Ordered an XL. And unless you have an EXTREMELY long torso, you'll have to wear these shirts tucked in. Untucked, it wears like a cocktail dress. VERY long.

Love the performance polo, both long and short sleeve versions. They are the only thing I wear when I am not wearing my work-required shirts. I have requested they add these to their catalog, but nothing yet. I would like to see the TDU green and a kahki/coyote (darker than the silver tan) color added to the long sleeve option.

I enjoy the shirt but somehow to be a thin material its a heavy shirt. Good quality but to be a long sleeve its not very warm.

My usual choice is cotton polo and have never been disappointed. Thought I would try the synthetic and am equally pleased. The fit is perfect for the size and even after a long12 to 14 hour day it still looks like I just put it on. 511 continues to be my choice for all of my work clothes. The attached photo is just washed.nOn a side 511 jeans are the best fitting and most comfortable that I have.

I am an XL guy, but the XL shirt that I got mailed to me was HUGE, more like a 2XL or Big and Tall. Even the sleeves were at least 2 inches longer. I liked the green color and the material, but I think the shirt was mis marked XL. I mailed back to factory and I am waiting for them to credit my account.

Useful for mountain rescue team/crew. Prefer orange for SAR purposes. nn511 used to have a blaze orange that was popular with inters and SAR trams.

I'm not why everyone is saying this is such a comfortable shirt. It is 100% Polyester. I should have looked more closely at the fabric before purchasing. Keep in mind there are FOUR types: Performance, Professional, Utility, and Tactical Jersey. I didn't realize this and just picked one. View them all before purchasing. Cotton would feel much more comfortable.

This is an excellent, well made, and well designed shirt that I recommend. I have one complaint. A "navy blue" shirt should be navy blue. It should not be black or look like a black shirt. In any light, the navy blue shirt is practically black.

I love the 5.11 product line because they go from the office to the field so well. I may plan to be in the office and then have to go look for an absconder and I can make the transition without destroying my dress clothes. They are very functional for everyday use. They are comfortable and wear well.

I like the shirt would love but need to be in tall or long. One reason for I have a CCW and all my other 511 polo are in long and work grat when I carying. I wear the shirts all the time I will not be wearing this new one for it is to short. Please make this shirt in long.Thank you

I am not a police officer nor do I need a tactical shirt. I own three of these shirts though because they are simply the most comfortable long-sleeved polos I have every worn. They have been able to handle everything I have thrown at them. I wish I had them when I was working as a registered nurse in the ICU. They would have been perfect: warm but breathable, sharp appearance but comfortable.

I just got them, and I can immediately feel and see a difference. In my line of work Im constantly have to transition from the office, or meeting directly to the streets. This shirt definitely fits that roll.

Great shirts for summer motorcycle riding - Keeps the sun off the arms, yet breathes great. Doesn't wrinkle, snag, or fade. Outstanding product. I just wish there were other colors available, e.g., yellow,orange,red, etc. I also use these shirts for golfing and fishing.

All I have to do is wash and wear and 5.11 looks great and wears great. Keep up the great product lines. I can wear them for casual or for work details.

I wear my 5.11 clothing for both work and casual and there are many days that I work long hours. I need clothing that is going to look good on those long days and I can always depend on 5.11. They are durable and comfortable even after long days.
