I connected these pouches to the inside of my LVC10 molly panel and they work great, don’t have to worry about my mags being loose, they are always where I need them to be!
I have a mix review, on hand i like them and their design. But have had a few issues with this and the single mag pouch. after a few months (2-3) i agree the plastic retention has started to fail and the mag feel more and more lose on the duty belt. In the last few weeks while on call of service and during a training exercise ive had a mag fall out. Ive tried bending and washing them to tighten the elastic but im now looking for replacements or switching back to the older 5. 11 holsters i had with the flap cover
I grabbed a couple of these thinking they may be more comfortable than my old ones. Well, they are definitely more comfortable, especially since they never have any mags in them. The poor retention of these allow my Pistol mags to flop around and fall out making them absolutely useless.
I'm gonna start off by saying the actual magazine pouch is great. The mags stay put and the construction is pretty tough. Here's where the praise ends. The class for the mali attachment are such a weak point, they break so easily. I went through three separate pouches while on duty for Armored truck companies. They get snagged on the doors and that's the end of the pouch. All they needed was a stronger clasp.
Only way the magazines will stay secure is if you face them forward. Will fall out if you run, jump or kneel for any reason.
One of the pieces of plastic used for the retention of the mags broke just after 90 days so they wouldn't replace it. Went with High Speed Gear instead. FN 509 17 round mags were not very secure even before the retention piece broke. Would not recommend this mag pouch.
I purchased this product for use on my duty belt. I have a Sig P320 , with double stacked mags . It definitely does not hold them . They easily fall out on to the floor . I'm very disappointed in this product.
I purchased this product for use on my duty belt. My department issues the Sig P320 X-Full, so just your standard double stacked P320 magazine. There is absolutely zero retention whatsoever. The magazines can easily slide out with as much ease as if I was just picking the magazine off of the floor. I hate ordering this and now finding it absolutely mandatory to have to purchase a bungee kit just to keep my magazines secured. If I were to get into a foot chase with this on my belt I would absolutely be down two magazines after running. Highly considering just moving to Esstac Kywis.
Pouch holds mags secure during drills but no issues drawing one for a reload on the run or stationary. Attaches to the battle belt securely also. Made the last qual range a breeze to excel and stay on target with reloads. Wish the was a 3 mag option but this suffices
The elastic band wore out within a week or so. My mags fall out by simply bending over to pick something up from the ground. I do not recommend this mag pouches to anyone
These are a great quality mag pouch they are very snug at first use but with time and use they will essentially become a perfect fit for your magazine's.
Costumer service is horrible. Unable to reach them most of the time, when I do its obviously outsourced to third party and they cant really help. nnI wont spend any more money with 5.11 as they obviously dont want to help the costumer and honor their own policies.
The only issue was that they needed to give more room for the bungee kit to be feed through the opens on the mag pouch. Opening areas Sewn a little to tight. Also did not come with the Velcro straps to mount it in my 5.11 backpack I have. I Had to call and have them sent to me. Which the customer rep. Was very helpful and got them right out. Which I appreciate it along with the holster pouch which was on back order but he was able to find one for me.
Ive only had it in use for a month and the mag slots are way too loose. The mags will easily fall out if I were to fall or get into a foot pursuit. Looking into different options.
Works with non CZ branded Magazines. Such as Magpul/ETS brands. Also works fine with my M&P M2.0 Mags. Although not with not as much retention as with the SMG mags.
Quality construction, but not as secure as I'd like them to be. Pry need to put some friction tape on the inside of the pouch if I was using these in the field.
