ordered these straps and a Rush 24 backpack at the same time and they are not even remotely the same shade of green. Still perfectly functional straps, but if you're expecting them to be the same just because it's the same color name from the same manufacturer you're going to be disappointed.
I felt like my Rush series pack needed more cinch straps. These are the best answer to that need. And if I want to add on another small pack, then there they are. Makes your main pack totally adaptable.
Oh, you're the best BAG that I ever hadnBeen with you such a long timenYou're my sunshinenAnd I want you to knownThat my feelings are truenI really love you
These are truly a go to and work on so many packs on the market. nFirst quality all the way around...took a long time for them to get here...nRecommended product
These straps let you expand your pack, add on other bags and pouches (and across platforms, you can make gear set work with rush for instance) they are sturdy and secure, two sets to a order offers plenty of options for multiple packs
These straps are excellent quality and color match the Rush bag perfectly. I love the versatility of the Rush Tier System! Although these straps were designed to attach the Rush Moab bag to the Rush bag, I am using two of them to attach a small tent to the bottom of my Rush bag. I used another strap to attach a medium-sized flashlight to the side of my bag. I highly recommend them for any bag that has M.O.L.L.E. capabilities.
Just received my rush tier system in the process of putting together my bug out bag now but it looks like its gonna work great for what I needed to do definitely would recommend it comes in handy thanks again rush
The Rush TIER system is very unique and useful. nGreat design and 5.11 quality. This system can be used to attach smaller packs to larger ones. But, it can be used to add additional compression straps or lashing points to almost any MOLLE designed pack. nnIm using these as both compression and snowshoe attachment straps.... nnGreat to have a set around just in case
I used these to attach my patrol sleeping bag to the under side of my Rush 2.0 backpack it's an excellent accessory to have if you want to take full advantage of what your Rush system can do.
These straps are not only great since I use them to connect my Rush 12 backpack to my Rush 72 whenever I go on long camping adventures but I also use them as bottom compression straps with my Rush 24 (bottom compression straps are the only missing feature to make this THE perfect backpack) which is my EDC backpack.
Used them to attach a MOLLE sleeping carrier system bag. This carrier system was not really made to fit my Triple Aught Design Fastpack EDC backpack. Not too long and not too short, these straps helped attach this sleeping carrier system quite nicely.
It took over a week to ship, then they snail mailed it. Missed them for my trip. Now Im carrying a 24 and a 12 that I bought in store around while traveling. 12 days to ship and deliver to Colorado? I can get packages from Canada faster.. Best part is my apt complex returns packages after 6 days. So now I am trying to get them stopped in return transit.. Pay additional charges. Here is an Idea 5.11, have these in stores? Or expidite shipping if it leaves the factory late to deliver to customer on time... My rush bags are great but I wont order from 5.11 online ever again.
As other reviewers have done, I've used the Tier System as extra compression straps for my Rush 12 and 24 and MOAB 10. I have used them for it's assigned purpose, but I like it much better as compression straps. Now if 5.11 can sell the Tier System in all the colors the packs come in...
I bought the RUSH Tier System to help add an large 3ft round duffle (non 5.11 brand) to my Rush 24 pack for when I need to move large amounts of gear back and forth from camp to the vehicle. I really enjoyed how easy and well thought out these extra strap work. I couldn't ask for a better product.
I didn't get this to combine 2 bags, I bought this to add another strap near the bottom of the bag to make a compact fit.Wished that the flat bottom area would have areas to add this as well but it didn't and it doesn't bug me that much.
I use these to replace the velcro straps on my molle body armor. They make getting my armor on and off much easier and they work perfectly. It's not what they're designed for but it works very well.
I started to use the RUSH TIER SYSTEM to replace a carabiner system to mate a large GO bag to my backpack for helicopter travel at work.I love the simplicity of connecting the quick-release buckles and straps to my bags and their ease of use. I have used the other pair of buckle-receivers on my back pack to house the quick-release end of the strap to keep them out of the way when not in use.As a load bearing piece of equipent, I have not had it long enough to put it through its paces. But I look forward to it's use to help keep my hands free while moving to and from the helicopter.
these straps are pure money. i've had a MOAB 10 for 45 days now and carry it every day for work and play. i just connected these straps to my army ruck and they work awesome. they really work well when you have to carry a lot of bags, ie. when you're deploying or going to the field. these straps free up the need to carry two bags. when you get to where you're going, disconnect the smaller bag when you drop off your ruck and move out.
Attached straps to Rush 24 and used as compression straps further down side of pack and over rhe top of pack. Single comprseeson strap on rush 24 is inadequate on an otherwise outstanding piece of equipment. Held up great moving through South Korea.
Larry D.,
I ordered this and another item but never received my tier system
