I have one of these. It's ones kept inside the main compartment of my backpack, currently using the Rush24, no need to put on the outside at this time. These med pouch can work well as a hybrid med kit, combing both basic personal first aid and hemorrhage control trauma kit into one. I spend a lot of time outside and on foot, so I don't think I can be too well prepared for emergencies.

The construction is fine, I purchased it because of the 3 depth measurement. Which turned out to be more like 2. Wont stretch anywhere near 3.

this little guy is a HUGE time saver! I have mind connected to my Rush72 backpack and i gotta tell ya, it saves time! I have not needed to use the contents of it yet, but i know if the day comes when i injure myself rucking, or whatever i'm doing, that i wont waste time or effort finding what i need! this little guy holds all my bandages (multiple different sizes), scissors, gauze, medical tape, latex gloves, and a small bottle of hydrogen peroxide for wound cleaning on the field. All in all, love this add-on and highly recommend it!

I have one of these in every color, cant be too ready. This pouch has dual mesh zippers which hold everything great. No bothering with elastic retainers that never work in the sections. Great med kits.

I looked far and wide for a pouch with see through internal pockets to hold meds and 5.11 hit the mark perfectly. It's just big enough to fit on the side of my Rats bag and hold all the basic meds I want, a carpuject, and a pocket pharmacopia. The two mesh sides keep everything organized and visible without everything dumping out or having to dig through the pouch. It has yet to tear or have zipper issues after a deployment and multiple training events and the bag gets tossed around. The drainage port is nice too.

Added this pouch onto the outside of my Rush 24. Fits on the bag well and looks good. Doesn't have a lot of individual storage spaces but if you set up your kit right you'll have no problem with this pouch.

So overall its a nice med pouch. Out side of this bag feels pretty smooth and very well built. Only 2 pockets inside, nothing to really separate or organize in this which isnt a big deal at all, the zippers are well made so I don't see anyone breaking them trying to open the bag fast when they need first aid, idk what the bottom nylon loops are for, you can see them in the video they have for it, there's 3 of them, I'm not sure if it's for like a pen, tweezers or just support for the stitching at the bottom, until you know I suggest to not put anything here unless you know for sure it won't harm it, only thing I have to complain about that is not a big deal whatsoever is when I got this pouch the cardboard display thing it was attached to said everything the video says except at the top corner it says it has drain holes. Now I've spent over 40 mins looking for these drain holes that don't exist that I could see but ether way it's a little misleading and had my hopes up that it had a way to drain water but it doesn't, so I'm assuming it's just a accident that it says that but it's not an issue this bag is still great, the price is right and i recomened it to anyone who's looking at a med pouch 5.11 has made great stuff and this is just another thing I love about this great American company keep up the good product

The pouch can hold a lot of medical gear, but you've little choice but to just throw it into one of the side zipper sections and let it tumble all around. Multiple internal compression straps would be useful to organize and keep internal components from shifting.

Product is well constructed and durable. One of the things I appreciate the most about it is the use of space. Too many similar pouches have flat internal zippered pockets that bulge up in the middle don't allow you to store much at the edges. The internal pockets in 5.11 Medic Pouch allow you to use the entire internal space. The picture below shows where I keep one of these pouches for easy access in my 4x4 SUV. I also keep medic pouch in my 72hr & Response packs. I just wish 5.11 would make a similar one in a 6x9" size, perhaps with some kind of dividers within the mesh pockets to organize supplies.

Awesome pouch with infinite uses, the only gripe I could think of is that the zippers were kinda sticky and not very smooth but i have a feeling it will smooth out with time. I do wish they would offer this pouch with and without the cross, as this would make an excellent odds and ends pouch. Also, the tac od color compliments the FDE color very well.

Have one pouch attached to my range bag with basic first aid items. Second bag is in Hurricane box . Third pouch has emergency supplies for my dog. Yes for my dog. When you have to evacuate when a hurricane or tornado come you grab and go.

I've had a surplus LBE vest and been looking to add some pouches to it. The first-aid kit I got with camping in mind, and I can easily see how this can be used for a more serious setting; the way it attaches to the vest it'll fall open once unzipped, allowing you a clear view of the outside-half's pocket and contents, and with a slight lean you can see those still against your vest.Only criticism I have for it is that the three small straps along where the two sides meet are really only practical to hold one or two thin items. But with the possibilities afforded by the mesh interior walls, this isn't an issue whatsoever.

This item appears ready to to work in a rough environment but I'm not confident it would keep contents dry. I would use a larger and more internally divided item tied to my vest as a backpacker's ten essentials solution, but this item would make carrying bandages and such a disorganized situation.

I like the overall design. It just needs to be a little bigger and deeper. Typically carry personal kit of 4x4's, kerlix rolls, tape, Vasoline impregnated gauze, ACE bandage, SAM splint.The 6.6 is more suited for a blow out kit. Just a little bigger and it would be really nice!

This pack is the right size for a small trauma kit. It is essentially divided into two halves, each with a mesh zippered pocket for easy identiifcation. One one side, I was able to fit several gauze pads, two small rolls of gauze wrap, and bandages of various sizes. On the other half I fit nitrile gloves, masks, ointments, solutions and pain killers. In the middle fits (almost exactly) one package of QuickClot Sport (i.e., Combat Gauze). With the straps on the back, it fits snugly and securely onto any pack with MOLLE webbing (such as the MOAB 10 backpack).The only criticism I have is that the cross on the outside should be red in color, so others can easily identify what it is. (Or at least, that should be an option).Otherwise, this is a perfect small trauma pack, which I would recommend to throw into a range bag.

I am a diabetic and a COPD patient. I like the outdoors and hike and cycle a lot. Due to me being a busy person with work and spare time..i have continues need for my meds and First Aid care. This pouch is the perfect size for all those needs for me. Its attached to whichever bag i use, the MOAB10 or the Messenger bag. Great job !

I bought this to attach to my hiking/daily use bag which is a rush 24. Fits fine and holds a large amount of first aid supplies. Pouch is sturdy and holds firm to my pack. 2 things I would like to see on this bag (both are incredibly superficial):1. I wish the med cross was red. Just cause it'd look cool.2. An ID window would be great on the front of it for an ID plate with some medical info JIC. Or maybe Velcro.

This pouch is exactly what I wanted. A small IFAK that holds enough medical supplies for me and maybe one other person. This little pouch will hold a lot more than you think it will. Right now I have 69 items in it and will be adding a few more soon. It attached to my RUSH 72 pack easily and looks great!

This is a great first aid kit! I've attached this to my Rush 72 pack and it fits seamlessly. I'm very happy with this item and it easily holds 72 first aid items with room to spare. I use this for my BOB and also for my camping IFAK. Highly recommended for anyone looking to build their own first aid kit.

Great med pouch. I bought this as an add on to my MOAB 10 pack and actually got to test it out during a recent 5 day family trip. I am sorry to say it worked very well when my 5 year old took a tumble. It was extremely convenient having everything I needed readily available. The pouch is very roomy. This has now become my everyday first aid pouch.

This is a very good fast medical pouch. Having been a military corpsman, it carries essential items for tier one lifesaving and stores more than you would think.Just remember that the cross symbol is NOT a medical symbol. A Red Cross is a protected symbol under the Geneva Convention for use ONLY by Red Cross societies around the world. Medics are permitted to use the cross symbol NOT as a medical symbol, but because medics are considered non combatants and protected under the Geneva Convention.Misuse of the cross symbol typically result is prosecution.

I bought this First Aid Pouch for my tactical vest. It has ample storage for all the gear I need and them some. It was easy to install on my vest and easy to gain access to. This is a great little personal First Aid. It holds a lot more first aid supplies than I imagined when I first set eyes on it. It zippers all the way around, so when opened, you get two identical clam shell halves. It's internal zippered mesh holds contents secure, and opens wide to fill and access contents. It's also has molle system so it's application to your kit is versatile. Great little pouch!

I love this pouch! I was amazed at how much I was able to fit in it. It is a bit bulky, but manageable. I would recommend that the color of the cross and zipper pulls be made in red, to better identify the pouch.

I ordered this at the same time I ordered my Rush24 Backpack, I imidiatly attached it to the bag and filled it that night,(it holds 3 pair of gloves, 5 4x4 gouse, 2 6x9 gouse, tape, scissors, 2 cling, 2 cravates, and 4 alcohol prep pads.) and theres room for more! The zippered compartments are great, and the size is just right! With the slick stick it slid on easily and is very secure! Overall I'm very happy with the product,and strongly recomend it for anyone who wants a seperate compartment for Med. supplies. (the Med. Cross is great as an identifyer)The backpack is to be an Survial/Tactical BOB, and this Med. pouch helps complete it! I look foward to further teasting of my 5.11 tactical gear and look fward to many further purchases with 5.11!

Nice sized little Med Pouch. Very roomy inside; could hold just about everything necessary for a survival pack, or first aid kit for the car. The best thing about it would have to be the Slickstick Molle attachment system. Pretty nifty little system. All in all: sweet little pouch that will get the job done...

I got this pouch to use it as my personal first aid kit. I take it almost everywhere - hunting, hiking, on vacation etc. As a doctor, I stuffed a lot of things inside - the capacity of this pouch is amazing considering it's size. Internal zippered mesh pockets work great for organizing stuff, furthermore you can easily see what's inside. For example I put dressings in one pocket and pharmaceuticals in the other one. Elastic loops between the pockets work great for tick pincers or a pair of tweezers. The pouch is compatible with MOLLE which is great, becouse one can attach it to a backpack or a bag thus saving some space inside and making the pouch easily accesible when needed. Zippers are smooth and quite silent. Medical cross on the front is also quite nice, couse it's easy to identify it as a medical pouch. Build quality is very high - I use it about a year and still no sign of wear and tear. Overall a great product for a reasonable price! Thank you 5.11!

Best buy ever.I use it on patrol as a soldier in the dutch royal army.if it is necessary i kan zip it open and i can help mij budy if he is wounded.I use it with whit the thigh rig on my right leg.it sits me never in the way during foot patrol or car patrol.my advise is buy it you will never regret it.

When you need a pouch that can hold any small items that you will or even just might need anywhere, The 6.6 Med Pouch with the Slick Stick system and internal dividers is the best choice. Holds a large quantity of items while giving you the ability to organize your stuff making it easier and faster to find and get to.*I personally use two of these because of the dividers but only one is for my Med kit. The other one which I use for none medical items I removed the cross myself with a thread cutter. Great product!

I put together an actual useful first aid kit based off of recomendations from members of our SWAT. This bag fits the few things I wanted. The zippered pockets inside make it nice to not have everything fall out when the pack is opened but I would like to have seen some molle webbing on the outside front of the pack even if was on just the sides of the medical cross. I would be able to attach my tourniquet case to the outside like I wanted to if the webbing was there. I will be taking the pack somewhere to see if I can have it modified with the webbing. I would have bought the 6.6 padded pouch but I prefer the zippered pockets inside this one and I'm hoping the webbing can can be added which will make it perfect. All in all a great product, holds everything, durable, and small enough to grab quickly when needed.

This product fit everything I wanted for my trauma first aid kit I use at work. The only problem is I'd like to see some Mole attachement on the outside front of it along with the first aid cross. It'd be nice to be able to mount my tourniquet to the outside front of it with the tourniquet pouch I have.

This med pouch is not the first purchased. Prior use of the 5.11 6.6 Med Pouch proved it tough and vicious against various environments. Other similar molle med pouches from other manufactures were discarded due to poor workmanship. The 5.11 Med Pouch has ample room and can stuff exceptional amount of med supplies. The zippers are strong enough to close when it is packed to the max. We have purchased custom made tactical gear from other manufacturers but we cannot count on consistent quality which 5.11 provides. The Med Pouch is great for bailout bags, glove compartment or any undetectable ops bag.I have not listed any cons but I believe a similar bag two to three times bigger with misc pockets on the side and a main compartment to store several of these (4 minimum) med pouches back to back would be a great idea, very practical and mandatory in any vehicle('s).
