I bought this jacket for the sole purpose of wanting a rain resistant jacket that I can also keep in my pack-out bag. Even though its intent isnt for rain let me tell you, first day I bought it it survived a Florida downpour as soon as I walked out of the store, kept me nice and dry. I bought one for me and my wife Im 61 and got a small fits perfect and she is 52 and was able to fit an extra small since they dont make a womens. nReading some reviews I was speculating on overall comfortability but Ive realized that some people either dont read the product descriptions or are just straight up cry babys. nOnly takeaway is I wish you could tuck in the hood but thats besides the point. Great product!!

Love this windbreaker in black. This is my 3rd jacket from 5.11 and its the best one from my purchases. Nice ribbed cuff detail, chest zipper pocket, high zipper so my neck is covered and great all around basic design. I'm able use this as a layer or as a stand alone. I wanted to purchase another one in black as a backup, but it looks like its no longer available except in the green/olive. If you guys do a reorder or another version of the radar in black, I'd buy again.

Very nice windbreaker. Really like the Ranger Green color. I'm 6'2", the sleeves are not short, at rest the sleeves hanging around the wrist. It would be nice if the sleeves were an inch longer! 4 stars because it would be nice if I could get this in a large-tall.

The fit is good but I was disappointed that the material is not as breathable as my other 5.11 packable jacket. This one feel stiff and makes me overheat.

This is not in any way a soft, breathable, comfortable jacket as in the description. This is a jacket made from the same material used to manufacture pop up camping tents. It smells like it, wears like it, feels like it. It's like being inside your very own personal camping tent. With all the body moisture problems that entails.nnI put this on and was immediately assaulted by the smell of "TENT". And I could feel the lack of breathability. Also, despite being a 2X, it was snug across my chest, and all I had on was a T-Shirt. I'm no bodybuilder either, but the cut is clearly not intended for a masculine form. (V shape) It is a cylinder that doesn't account for male broadness in the chest. The shoulders were fine, the length was good, and plenty of room in the belly area (actually a bit much) but for some reason it was noticably snug across my chest. I could never wear even a button-down shirt under this, I wouldn't be able to zip it closed.nnNow, if you are looking for what is essentially a light raincoat, then this will work just fine. I think. I didn't get a chance to test it for waterproofness. But if you are looking for a lightweight, breathable, roomy coat with some stretch, (like I was) this isn't the coat for you.nnIn my case, I set up a return inside 20 minutes of ownership. It was CLEARLY not the coat for me.

The purchase is exactly what I was looking for, a light weight wrinkle resistant jacket that I can wear alone or under a heavier jacket in colder conditions. Also, I don't know if it is the intended purpose but at least for me it provides some protection in light rain conditions.

Awesome "Windbreaker" Jacket & true to fit. I wear form-fitting Medium Shirts, and was pleased to see the jacket fit like a Medium+, with just the right amount of space to accommodate a heavy layer if need be, but also fit appropriately & stylish as is. Additionally, the material is rugged & ultra thin, and more importantly it DOESN'T BREATH...which makes it very warm! Compact enough to carry in a 5.11 Cargo Pocket (when inverted/packed down into a rectangle), but easily warm enough for a cold 40 degree fall day!

Great light jacket!

Very pleased with my purchase. I am a pilot and travel a lot. This jacket packs well into itself and is perfect for 3 seasons. It is waterproof (or at least the water beaded right up and rolled off). Found that out my first time using it. Ive been a long time user of 5.11 products and will be for a long time to come. Jacket is well worth the purchase. I hope it lasts as long as my 5.11 pants (10+ years).
