Thad V.,
This is my 3rd 5.11 belt. Dressy enough to wear to work when I’m not carrying and rugged enough to wear when I am.
RaspundeWilliam M.,
This is the second belt I have purchased. The first belt lasted many many years. I highly recommend this belt. The stiffening insert supports my holster and Glock 26 without letting the gun flop over. It's very nice looking and well made.
RaspundeJames M.,
I've had several...wearing out two (well, if I were thinner...).
RaspundeBrett,
After only 3 months on daily wear the pleather outer layer has started to Bubble and wrinkle it has sustained significant damage even though it has not been exposed to anything out of the normal day to day. even the inside is starting to rub off just from rubbing against my pants. Youd be better off with a Walmart belt for half the price.
RaspundeThomas P.,
this is the fourth carry belt of this model I have purchased. they always keep things secure. please continue making this belt for the next thirty years.
RaspundeBrad T.,
The last hole is at the limit of functionality, where previous mediums I had two good holes.
RaspundeBuck N.,
The 1st order crashed before it went thru. Then I tried it again and it went OK. But I got charged for 2 separate norders. I tried to cancel one of them 2 different ways but was ignored.
RaspundeMichael V.,
Fits well with & without holster. Seems durable. Belt is a little stiff, but Im sure it will loosen up.
RaspundeDaniel,
bought one brown one black in 2019 after graduating and since then both have been excellent and have held up compared to regular belts. Highly recommend. Other LEOs I know say they last 8-10 years before needing replacement especially when you alternate them.
RaspundeElaine C.,
Bought as Christmas gift for son. I like the sturdiness and was on sons wishlist
RaspundeAnthony S.,
Works well for EDC. Fits under my larger belly. Stiff enough for OWB of full sized pistol and extra magazine. I would purchase again.
RaspundeDonald J.,
Best belt Ive ever had , it holds my holsters very good inside or outside of my pants . Thanks for the fast service .
RaspundeMARK H.,
Great belt, just wore out the last one; which lasted 13 years.
RaspundePaul G.,
When it says, "Sizes run small; we recommend that you order 1 size up from pant size," that is horribly INCORRECT!!! I am now on my fourth belt from this group. The previous three were basket weave. These are EXCELLENT belts! I expect that I will buy these belts as long as I am buying belts. They are truly great! However, this time I saw the caveat to buy one size up. I guess 3 or 4 guys gained weight, ordered a belt and it couldn't span their new expanse. So, they sent the belts back and blamed the fit, not the fat... I did buy the next size up and it's HUGE! I have had to punch two holes in it to keep my pants from hitting the floor... So, if you are unsure get out the tape measure. Measure your middle, measure your existing belt. The inch size you require should be one of the two middle holes in the belt. If you buy a size 40-42 belt, the two middle holes will be 40 & 42. So, buy the right size. Don't buy one size up.
RaspundeRonert H.,
5.11 belts are always top notch. Perfect fit, quality construction and super speedy shipping. Wouldnt wear anything else,
RaspundeConrad B.,
I have several of these belts. I use them on duty and off duty for concealed carry. The stiff inner piece keeps the holster secured with no sagging.
RaspundeWilliam M.,
I've had one of these for the past 10 years and they wear like iron. They may be expensive but they NEVER wear out. This one will outlive me.
RaspundeDarrin,
Most people wouldn't know that this belt is designed to support gear by looking at it. It has a business/office-appropriate look but still serves its purpose well.
RaspundeLARRY H.,
Appears good quality. A little stiff all around. nDoubt Ill ever use the hidden key feature.
RaspundeJav G.,
I bought mine in store about 18 months ago. One of my favorite features is something other have complained about and that is how stiff it is. It will not sag under the weight of your tools. nnHowever, this is the second 5.11 belt Ive owned and its the second one where the stitching is begging to fall apart. Very dissatisfied and may not try a third.
RaspundeMicah J.,
I thought this thing was stuff just because I hadnt broken it in yet, but this belt just has no flex. Its really hard to put on, only having an okay fit. Not to mention, the leather scratches really easily, so it already looks like its going to start falling apart. This belt leaves a lot to be desired.
RaspundeBret W.,
Perfect fitnDurable enough to handle EDC items nLooks great with either wearing business casual or dressing down.
RaspundeFranklin P.,
Like the belt just a little stiff for now but new and not broken in yet
RaspundePhilip A.,
I love these belts, I have them in black and brown. Absolutely up to the task of carrying the weight of a pistol, and two spare mags very comfortably. I just wanted another one in case 5.11 stops making this style as they have with other products that I use.
Raspundestuart v.,
I bough one for tactical a few years ago & it still looks new with some polish .I am very hard on the belt & it takes the abuse well. I loved it so much ,I just bought one for casual wear . 3 Thumbs up!
RaspundeBrian L.,
The size guide online was not right. the belt does not fit and the first available hole is nowhere near where it should be. I compared the belt to my other belts and I am disappointed as the holes are no where near in comparison to other belts. This was not a good purchase.
RaspundeMatthew R.,
Love these belts, I am ready to buy two more but smaller size do to my dieting. They are high quality belts that with stand what I put my belts through. I will be back to buy some other items nThank You
RaspundeBruce W.,
This is my 3rd belt, had first one for about 5 to 6 years, still in good shape but has some wear on it. Use everyday for CC and regular activities. Love these belts.
RaspundeJOHN T.,
I HAVE THIS SAME STYLE BELT FOR SEVERAL YEARS AND THE OLD ONE IS SHOWING ITS AGE ( IT IS WORN EVERY DAY DOING ALL KINDS OF OUTSIDE WORK )nSO, I NEEDED A BETTER BELT THAT DID NOT SHOW THE SCARS OF USE. nTHIS IS MOST LIKELY THE BEST BELT I HAVE HAD.
RaspundeMitchell H.,
as a test, I wore my SW model 29 .357 magnum for a few hours. although a pain in the ass to wear, the belt held up magnificently
RaspundeTim H.,
Ordered both the brown and black versions of this belt to replace the black one Ive owned for a couple years. They dont seem to have the same quality and arent as stiff as the last be Im replacing. They also run smaller than the previous one. I wish I would have ordered larger ones so I can use for Ccw.
RaspundeKathleen M.,
This purchase is a gift, I have nothing more to share. However, I am impressed with the fast service.
RaspundeBenjamin H.,
Loving this belt. It is a fairly stiff belt which is what I was looking for(there is another belt option for a less-stiff fit). Looks and feels great, and offers great support.
RaspundePaul S.,
Didn't fit as described. Appeared to be more like black than brown. I returned it and got $10 less, presumably shipping? Less than pleased.
RaspundeVICKI L.,
This belt replaces one that was purchased prior to 2013, so it is a very durable product!
RaspundeJacob J.,
I have been conceal-carrying since 2013. The only belt I have been using since then to support my gear has been the 5.11. The belts and other items sold at 5.11 are durable and last a long time. I highly recommend this company.
RaspundeMark W.,
Every bit as good as the mission ready belt in terms of support for your CCW.
RaspundeCarlos B.,
I received the belts in a timely manner. The belts are very strong and made of high quality leather. I am very pleased with this purchasure and will definitely order more products when needed in the future. Continue the outstanding work. Thank you nnSatisfied Customer!
RaspundeChris W.,
Back of the belt warping already have a couple weeks of use.
RaspundeJustin M.,
Outstanding product and with a customer service that is above and beyond. You cant go wrong with 5.11
RaspundeJoseph E.,
The belt does what it is suppose to do. Its simple and it is everything i expected for a gun belt
RaspundeHarold M.,
These belts are strong look good and do the job they were intended to do and they are durable
RaspundeDavid B.,
Good gun belt at a good price. My only issue is the sizing guide. I followed the instructions given but the belt is too large.
RaspundeThomas M.,
Outstanding and anGreat quality and would recommend 5.11 to anyone.
RaspundeDaniel O.,
My favorite belt when I carry. Strong and sturdy this belt meets all the requirements when you carry.
RaspundeGerard F.,
Wore the belt two times and the loop broke. Cheaply made. Waste of money.
RaspundeShawn H.,
Ive got several belts from 5.11 tactical.the leather ones are my favorite.it supports my firearm well.i probably should have ordered a size bigger.no complaints about it
RaspundeBrian B.,
I bought one 8 years ago and the old one was much better quality than the new one. The new one has less leather and is not as sturdy as the old one. There is a clear difference in the quality of the 2 belts. Will not buy again.
RaspundeWilliam Z.,
A very high-quality belt. I have other 5.11 products also and highly recommend all of them.
RaspundeJarret H.,
I purchased one of these belts more than ten years ago and just replaced it with a new one of the exact same style and color. Most other belts last me a year or two, but these are great quality and are built to last. They are comfortable and retain their shape well too.
RaspundeMark S.,
This belt is off good value and it holds up very well to everyday carry. Lasts about 7-8 years.
RaspundeCharles B.,
I was very impressed with how well this belt supports all the gear on the belt. It keeps it firmly to my side without sagging. Will buy this belt in the future.
RaspundeMark m.,
I just ordered a replacement for this belt that I wore daily for 5 years! Still is fine but worn out. I wear that one at work now. Great product!
RaspundeTimothy M.,
Quality is good but the sizing is not right. I have a 29-30 waist so I got the corresponding belt according to the size chart...it is almost too small to fit me as I have to put it on the 2nd to last hole.
RaspundeNicholas D.,
This was a great quality belt overall, and I was happy with that aspect, but I just wish it would fit me a little better. I am a size 29-30 waist and in between the small and medium. I probably should have just gone with the medium, so this is on me.
RaspundeHumberto A.,
The bell is well constructed I cannot speak about durability cause it's been used only for 2 1/2 months the loop that comes with it its small compare to the width of the belt so it needed to be stretch to be able to run it tru; I'm given 3 stars cause the price compare to others of the same quality it's more.
RaspundeMichael H.,
Good quality belt. The stiffener makes it perfect for Concealed Carry. Dressy enough for any occasion.
RaspundeThomas D.,
Decent belt for a reasonable price. I like the notch at the leading end of the belt, it helps the belt slide through tight belt loops.
RaspundeJason,
Read these reviews and I had already owned this belt and loved it after 4 years of owning I finally decided to get a new one. Boy the new one is awedul the reinforcement inside started breaking after a day it multiple places and the reinforcement is not nearly as stiff as the old one I wore it for about 2 months and it was in worse shape then the one I owned for 4 years. Stopped wearing it went back to my old 511 belt that was actually a good product
RaspundeKevin,
Bought the 2XL to compensate for the growing midsize. The last few months the 2XL has gotten too loose due to losing weight, a good thing! Since I still had the other one hanging up, the XL, I put it back on and am still very satisfied with it! Carry IWB or OWB without sagging or stretching. Only problem is that the holes mushroomed when the load increased (the load being what is inside the belt, not what is attached to the belt) and trying to use the same hole. Extremely satisfied with the belts, both of them! Will definitely buy again when the size stabilizes!
RaspundeTravis,
Have had this belt for a couple years now, still works well. Lost one of the Chicago screws and leather loop though :(. Even with that loss this belt is still going strong, only belt I have that really fits comfortably for me with 5.11 pants.
RaspundeStinch7245,
I am telling you, I have never owned a belt this high quality. I typically have to pull my pants up every time I get in and out of a chair, but with this belt... everything stays in place. I love it and will continue to use this product!
RaspundeRay,
I wear a size 32 and the medium fits on the last eye hole in the belt.My current EDC setup has a phone case that's been MOLLE'd onto a clone Blackhawk belt adapter. The belt has some difficulty bending through the hard plastic, but it still works. I'd trust this to a pistol, as several other reviewers have. The handcuff key holder in the rear gets snagged on the seams of my pants when I put the belt on. It also makes taking the belt off difficult. It's really just a piece of elastic fabric that's been sewn to the belt. I don't trust shorter Masterlock keys to stay in it, but maybe a longer handcuff key, house key, or some money. Just beware of any items you put in there snagging and falling out when you put the belt on or take it off.
RaspundeRoan,
Ive owned this belt for about 2 years now and its still going strong. It's showing some signs of wear on the leather but no signs of stitching problems or cracking in the notch holes I use on it. Im very happy with this belt and impressed with the quality.
RaspundeAgustin,
Fantastic 5.11 1.5 Leather Belt with Secret pocket key, Im very Happy with my purchase, Thank you
RaspundeBill,
I've been wearing this belt over 7 years, every day. It holds up well, is stiff enough to carry my 1911 inside the waist band and is very comfortable. Nice classic look. I will buy again!
RaspundeGreg,
I have owned several of these belts and would have no other.Since I wear the belt all the time with concealed carry, I have found it to support my sidearm quite well. Over time the hole that is used most often will stretch, but I get several years use before having to replace.
RaspundeKevin,
Bought this belt a few years ago at Gander Mountain. Wear it every day with both IWB and OWB holsters and my Springfield Sidearms. Could not be more satisfied with the durability of it.It is finally wearing out at the holes where the buckle adjusts. I am putting too much stress on it, the Permastiff insert is finally giving way. I bought an XL, should have bought a 2XL. Have ordered a 2XL replacement, I am sure it will be very good!
RaspundeJoseph 5.,
Good, comfortable. Strong & tough not stiff. Conforms well. Hidden hand cuff key. Works good if your hand cuffed behind your back but realistically holds a couple of $20 bills secretly, discreetly.
RaspundeDavid,
do not expect this belt to last more then a year. stitching became frayed almost immediately, leather is showing signs of wear (looks like tiny fish scales), final straw was realizing that a screw was now missing from belt loop. Yes i wear this belt everyday, thought that was the expectations.
RaspundeKimmee,
I received my belt yesterday size XL and thought it would maybe be to long but its only about an inch longer than my belts. I started to order the L but I read you should order up because they run small.Measured it against my husbands belt and its the same size hes a size 44w in pants so he could wear it. I would order again but in a large.
RaspundeBenjamin,
Bought my belt roughly 5+ years ago. Has lasted me pretty well. I read alot of the other reviews here and I feel either they bought lemons or the quality has dropped since I bought mine. The only issue I have had is over the last year the holes have been stretching long with the insert pulling through but I have been wearing this belt daily so a lot of use both as a daily normal use and concealed carry. There is some normal wear were I rubbed up against things, I do carpentry as well so I was not concerned about that, it was expected.Sorry to see so many disappointed consumers but my experience has been good and as expected. I will be buying another belt soon to replace this one and if the quality has dropped then I will add a new review or edit this one this one.
RaspundeUncle J.,
Two of these, both 8 years old, still going strong. I always change into sweatpants after I come home so between a pair of pants and shorts, I sometimes change 4-5 times a day. That's a lot of bending but the insert is still intact.
RaspundeBill,
It started off great. But soon, the metal insert literally broke in two and then the leather wore out. It was promoted as "The last belt you will ever need to buy". Guess not.
RaspundeJokers K.,
The first belt I have had last longer than a year, holds up to my Harley belt buckle like no other belt I have owned...
RaspundeJoseph,
I am truly a fan of the 5.11 dressbelt. As many have stated in other reviews the permastiff insert is outstanding for supporting concealed carry tools and EDC items. The ultimate flaw is it tends to break at the hole you wear it most. I'm on my third one. I can't say that I'm getting a year out of each one using it literally ever day. But maybe 9-10 months per belt, even after it cracks before I absolutely have to ditch it. Wish 5.11 could find that happy medium on the leather dress belts between rigidity and insert durability.
RaspundeStevan,
The belt is stiff and does a good job of carrying a holster/gun but the finish is junk and has worn off far to quickly. The actual construction of the belt is durable enough but I bought this type of belt (rather than a web belt) for the looks, so I can dress up a little more with it and the look is the first thing to start failing on it.
RaspundeDavid,
I wanted to like this belt, but I can't. The belt is plenty stiff for carrying my heavy frame pistol in a holster. However, the leather is not durable and very prone to wear and scratching during normal use. I wear this belt as my everyday casual belt, and I use it for carry 3-4 times per month. Within 6 months the belt was completely scratched up. I like the belt insert. It makes this belt nice and stiff. If it was a durable leather product I could rate it 5 stars. As it is 5.11 needs to completely re-visit the outer construction of this belt.
RaspundeJames,
I have had this belt for 3 months now. At first look into loved it, looked well built felt sturdy great for conceal carry. It does support a firearm well but the quality of finish is terrible. After 2 weeks one of the buttons that hold the buckle blew out so I've been careful not to lose the other one that is left the black is worn off the belt all around where my holster sits and is also showing severe wear around the rest of the belt. I am very disappointed in this product.
RaspundeKelly,
I had high hopes with my 511 belt, but was very disappointed when it prematurely fell apart after only a couple months. It is not solid leather and even my cell phone belt clip damaged the inner layer.
RaspundeChristopher,
I own this belt in black and brown, for about 6 years now. The black looks almost like the day I bought it and the brown is finally getting replaced.I broke the Kydex insert by loosing a lot of weight and the amount of belt I had to force through the buckle and loop finally snapped the Kydex. So I'm buying another one.For those who complain about the dye rubbing off, if you polish your belts like you polish your shoes the dye will hold up, that is if you actually polish your shoes.
RaspundeCobbler,
I haven't purchased this belt yet but for those saying the dye isn't good, here is what you can do. Having been a shoe repairman for 39 years, I feel I can tell you how to make that finish much better. Go to your local shoe repair shop and buy a bottle of Lincoln brand dye in brown. It will darken the leather but be a rich brown tone. Do it in an outdoor or garage environment so as not to fumigate family members. The odor is strong but very tolerable. Put two coats on allowing 24 hrs. drying in between coats. After the second coat let dry as before. You'll see a bronze casting look on the belt. No worries. Just take a clean cloth and rub it very well. It will be gone. Let the dye cure for several days before wearing and feast buff it prior to wearing. The fibers are now totally penetrated with the color, not top finish dyed. When it shows wear down the road repeat with one coat. Hope this helps someone.
RaspundeDamian J.,
Permastiff insert inherently flawed causing cotton stitching to break/separate leather halves on belt.
RaspundeReese2,
Had belt about 2 months and wear daily. The area where I draw the belt through the buckle show signs of the dye wearing off as it is cracking. I have other "gun belts" I've had for many years and never showed this type of wear until they were very old. Cheap Chinese crap. No more 511 gear for me. Hope no one's life depends on it!
RaspundeCallbacknull,
Have had this belt for 4 years now and it's been the only belt I've owned. Fantastic belt that's held up longer than all other belts I've owned before it. Leaving this review because I'm finally back to order a few more.
Raspunde220combat,
After using this belt for concealed carry for three months the stiffener broke at the hole I use and in the first couple of weeks the poorly stapled leather that holds the tail of the belt was broke.
RaspundeCasey,
I wear this belt most days. It's very sturdy and has a nice, clean look. It supports my full size concealed carry weapon and in two years, has not sagged with carrying nearly every day. I have one of each color so I can wear it with most outfits. Only downside I have had with the belt is that the insert will break at the hole you use the most. It doesn't limit the functionality of the belt, but it looks a bit funky if you use the next smallest hole. Cuff key is a bit difficult to get out of the holder, but you can get it out with a little wiggling.
RaspundeAnonymous,
I use this for everyday use in a business professional and casual atmosphere. The stiffness was surprising and is great for securing my IWB Crossbreed holster. Overall it is very comfortable. It takes a few days to break in.
RaspundePlanrdude,
I bought my first 5.11 belt of this type six years ago as a holster belt. after a couple of years the black belt was looking scuffed so I bought two more(black and brown) for holester wear and moved this one to work wear. After four years of sliding across Jet fighters and getting who knows what on it daily, it started to come unsewn. It's replacement could only have been another 5.11 tactical belt.
RaspundeJeff,
Had to round the buckle with a dremel.Plastic lining broke around holes.Bonded leather(man made)backing wears badly.Thought it was all real leather when I bought them.Thread for stitching breaks.Replaced both belts with 100% real leather belts. In short find a belt maker or company that uses all real quality leather.
RaspundeMark,
I have several of these belts in different colors. The belts themselves are good - the buckle is another matter. The action of pulling the belt back to engage the buckle causes the belt to start breaking down within a couple of months!! See other reviews in the 1.75" belt about the feeling that it is broken in two. The Signature Belt Buckle does help to get around this problem as you don't have to bend the belt back to engage. I've heard that this buckle is now discontinued ([...] appears to have bought the remaining stock). What I'd like to see is another version of the Signature Belt Buckle in a non-metallic (ceramic, synthetic material?) configuration for those times you have to go through an airport and want to have a more business-professional look without having to take it off at the inspection area!
RaspundeLocation C.,
I used the belt almost daily off duty with an inside the pant clip holster. Within a month the man-made leather that lines the edges of the belt tore to shreds exposing the white plastic liner, a couple of weeks later the stitches began breaking and my belt looks like it should be tossed out.The belt's interior, which is a strong plastic keeps it's shape really well, and helps keep my baby Glock concealed.Overall, it works, but thank goodness my shirt covers the belt, because it looks horrible. Far from 5.11's best work, and I own a fair amount of 5.11 products.
RaspundeNra M.,
First weekend wearing it and it really helps distribute the weight of a full steel frame pistol, works great looks great and looks durable. I expect many years of service, but maybe I better order another one now since it took almost 3 weeks to get here
RaspundeMaximaldamage,
I bought my first 5.11 Casual belt several years ago to support my holster when I carried concealed. It quickly became my favorite belt for almost anytime. I have recently lost some weight and had to order another one. It's a great belt and I highly recommend it.
RaspundeFf/Emt L.,
I wear this belt every day and it was the best belt I have ever owned until I went from the second to last hole, to the last hole. After use at the last hole the insert broke making the end of the belt very flimsy. A new cell phone holster rubbed all the finish off the belt in a matter of hours. I could not find a tougher belt with the same look to replace mine so I am buying this belt again.
RaspundeJosh,
Very nice and comfortable belt. It has a nice stiff backbone that is still flexible and comfortable to wear all day. Can't wait to see how it wears in two years from now. Thanks
RaspundeGaodawei,
I bought this belt twice and each time had the same issue. Where I clip on my badge and where my holster sit, the upper stitches break down and the string then starts to unravel and the belt falls apart.
RaspundeDoc,
easily scratched with holster clip or cellphone case clip.Quality not as good as 5 years ago.
RaspundeB,
Perfect for plain clothes or concealed carry, belt is not bulky/thick like some other belts. Belt will not flex like some others and it actually looks nice. I recommend buying a brown and black. Can be worn with casual clothes and also with a suit.
RaspundeKd,
I am not a law enforcement officer or military or former military. Just your average citizen. But I have begun carrying concealed within the past year. After hearing what I thought was a bunch of hype about needing a good belt for my holster, I decided to give this one a try. Amazing! I am still astounded at the difference between a typical wimpy-limpy belt and the 5.11 Tactical belt! Truly helpful in "comfortably" carrying my Ruger P95, a heavy gun when fully loaded. But this belt makes it possible to carry it in relative comfort and solidly against my body. A great product, highly recommended. Well built, very sturdy and stiff. My other belt feels like a piece of 1/2 inch cotton rope around my waist compared to this belt. Had it not been made in China, I would have given it 5 stars. But that is no reflection on the craftsmanship of this product.
RaspundeFamous D.,
Have worn this belt daily for well over a year, both at work (commercial A/C mechanic) and at home. Holds up better than any other belt I can remember, here buying another to have as a standby.
RaspundeRobb,
I use this belt when I wear a suit to court (couple times a month.)It holds my holster tight. The color wears quickly. I wish it was solid color all the way through as opposed to surface dye.
RaspundeAmore,
This thing was truly built like a tank, and nothing i threw on it could possibly bend it. Having pistol holsters, and vest straps, knife sheathes, flashlights, and dump pouches all on it at the same time, and it stood sturdy. Even having a 130LB girlfriend hang from it couldn't budge it, and my belt and pants stayed firmly in place. My only gripe is that after a couple months of wearing it continuously tight (I fell between the small and medium sizes, Got a small, wore it at the largest setting) the stiff insert inside seems to have broken, and now it is more loose, and slightly less stiff. All in All, I still love it, but I may have to buy another.
RaspundeThinking M.,
I carry concealed daily with several different IWB holsters. These belts (I have one in black and one in brown) are without doubt the best platform for any holster I have, whether IWB or OWB, Tyvek or leather.
RaspundeDonn,
I purchased this belt to wear with my holster and mag pouch. After 2 days the second rivet fell off. [...] Women needs these also!
RaspundeBrett,
Bought this best to go with my 5.11 TacLite pants and use off-duty as needed. Belt is heavy duty and exactly what I want and needed. Held up well after 20+ shifts and no break downs or pre-mature wear.
RaspundeMac,
I like it because it is somewhat stiff and not saggy , and therefore tends to keep the front of my pants up rather than sagging below my abdomen
RaspundeRick,
Needed a good sturdy belt to hang holster, cuff and mag pouch case on along with cell phone.I am a detective in a small municipality north of Philadelphia. Purchased a black belt with stiching over 2 years ago. No problems. Made me purchase one of the plain brown belts. First time a wore it the equipment put scratch marks all over the belt. [...]Same problem with the replacement. The brown dye does not go all the way through the leather. The belt looks to bad to wear on duty anymore.
RaspundeThe B.,
Average daily use of this belt has resulted in the liner breaking at the male end of the belt. Lining this belt with a heavy cordura or nylon ribbon would give incredible support, and would alleviate the cracking.Much lower quality than I expect from 5.11, especially for the money shelled out...
RaspundeDan,
Bought this when I got promoted to Detective to wear with suits. Had the belt for less than 3 months when the top and bottom leather started wearing out causing the plastic insert to show. Belt did provide a stable platform when wearing my pistol.
RaspundeTom D.,
This belt is my new daily-use belt. It fits great, looks good, and looks like it is really going to last a long time. I don't think I could be happier with this product.
RaspundeWillyp,
BEAUTIFUL LOOKING BELT WHEN WORN FIRST TIME, SUPPORTS PADDLE OR BELT LOOP HOLSTER WELL. AFTER PULLING THROUGH BUCKLE AND FASTENING 2-3 TIMES, BUCKLE EDGE SCRAPES FINISH NEAR BUCKLE REQUIRING EITHER CONSTANT RE-APPLICATION OF POLISH OR RELEGATING IT TO UNDER SHIRT USE BECAUSE IT IS TOO UNSIGHTLY FOR DRESS WEAR OR WITH COAT AND TIE FOR COURT. RE-MACHINING OR RE-DESIGNING BUCKLE WOULD SOLVE PROBLEM AND I WOULD BUY MORE OF THEM. HAVE ORDERED A 5.11 STITCHED DRESS BELT TO SEE IF IT IS OF BETTER DESIGN AND QUALITY
RaspundeMidwest M.,
Good, solid belt suitable for supporting a modest amount of gear (weapon, spare mags, cuffs, etc.).
RaspundeLj45,
Absolutly perfect thickness. I have quit using all of my other belts and will probalby order a brown one next.
