Overall good impression! Stiff enough for reasonable EDC gear including a gun at least up to the size/weight range of a Glock 26. I don't think it'll match well with a gun much over 25oz or so.nnOnly reason it's 4 stars instead of 5 is that getting that last little bit of tension on the buckle is difficult.nnWithin it's capabilities it's a solid budget option.

An excellent and versatile belt

I like this belt a lot ; I took it with me on a trip, and it sailed through TSA without a hitch. It adjusts a bit stiffly at first, but its acceptable and keeps its adjustment without slipping . I enjoy the versatility too; I can switch between black and green depending on the color of my pants.

Once you learn the 'trick' of getting it on/off, this is the best belt there is for EDC. For me, Wider Belts don't work, smaller belts don't work at all, and thin belts (one layer) are just too flimsy. I can run thru thru my belt loops, or not, and use a variety of holsters with both compact and full size pistols, and this thing works better than anything else I ever tried in more then 30 years.nTry it You'll like it.

Not quite as magical as I was lead to believe it would be, but still manages to be my daily, for now. I simultaneously love and hate how rigid the strapping is, and I'm surprised at how the buckle does not slip - this is all to say that it's possible to cinch down too hard, expecting it to flex and loosen, but it does not, if you crush your internal organs when you put it on, they'll remain crushed until you adjust.nnI agree with the note in the product description, buy larger than the measurement guide. The guide is not wrong, but, I'm a 38, so I bought L as recommended, and I wish I bought XL, as the L only gives me about 2-inches of strap beyond the buckle. It still fits just fine, I just would have liked a little bit more to work with. Not sure if I overlooked their note or if it wasn't there when I purchased, but, I'm sad I missed that.

BEST Belt For The Money

Love this belt! Once it started to break in and work it's way through the buckle, it has been fantastic. Being reversible I didn't need to buy a second color. It is also a rigid enough belt to support my CCW and any other EDC items I choose. I've paid 4x for belts that I've now found to be inferior.

Most belts flip to the right, this one flips to the left. Also you cannot tighten the belt thru the plastic buckle. It doesnt slide properly. You pull on the end of the belt, it will not allow the webbing to pull thru.

Website recommends buying two sizes larger than you normally wear. I wear a medium (33-34) and bought an XL based on this advice. It is way too big for me, about 4 inches longer than I need it to be. I think one size up from my usual would be about right.

Excelent belt. I use it with abr pants and it's tsa compliant. Great option for dinamic shooting or outdoors activities.nGreat for holster and mag/admin pouches. nMust say that the recomendation of one size more is excelent. NumbernIt has no metal part.nThe buckle it's very strong.nMust have.nAhhh you can really use both sides it's perfect (two in one).

The belt is high quality and I'm sure it will last a long time under serious distress. It's likely strong enough to be used as a recovery strap for overland vehicles if it was long enough. HOWEVER, the buckle flimsy by comparison. Made of plastic. And it slips as you're attempting to tighten to fit appropriately. I returned it because of the buckle.
