Speed 4.0 6" Desert Boot

I just got these boots a week or so ago (shipping was great and timely). I had a couple of concerns: 1.) COMFORT; 2.) FLEXIBILITY; 3.) COOL. After the first time wearing them, 1.) They are indeed comfortable, even for a first wear. I suspect that they will only get more comfortable as time goes on. 2.) They are very flexible at first wear. This was, perhaps, my greatest concern. I wanted something comfortable AND flexible; something I can run in if necessary. These fit the bill in this category, too. 3.) Finally, as to keeping my feet cool, they do quite well. I live in Southeastern VA and it can get hot & humid. The only thing left is their durability. Only time will tell about that, but having looked them over, they look pretty sturdy. Conclusion: I highly recommend them!

The customer service is excellent. I needed to exchange a pair of boots. The time I shipped the original pair until I received the replacement boots seemed like an area 5.11 could improve.

I was really hoping these would work for me; but the wide width was still too narrow. I guess Ill have to stick with the more expensive competitor whose name rhymes with manner

This is my second purchase of this boot ,nearly wore the first pair out wearing them every day !

Zipper broke in a few months like I assumed it would. Waste of money, didnt even get a good use out of them. Poor design for long life.
