A nice wicking polo with tall sizes. Great for the Florida heat. Im 64 245. Xlt is perfect. Tall sizes always feel like theyre sold out, Id love to be able to get the other colors. nnI hope 5. 11 stocks their tall sizes better. Id also love to see coyote brown tall size wicking t shirts. No one, and I mean no one makes a tall size xlt coyote brown t shirt for military uniforms. Even better if its wicking. Take all my money.

Love the shirts, have had one for years a mnd just got two more. My only complaint is I have had a black one so I bought "dark navy" and was disappointed that "dark navy" is as dark my slightly faded black shirt. Wish they had a regular Navy color and more color options.

only the large sizes and above are offered in tall. The regular body length is pretty short. had to have extra fabric sewn to the bottom to stay tucked in. this material frays & pills very easily. the shirt collar likes to curl open. the collar is extremely thin & flimsy. my outer carrier rubs against my neck the way it sits. I had to adjust my radio mic cord because of how the collar sits. If this was offered in a tall, more slim size with a more rigid shirt collar, I would go for it. not a huge fan of the blauer armorskin shirts, but I will stick with them for now.

These are my favorite polo shirts. They are light, soft, and wick away moisture quickly. I am a big fan of the pen pockets on the left sleeve and the sunglasses loop on the front. The collar stays down even throughout a very active day. These shirts are well suited for causal or work wear and are durable enough to be worn for multiple days between washes should the need arise. I have many of these shirts and multiple ones of the same colors. These shirts are truly made for the tactical professional.

Perfect work shirt when combined with embroidered logo on chest. They last forever. I still am using shirts issued in 2018 and they look just as good as when issued. My guess is if you are looking at this shirt, you need a good everyday alternative to a Class B formal uniform. Go with this.

When this arrived at my house I wasnt sure I liked it because the fabric is thicker. After waring it I was glad to find out it does not make me too warm. I like the slight tapper in under the arms, too. The length in my opinion is too long to wear untucked, but that does not bother me. Also I appreciate the brand logo is the same color as the shirt and dies not broadcast its self with contrast colors.

I'm 5'11, 190#. 42 chest, 33 waist. Super comfortable. If your chest and waist measurements are a lot closer, it would be a good option. I'm losing 9 inches around when I tuck it in. Way too many folds and doesn't feel right in a professional environment. Leaving it untucked for more casual looks huge. I can't go down a size as I can't get my shoulders in the schmedium. I really try and love this brand, but they make everything typical of most clothing brands, box cut standard physiques. Please make some type of athletic line. Bigger shoulders, tapered. Until then I have to stick with the fitness brands.

I'm generally a fan of 5.11 products, but unless you're a flabby, muffin-topped load, this polo sucks! It is unquestionably the worst fitting shirt I've ever owned.Even when wearing my respective, usual size, the body fits like a circus tent, while the sleeves flop-about due to being excessively long, with an odd, sloppy cut. At lunch today, I went for a 40 minute walk. It is 90 degrees with a dew point of 71. I was cooler than I expected, considering the conditions. When I got back to my truck, my performance polo was dry, though I know I was sweating heavily. As I sit at my desk right now, there is no sweat smell and not a wrinkle to be found. I will be camping all next week, and I will wear my performance polos to stay cool and dry.

This seriously is one great shirt. Haven't seen a wrinkle yet, and I accidentally left it on the floor overnight under a pile of other clothes and boxes. The comfort is also great and there is no doubt that one looks professional wearing this. I recommend the Dark Navy but it really comes down to personal preference.

I'm mostly indoors but spend time outdoors moving around in the heat. Shirt has a reasonable professional look but the mic loops at shoulders are much more conspicuous than the online store photos and shoulder seams are not in the traditional location. The shirt fits fine, but is a little too heavy for me. It's as much as twice the weight of other high quality performance polos. I purchased two colors, and both have a noticeable sheen to them I don't like. It's good quality otherwise, but if I used mics I might find it more useful or recommend it.

I saw someone else had this shirt, it looked really comfortable. They said that they swore by it and wouldn't wear anything else. I ordered three shirts and I am hooked! They don't shrink. They are as smooth as silk. They move well and feel good against your body. The only thing I have a minor gripe with is the sheen on the shirt. The material it is made out of looks a little too casual because of the "shiny polyester golf shirt" look to take in an office environment. It would be fine for personal use or for working where the dress code is more relaxed but if your work requires you to sweat like a pig at 10am and then make a 1pm meeting with company executives this may or may not make the cut. Lighter colors like the white and tan seem to minimize the shiny shirt isssue. It is a great freakin shirt though! I am ordering 3-4 more. Also the material, atleast with me tends to make me "smell" moreso than with a cotton shirt. I have the same issue with my workout shirt made from the same material. It feels great, wicks sweat great but makes you smell after a few hours. Its the price that you pay for comfort in the exteme heat/humidity. The shirt does not retain any odor after washing.

I've been buying the Tactical cotton polo's for years and love them... so this time I decided I'd try the polyester blend... I bought the same size as the cotton and immediately noticed how tight the polyester fit was compared to cotton and by the end of the day I had the funny smell you get from wearing synthetic materials. The shirt is very shiny and very thin... so unless you feel like walking around looking like a [*] with your nipples poking thru your shirt.. I'd recommend sticking with cotton!

I wear these polos to work. Really great fit and they wash perfectly. I will take them with me on a fun trip to Europe when I want to travel light.I have no clue what the tiny little pockets do, but life is full of cool surprises. I have 5 of these shirts. Enough said....I'm saving $1.75 every day I don't sent a cotton polo to the cleaners...I gonna get rich off these shirts!

I was initially very excited when I received these polos. However, when I tried them on I found that the fit was a bit baggy. Comparatively the Performance polo feels too big for the size. My Prof/Tactical polos fit snug and present a clean and professional look. Even with my concealable body armor, the Prof/Tactical polos fit well. They have a length that's not too long but will stay tucked in when needed. The sleeves of the Prof/Tactical polos fit about 2-3" above my elbow when standing normally.The Performance polo feels about 2" too long in the overall length and the sleeves come all the way to my elbow. I'm a comfortable size Large (L) at 5'11" height, 185 lbs, 42" chest, and 34" waist, but the "L" Performance polo fits more like an XL. With my concealable body armor, it fits a bit better, but still is loose enough to feel a bit uncomfortable.I can only wear the white ones with an undershirt; which is ok when I wear body armor since I have to wear an undershirt anyway. I cannot wear them by themselves because they are see-through. Mic Clips on the shoulders and Pen Pocket sheath on the sleeve are visible through the shirt, not to mention my skin.I do like these polos despite their size issue. They look great and feel great. The material is durable and should last a while. I'm debating whether to have them tailored to fit me better or just wait until they wear out and replace them with a Medium (M). I'd recommend ordering a size smaller than normal for these shirts.

I searched for a long time to find this type of shirt!! I watched the video about this shirt and decided to give it a try. Thank you 5.11 for making such a great product. I'm 5'9", and a little under 150lbs, and the small is perfect, and not too tight anywhere, just incase you are muscular. The shirt is also perfect length too. I also ordered the long sleeve version just to try, and it feels excellent as well, if not more comfortable because your arms are shielded for the sun or cold! I'm sold on these shirts and will be using these for work from now on.

I am full time range staff and these are the shirts we use. I originally liked these things, but quickly (only one summer season) learned they sun bleach real bad. My black professional looking shirt turned a rancid rust brown in only a few months. For the money, this is a very poor product. [$] X 5 shirts every 6 months is a little painful.

Working in hot, humid tropical weather, most polos soak up sweat leaving you feeling like you're wearing a wet towel, there are other quick dry t-shirts but they are easily destroyed by velcro fron pants, jackets and bags. This polo wicks moisture away, there are no damp/wet spots and mine have yet to be destroyed by velcro closures!

Disappointing. I had 5 of these shirts issued as uniform items a year ago and they feel great. So; I bought a few for casual wear this year and although the label indicates the same, size, material, and, "Tactical Series" as the uniform shirts they definitely have a different "fit" and "feel". Too tight in the shoulders and underarms as compared to the uniform shirts. Material also feels different, not as smooth. Obviously changed manufacturers. Won't buy any more and will take extreme care of the uniform shirts to avoid replacements of this caliber.

I use this shirt to work on military aircraft as a contractor. As long as I have had the shirt it has shown no wear. I only have one unfortunately so I wear it about once a week on average. No fading of the black color which is suprising. I had it embroidered and that is the only thing that is even looking worn so far.

The Performance Polos are an improvement over the original 5.11 polos. The colors do not fade, they are lighter weight and are more comfortable. I have been wearing them for several months and haven't had any problems with the fabric snagging or pulling They do have a slight sheen to them. Check out my video for more info

My PD introduced this shirt to me by issuing them as an extreme heat option for Admin, CID, and Training Staff. They are now an extreme heat option for Patrol. I like the shirts so much I have ordered non-embroidered versions for off-duty wear with personal purchase. Seem to hold their color, collar stays put, and you can dry them on low for a few minutes and wear (no ironing). Check the sizing chart when ordering.

If these shirts weren't so expensive I'd own 10. The material is tough, doesn't shrink or fade, stretches when you need it to, dries very quickly, all around, no bs, better quality than under armor, black (hawk) or on the other side: I'd rather buy this than a Ralph Lauren. Best polos I've found. Too expensive, but a real winner.

The most useful tips I dont see enough of is the sizing of the clothing items. I usually wear a 2XL in shirts due to the cotton shrinkage. The Synthetic knit does not shrink and I could have gone with a XL. Make sure to ask a friend or try on clothes if at all possible before your purchase. This is a great shirt and I have already ordered 3 more.

The shirts look and feel great, but they are way too short for anyone who has a long torso, or for those who are over 5'11"-6' tall. Longer shirts provide concealment abilities, or allows the shirt to stay tucked in. By adding a "tall" option to this shirt, I think you would be able to provide a better shirt to your customers.

We use this polo for a special operations unit in the Housing Authority. It has all the pockets, just in the right places for everyone. It is a cool shirt for hot days and nights. Does not stain very easily. GREAT PRODUCT!

Nice shirt. We use them as our summer duty shirt during July and August. We embroider a badge and print on the back. They are very comfortable in hot weather. I also have a printing and embroidery business and the shirt embroiders and prints nicely. Quality product. Could be about 5-10 dollars cheaper.

This is a great shirt. When you first take it out of the package you can feel the quality and strength in the shirt. Its great for everyday use and wear. I'm a big guy and the XXL is great, not to baggy, fits just right. My only complaint is that if you dont have to wear it tucked in the shirts are a bit long.

The Performance Polo short sleeve, synthetic knit is by far the most comfortable, logically designed, and good looking professional looking shirt that I have in my closet and also, the coolest because it is HOT in Texas.I just wish I had remembered to put the 5.11 promo code to receive a new Tact 5.11 cap.

Overall this shirt rocks! I was hesitant at first to buy it, but I am glad I did. Would have rather had more of these than the UA Shirts I have. Very confortable and seem to be well put together. Love the pen pockets.Only thing is that the Red one I ordered isn't very colorfast. Be careful what you wash it with. I now have some "pink" tinged pants.

A Navy Seal friend of mine introduced me to 5.11, it's about all he wears. His usual garb is the Polo and Tactical pants. I tried some myself and was pleasantly surprised. I've worn a uniform with polyester pants for so long I had almost forgotten clothing could be comfortable AND functional. These Polos hold up well after years of use and havent faded. In addition, they haven't stretched out or become misshapen. The mic clips and pen pockets are really useful and also a nice way to set yourself apart from the average Polo.

Yes, these are my absolutte favorite shirts! PERIOD! I really appreciate the comfort, the fit and the way they breathe. They do not wrinkle at all and look as though you have put them on fresh each time you wear them. BUT, my favorite feature?? The pen holder in the sleeve! I find I do not wear my other non 511 polos any longer.I currently have 10 of the shirts in various models and colors and all of them are embroidered with either my church or comapny logo.This past summer I was blessed to be able to travel the Holy Lands including Israel, Greece and Turkey with our church and wore the 511 polos nearly everyday. In fact in Israel we had a guide that was just awesome so I've sent to him a white performance polo as a thank you.I will continue to add more to my collection AND spread the word about them every chance I get.Thanks Dan for a terrific product.

Good ventilation and very soft to the skin. Many tactical clothing is heavy duty material making it rough to the touch. This shirt is more comfortable than all my golf shirts. Love it.

The shirt is everything it's advertised to be: comfortable, cool, neat looking. Bought two, and one had a seam sewing defect - very courteously and promptly replaced by 5.11. The Silver Tan is a great color. The shoulder mic pockets can be seen through the white shirt's material, so it looks a bit odd, but isn't that big a deal. Otherwise, the mic clips on the shoulders and below the button pleat look fine and don't invite comment. Buy these shirts, they're worth it.
