These shirts fit well on a person who isnt over padded. If you are average weight to height ratio then these shirts fit great without the extra material around the bottom.

This 3 button 5.11 shirt is the best shirt (in the long sleeve 3 button category) In my closet. Beats my LL Bean shirts by a mile. Very true to size, durable and remains wrinkle-free while traveling.

Good construction, I purchased both the 100% Cotton and the Cotton Poly Blend. Personally, I prefer pure cotton which is a little more expensive, but I will enjoy wearing both during the cooler weather. (Neither model is made in China!!)

511 offers a few styles of long sleeve polos and decided on these ones as a supplemental uniform for me. Quality seems good so far and bought it on sale! Only time will tell how long they last!

Two years ago I was given two of the 5.11 Navy Blue Long Sleeve Polo's as gifts. I wore them through winter, washed them frequently and they still look new. The color held without any noticeable loss. I wash in cold water and set dryer for low heat and remove and hang dry. I have never had to iron these shirts. I have purchased similar looking shirts from department stores at greater prices that were junk and shrunk down a size or two even in cold water. These hold true to 5.11's mission of quality. I expect my new 5.11 Professional Long Sleeve Polo's to out last my car with probably the same mileage.The Professional Polo looks, wears and feels like it implies. I wear it under my long sleeve 5.11 Tactical Cotton long sleeve shirts during very cold weather, business meetings and all between.The material they use is exceptionally high end but that's no surprise since the label is 5.11.As usual I wouldn't expect anything less from 5.11. If someone buys this shirt for you consider them your best friend!

I bought one of these polos and loved it. Durable, comfortable and feels great. I now have Five LS polos, 2 SS polos and about 6 tee shirts. You cannot go wrong with a LS polo.

I have been wearing this shirt since it first came out - I have about a dozen of them in my closet now. This is the one shirt that always goes with me when I travel - I can wear it with a pair of nice slacks and a sportcoat for a more polished look, or with a pair of shorts at the beach. During my time in Afghanistan, these things held up not only to frequent wear under tough conditions, but repeated washings in a communal laundry, and still looked sharp. I've worn a couple out, but it took some doing. Can't say enough about this Polo, either long or short sleeve. Re my comment on size - I usually wear a Large, but order these in Medium as I like the fit better.

I'm overall happy with the product. It seems well made and it fits well to size but the color "Dark Navy" would be be better described as "Black". Product was purchased for work but with the color not being true to description I will have to save it for other uses.

Purchased for my husband based on his reviews of 5.11 pants he initially bought for work. He's pleased with the fit and comfort. I'm disappointed with the amount of fading that's occurred in only 2 washings. I've followed the laundering instructions to a T, yet the navy blue & black long sleeve polo's he's had for 2 weeks (and have ironically been washed twice)look like they've been washed extensively. If this is any indication of how well they wear I'll be buying new ones within the month. Really disappointed based on other reviews of the quality of the products!

I have been ordering 5.11 short sleeve Large/Tall polos for several years - the size and length was always perfect. This time I ordered Large/Tall long sleeves and the body was extremely long, at least 4" longer than the short sleeve ones I have. I am 6'2" and the long sleeve large/tall went past my crotch!

I've used the 5.11 polo shirts with department logo for years. I like the shirts so much I've begun wearing them off-duty. You really cannot beat the collar on these things. Even the designer (Polo, etc) shirt collars roll and/or fade. I first had some concern about the pen pocket on the sleeve but the shirts fit and look so good I really don't care if the sleeve is a little different. Great shirt!

The website had listed a navy and a dark navy. I did not realy want the dark because it looks almost black. Unfortunately, I found out the lighter navy is not avaiable. Think if you had a true choice of colors on the website, I would have purchased additional shirts.

This is a great quality polo shirt. I have a red one that is still just as red as when I first got it. My black one has not faded either. It holds up very well, in every way. The collar is always in its place and the pen pockets in the sleeve are great. Comfortable, good fit and just plain looks great. This is what a shirt should be!

Have been using the shirt at work as a Tactical Safety Specialist both CONUS and deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan, it wears great and lasts through all the rough laundry cycles. Will keep buying.

I love these LS polo's from 5.11. I have about six now and I can just grab one and not worry about how it looks or feels. I know they feel great and look good. I definitely prefer model #4051. The finer cotton polo that costs more does not fit as well of look as good as the 4051. I have every color and the L.E. green I have two. Just great shirts.

Currently I just got switched to are ERT on duty/off duty response team and Was "recommeded" by the others to get this shirt. It is extremely cold here in our part we had a day last week were it was -40 and a day later it was -5oC.5.11 also recommeded this shirt as it is a colder climate the 100% cotton really helps. I found that the length of the shirt is extremely long but if you tuck it in like we do it would not be a problem. I never used the Polos by 5.11 before and not even 20 mins into wearing this polo did I start using the Pen Pockets which is the best thing every made. We wear exterior vests and regular shirts have the Pen pocket on the front pocket making it extremely useless for us and the side pocket is just so much easier.I will have to see how it lasts with our velcro on our gear but at the moment it looks sharp just like the rest of the products.Stay Safe,

I currently am apart of the on call(24/7)ERT. And I had a problem with a product from 5.11 and they sent this out as a gift.I DO NOT recommend this shirt for a couple reasons.If you wear exterior armor. Wearing exterior armor the shirt collar is ruff and tends to "scrap" the skin around your neck.However I wore this as my uniform shirt the other day with my interior armor and it was OK. As we have a huge amount of threat levels we have to deal with we are issued 3A interior/and Exterior vests. So if you have bulky vests this is one I would never recommend. I was on a call for about 4 hours the day of recieving it and by the end my neck was scratched to high heaven.Although the back of the shirt is EXTREMELY long which really helps keep everything tucked in and neat.I will most likely use this for special events and media relations as it really is a professional polo. I just dont recommend wearing Exterior Body armor with it.Stay Safe

These shirts are required wear for our unit. Our only color choice is LE Green so I have no experience with other colors. LE Green is quick to fade and shirts look old after about 6-8 washings. I have also noted that the cotton fabric does tend to hold stains through the wash. All of my co-workers have noted the same problem. On the other hand, the fabric is durable and holds up well when you snag yourself on something. It won't rip. I have purchased 14 shirts over the last 2 years. I wear them daily and they do see hard use. Embroiders well.

Like the shirt, great product at affordable price. I would like to see some tapered professional polos for guys with a chest and narrower waist. Even blousing the shirt in the back, there's still way too much material to look reasonably squared away.Would also like to see the performance polo in tall sizes.
