Upgraded with an improved 10K waterproof and 10K breathable fabric with DWR, the 3–in–1 Parka 2.0 provides Blood Borne Pathogen resistance*. The six-pocket outer shell features mic loops, camera loop kit, hood that can be rolled into the collar or detached and stored in back pocket, hidden utility pockets and pull out ID panels for easy on duty identification. A 5.11® ReadyPocket™ on both the left and right chest stores your phone, sunglasses or extra magazines. We added a new Quixip® system on the sides for rapid firearm access and enhanced ventilation. The warm and breathable fleece liner, with improved lining, cuffs and added document pockets, doubles as a standalone five–pocket tactical jacket when removed. You’ll be ready for any cold–weather mission with the 3–in–1 Parka 2.0.

Warm, but tight shoulders and arms

I'm a fan of 511 for years. I needed this quickly, and it arrived quickly. Like other reviewers, I found the sleeves to be tight. The fleece liner is the problem. Tight through the lats, shoulders and upper arms, but loose around the belly and waist. I'm 5'8" and 175# and purchased the large based on reviews. I replaced the fleece with a thin puff jacket with the same YKK zipper and it fit well. There are plenty of large accessible pockets. There are quick release tabs on both sides for quick holster access. Radio and camera tabs are well thought out/functional.

Sorry guys. I really like 511 as a rule but I just wore this parka for it's first patrol shift. It was 28 degrees and misting. I stayed dry and warm. Great job there. The trouble I had is that the sleeves are really tight as soon as I put anything but a t-shirt under it. I'm not a big guy (5'8" - 165#) and the sleeves just pinch around all of the moving points - elbows, armpits, shoulders. I'm a bit surprised that I didn't see more reviews mentioning this. Did I just get an unusual fit? Also noticed the liner pilling after exactly one shift and zero washes - wondering how that will go. Regards. . . .

My 3rd 3 in 1 Jacket

This is my 3rd 5. 11 3 in 1 Jacket in the past 20 or so years. My last jacket was purchased in 2016, and the zipper failed - so I just ordered a replacement. Great warmth, dryness and durability. Show me another winter jacket put together better, and Ill buy it.

Title sums it up I'd say, the Jacket is nice. We have a 3 in 1 parka for work so I wanted one for myself since the old one was so warm and had pleanty of pockets for me. The new jacket is still pretty warm but my old 3 in 1 parka was a medium and that fit great, When I got the 2.0 in a medium it was too small where it felt like it was harder to fully breathe in. I ordered it in a large and while I cant have it zipped all the way up due to the hood it fits better. Unsure about the sizing differences like that but buyers keep that in mind. The Tac Dry on the outer shell I find myself impressed with watching the water beading up and falling off. I run it underwater to see it work and withing 5 minuets of leaving it alone it was bone dry. The old parka would've taken about 15 if I recalled correctly. I like the jacket but disliked the sizing difference.

Really warm winter coat

My ambulance service uses the responder version of this coat on calls. It's so warm I had to get this when I needed a new winter coat. Where I live it can get down to -70 so when I say it's a warm coat, I mean it.

Great Improvements in 2.0

The 2.0 has some features I had wished for on my original. The flaps to cover the zipper connecting the two jackets is one. Another is the heavier hood in the collar. Thank you for making those! My husband is loving his!

I bought a 3-in-1 parka

I bought a 3-in-1 parka several years ago and I really liked it. I decided to get a new one because the fleece had faded on my older inner jacket. When I tried one on the same size it fitted different. I still have my old one. The new jacket is tight across the chest and the arms when you bring them in front of you. It is almost like it is a skinny jacket like how people have skinny jeans. I had to go from a 2X to a 3X and it's still fits tight across the bicep area when you bring your arms in front of you. I did not want to risk getting a 4X as it would be too long on me. Other than that I did not notice much difference except for a few extra openings.

I like all the pockets in this jacket, but I bought it because I thought the inner liner was black according to the pictures posted. However, when it came in the liner is actually black and red. Not a fan, but the jacket is warm.

Zippers Suck

I buy a LOT of 5.11 clothing as most of it is well made and although more expensive, their clothing normally lasts longer so I get better value out of it.This is my 2nd winter parka I have purchased from 5.11 and the 2nd time I have had problems with the zippers. For $250, I expect a zipper that is of above average quality, and the zippers used in this jacket are pure garbage. I bought this parka roughly 2 months ago but have only worn the outer shell maybe 10 times and the zipper no longer works. I can't get it started so I can't zip up the outer shell. I'll continue to buy pants and other products that have proven their value to me over the last 15 years, but I won't buy another winter jacket from 5.11 as they have proven themselves to be inferior to other products. One star, only because you can't select zero stars. Do not buy.
