NEEDS A HOOD!!!

Just purchased this jacket, not too thin, not too thick, comfortable. However, it needs a HOOD!!! Still great all over.

I followed 5. 11 jacket from sierra soft shell . it's bear ,looks smart and useful.nnI just received this jacket from an agent who handles shipments from America. I ordered it from a website for convenient shipping. This time, Im truly impressed with this 5. 11 jacket. Its durable, beautiful, and I believe this jacket will stay with me for many years, just like my Sierra jacket, which has been with me for seven years.nAnd it would be great if 5. 11 would bring back production of some models again.

It definitely is waterproof, as I was just out in the rain. All the zippers are smooth, no hang ups. Pocket on LF chest is useful for storing cell or glasses, quick access. Kept my hands warm in the lower outside pockets, good room. Comfortable. Material accommodates body movement. Never felt tight. I am 6' at 200lbs. Tried on XL and L, I chose the latter. By design, the collars face forward. Modern streamlined look. Satisfied with quality. Very happy with purchase. Thank you.

Perfect on the go jacket

Wanted a throw on jacket for going out that replicates the jacket I wear on duty. This is a very high quality jacket that fit perfectly. It looks very tactical and clean but isnt too tactical. Has a nice balance of sporty and tactical. True to size of my hoodies and other jackets. 5.11 continues to be a staple in tactical, useful, ruggedness, and capable clothing/equipment. I would order this jacket again without a doubt.

The size is pretty decent to size and the jacket it good quality. The main issues I have with it are it not being so warm by itself and if I'm being nitpicky the shoulders are pretty squared. A plus is that it repels water pretty well

Most of the last decade plus Ive worn one jacket and finally had to search for a replacement, took me four other brands before finding this perfect balance of warm, breathable, sturdy, light, good looking, and good pocket design. Im going to love it for many years.

I have purchased 5:11 products for some time and for the price point expect the fabric/materials to be top tier. Lately, the materials are easy to stain, difficult to remove. A picture is included of the left sleeve of my Nevada Soft-shell Jacket after three washes with stain still present. I expect my work clothes to be more resilient in tough conditions and not just an expensive tactical fashion statement. 5:11, lets stop the slacking and start paying attention to your QA. You have a great name brand, dont mess it up. I have Vortex gear that is holding up better. 5:11 feel free to contact me regarding this review. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Im a bigger guy so I do wish this came in 3 xl, but thats something I can/should fix. The jacket itself is great, its comfortable, its cozy when its cold and warm when its hot (65 degrees +). I love that it has the 4 pockets and its breathable inside.

This is a great looking jacket. I have serval from 5.11, best looking jacket they make. It's warm and light. Its true to size...maybe a hair larger but I if you a slight gut like me its prefect.

A warm softshell jacket with clean lines and fantastic fit!

This jacket fits great and looks even better! Very clean lines, moves with you and has a nice amount of stretch. It is warm too with a very nice micro fleece lining. I liked it so much I bought one in each color! My only suggestions to make it better would be to offer a version with more insulation for really cold days and a concealable hood that zips in the collar.
