Great shoe right out of the box. (I normally don't ever wear new hiking shoes on 2 different hikes 5 and 10 mile) but this time I did. I brought my old reliables, just in case.Comfortable. No tired feet. Under different terrain. I really like them.

I had been looking at these boots for a long time and finally decided to pull the trigger and get them. The boots are made well with the exception of the top of the heel. It may be a manufacturing defect but the top of the heel has a piece under the fabric that will rub your heel raw. I have tried to reach out to 5. 11 in reference to this but just keep getting forwarded around to different people. unfortunate especially since I've only had the boots for a little over a week.

I had these boots for less than 6 months and they already have holes where the toe creases are, the upper are starting to split from the sole and the bottom of the soles are already wearing down quite a bit, plus they are very heavy.

I have been wanting to buy these for sometime now, but I like to try on footwear before I buy as my feet are different sizes. I visited a 5. 11 store to check these out but they didn't have any in stock. So after going online and finding out they were on sale, I couldn't resist. Ordered them thinking I'd probably have to return them, but they fit great, look pretty darn good too. Only issue I have is that they are a bit on the heavy side, but I've been wearing nothing but sneakers for years, so I'm sure I will get used to them in no time!

They squeak when I walk. Gets annoying after a while. I bought them months ago for work. I thought they just needed to be broken in. So when Im at work everyone hears me coming. Not sure if I would buy another ones.

Very uncomfortable. Feels like Im walking without any support on the bottom of my feet. The design is awesome but the comfort level is a bust. Should have added better insoles. Cheap 5. 11 soles!nI had a 9. 5 regular

Only complaint are laces. (They could be Paracord = replaced mine with them) Better than mesh/original version due to solid knit. _____ Better than GoreTex version (overpriced and vibram is overrated) ____ overall same issues with regular version @ foam inserts are cut by cmeva orange inserts. And OEM LACES are frayed by uppermost metal grommet. ____ great traction, durable soles. Waterproof (still sprayed with Scotchgard) if goretex version had the same 511 soles an look I'd buy/keep

I purchased these because they were on sale for 65. 00. I wear them for LE, had them about 1 year before the left boot ripped a stitch on the nylon. Then a year later the right boots toe came unglued as well as the side by my right pinky toe. I wear them on a dry day because theyre comfy.

Purchase this boot for law enforcement and after 4 months the toe is starting to rip. These are not worn daily. Very disappointing, because our SWAT team purchased 30 pairs and in due time they will also rip.

Was originally excited for the shoes but once I had them they degraded extremely quickly. Both pairs heals are torn, both have rips in the side of the shoes, they got tears by the seams and are definitely not waterproof now. nThey are my daily shoe for my light work but I barely walk on any rough terrain or use them as Ive seen advertised. I could only imagine youd get 3 months max out of these if used properly. Also only wore 5.11 socks but it doesnt seem to help the shoe. Definitely reconsidering another brand after this experience, I have no name brand shoes that have lasted longer. Can also send photos for proof

Should have paid closer attention to some of the reviews. These boots are killing the back of my foot, likely because of the hard seam at the back. Was expecting a much softer fit, since the sole has a nice cushion. May seek to return these! :-(

This is my second pair of A/T Mid waterproof boots. I say my second because the first pair irritated me heel. Before I was able to break them in the toe ripped which was my fault. I purchased a second pair hoping that 5.11 would have fixed the stitching however it still SUCKS. I can not wear these boots due to the stitching in the heel. I use to wear the Rang Master Pro boots and they were fantastic. I also have multiple pairs of the A/T trainer. I wish 5.11 would fix this issue with the A/T Mid boot and also make a waterproof trainer.

Just pick this up yesterday 5/22/24. Took a 2 mile walk today, I need to break these fast for a Alaska event coimg up in June. Bought a half size larger. So far a great shoe.

The stitching on the inside of the heel grinds against my achilles tendon even with worksite boot socks. It hurts too much to try them again. Seems like Im not the only one with this problem.nnI bought these from the 5.11 Amazon store. Can you guys help me or do I need to go there?

The shoe is light for a water proof shoe and does not feel bulky. However the heel design is poor, the stitching inside the shoe is right where your heal sits and aggressively irritates the back of your heel to the point where I dont know if Id buy these again

I work in the water damage restoration industry and these boots have been working really well for me. I have had them for about a month and half now and have noticed little parts of toe starting to lift up not a big issue for now looks like it's just from breaking them in. Insoles are uncomfortable for me just had to order new third party ones. again not a big deal to me. But just something to note. The rest of the shoe is very comfortable and my feet don't feel hot in Arizona heat.

Ive had these boots less than 6 months and both sides of the toe box are ripped, the sole is peeling off at the heels. If I could post pictures I would. The tread still looks brand new but the body of the boot is far gone. Comfort was great while it lasted but it wasnt long for 165 bucks

It's ok. I can see where it will keep moisture out and bodily fluids. The only complaint I have is they are very warm and don't breathe well. Probably because of them being "water proof." I would have given a higher rating, but with them being so warm I couldn't.

Ive had mine for four months. They have only been in the field once and leak water. The foam between the tread and upper shoe is turning lime green and the tread is shredding. Very discouraging knowing Im going to have to buy boots already.

After 28yrs doing corrections this amazing 511 boot is amazing and ohhhh so comfortable. working 12hr shifts you need that comfort in a boot. The 511 boot did that for me. FOLKS YOU WILL NOT BE DISSIPOINTED WITH THE 511 BOOT.

I Love TFB TVs YouTube. James had these on during SHOT SHOW. They looked cool, he said he liked em. Man did he undersell them. Best fitting most comfortable, best range of motion almost like a sneaker, all-day comfort. I am a foundation inspector. Often in nasty wet basements with various rocks ETC. By far the best value boot I own. Looking forward to wearing them during range days and firearms classes. 10,000 Stars. Thumbs up!

These are more like a CrossOver shoe between a Hiking Boot and a Sports Sneaker. nNow that that's been Said; here are my 3 Outstanding Highlighted points. n1- Construction:nThey are Slick, nMeticulously Built, Strong and with a very Gripping Solen2- ConfortnThey fit like a Glove on my Feet, there isn't any Seams or Stitches that bother me, I mean, they are "Flawless" in confort... the Inside Sole feels they Wrap every Contour of the Feet and they have a Very Sturdy Bridge insole that gives You Constant Arch Support, however if You are a person with Flat Feet and work Standing all day, I would think that it would cause Disconfort and Tireness eventually. ( You should Consider this Greatly ).nand last but Not Leastn3- Price / CostnAt a $165.00 they a Expensive for what you'll get, they are Not a Tactical Boot in any way, they feel more like a Mid-Height hiking Shoes/Sneakers... As a first responder we are always on our feet. This boots are perfect on any occasion, any weather, jumping fences, and even on running, good traction and feels like your wearing running shoes, live the design as well. The only downside is when you first wear it, it will feel a little bit snug and unconfortable. But as soon as its broken in for a couple of days. Everything will feel perfect.

True to size, decent looking, decently comfy. I could wear all day on my feet with no problems. They are definitely waterproof. A tad on the warm side due to the waterproofness. I had to cut the little thingys off the back to keep my pants from hanging up on them but that's true for all my boots. I wasn't sure I would like the mid height but I do! It has a tall toe box, almost like a safety toe but not and looks like they mean business!

Been using these boots for about a month. Liner has already started to rip and the waterproofing isnt holding up. I will say they are warm boots for winter but I doubt they last 2 full winters unfortunately

Love them and they are true to size for me usually wear 10.5 Nike sneakers and a 10.5 boot it what fits me comfortably. Opted for water proof version due to varying work conditions I have. Only complaint is the inside material is a blue and it will rub off onto white socks.
