Justine C.,
I purchased my last 5.11 Double Duty belt 11 years ago and it is still holding up well. Consequently, when I wanted a new color in a new size in a heavy duty belt, I went back to the well.
RaspundeSMD,
I have several of these and they work well for EDC of a Large Frame pistol and Safariland Mag pouch. They don't roll over under the added weight like thinner single layer belts do. Just be sure your pant belt loops can handle the 1.75" width. I have no issue with the buckle, it works fine. Only issue I see is that while on sale currently for $32, that is NOT a sale price for a belt...
RaspundeLarry W.,
Very good belt; only comment is it can be a challenge to get snug enough but strong feeling
RaspundeRJ,
Bought an XL but once I tried it at home I realized there was way too much wrap around, even interfering w my holster. I wear 37" or 38" pants from most mfgrs and 36" Stryke pants from 5. 11.
RaspundeNorman M.,
Good belt. Buckle is heavy, and webbing in center of belt buckle sticks out (prints) because belt is so thick (it is what it is). Belt does run short, and I don't know what size to order. I have "large" & "extra-large", both marked #59567, and now a 3 extra-large, which is longer than I want, but still usable. I'm going to order a 2 extra-large next. I use this belt for a full-size pistol & holster, I like that I don't have to pull this belt very tight to support my holster (more comfortable that way). Have a good day!
RaspundeSergiu G.,
I have three such belts in my collections and I am very pleased
RaspundeMark B.,
I was really impressed with this belt. Takes practice cinching it through the buckle (fastener) but then youre set. Easy to adjust if needed. Like the previous poster it is now my go-to belt in all situations.nThis is my second one as Ive misplaced my first one.
RaspundeDavid G.,
THE BELT IS TOO STIFF. I LOSE SOME WAIST WHEN I PUTTING IT ON.
RaspundeKevin S.,
Incorrect Size. Store tag indicates a Large size, which I ordered. The manufacturer's size on the belt is an X-Large. How do I return??
RaspundeWaleed S.,
good quality good materials, strong, reliable, the only issue is a little bit harder to buckle it up, hoping in the future the company ( 5.11 ) will design better and easy buckle for the belt
RaspundeGREGORY C.,
Good strong belt, very stiff though, take a while tho break it in.
RaspundeThomas M.,
How the belt is constructed is excellent, from the stitching to the dipped and cut end, making it very convenient for how quick you can put the belt on. One thing to note, if you wear it on one side/color only, it will curl like other belts. for this reason I flip to the tan side a couple times a week, and it keeps the belt straight. I would deffinitly recommend this item for an all purposes belt, and for the cost it's a bargain!! Infact don't let the cost fool you, it's cheaper than some of the others, and I prefer it to any belt I own!!
RaspundeScott M.,
A very durable design and strong in function. I added this belt to my purchase for use with the taclite pants and shorts I ordered. I find myself not using it very often due to how hard it is to get it to slide and "buckle". It's always too loose since you can't give it a pull to cinch it up. I would not get a belt like this again though.
RaspundePeter H.,
I live a very demanding life, my gear, clothing, and footwear have to endure the elements. I am satisfied with this belt, however it seems to be a bit small to size (M) I wear 32 waist. Other then that it works well.
RaspundeJason c.,
Fantastic bought to replace a 1.5 holds weight better material is thick outstanding
RaspundeMichael C.,
Belt is perfect and has a strong build construction. Perfect thickness for a fit of high comfort degree.
RaspundeRoger S.,
Great sturdy build and versatility with the two-in-one color scheme, and easy to adjust when I eat too much!
Raspunde1 persoana a considerat acest review util!
Roberta S.,
I purchased these for my husband for Christmas and he is very pleased with both. He likes that the belt is reversible, too.
RaspundeJason S.,
Great belt! I like the 1.75 size and that it can be reversed.
RaspundeZachariah F.,
Much lighter and thinner Than the old Versions which I didnt like at first but this lightweight belt is just as good.
RaspundeKevin R.,
Very firm, ridged belt. Belly doesnt roll pants over. Firm hold for holsters, exterior and IWB. Double sided is useful to avoid rest loop shape curve.
RaspundeMatthew P.,
Only thing I can find wrong is there isnt a posted weight limit as a strap, ie:5000 lbs.nNot planning on using as a tow strap, but potentially could be used as a harness to lift a 500 lb man in a pinch. No idea what the buckle is rated for
RaspundeWes,
Love this belt, it is solid and durable for reversible wear. Rigid and comfortable with a full load or casual wear. I have had mine for years and only need to buy another one for the new green color or a gift that lasts.
RaspundeJames H.,
Solid feeling adjustable comfort, very functional way to keep your pants up!
RaspundeMark W.,
Pants run true to size, fit well. Per your recommendation ordered belt next size up. It gives me plenty of room for iwb holster.
RaspundeChris S.,
This belt is very heavy duty-perfect if you are someone who carries tools/gear/firearms on their belt. This belt wont sag or roll due to it's double layer construction. Very nice.
RaspundeGhost T.,
trucking last 20 years bought this belt 3 years ago. its now starting to split at stitches joining them in certain section, but not going any further and still holding strong.
RaspundeAnthony,
Great belt size is good and it does not adjust throughout the day. I am a firefighter so i'm up and down out of the rig a lot and bending over a lot on calls at always stays in place
RaspundeJim,
At first it's stiff but I've been wearing mine for years. Takes clip on holsters and accessories with minimal wear. Two color is a bonus. And the price is certainly reasonable for something that will last longer than I will.
RaspundeAlex,
I love this belt without a doubt, I use it for work with my taclite pro pants and taclite pro shorts and for airsoft to hold up holsters, dump pouches and mag pouches. however there are a couple of things that you should know before buying it. when you are trying to put on the belt when you pull to tighten it, it slips a little so you don't get the fit you want on the first try, you need to keep messing with it for the perfect fit. something else you should know is with other belts the recommend that you get a size up, how ever I didn't do this, BUT YOU SHOULD, THE BELT SHRINKS OVER TIME WITH USE so eventually it will become to short I have a few of these belts and my oldest one is shorter by an inch or so
RaspundeChance,
Does exactly what I wanted from this belt. Wouldn't buy the regular TDU belt if your carrying a sidearm. The double duty is thicker and stiffer and can hold up the weight of a pistol great. Buckel doesn't set off metal detectors, which is great for the courthouse, police/sheriff office or when I have a contract for work as a guard. Good for casual dress.
RaspundeRonald,
When I first bought I had thought it would be a part time belt and now it is my go to belt for every day. I have seen it said that this belt is hard to thread into belt loops but I have not found that problem at all. The belt is very stiff at the start but does loosen just a bit in time. I have been wearing it every day since January 2016 bought it November 2015 as a test and review item I was asked by subs to review. I find it to have just the right thickness to hold my 1911s, M&Ps, Glocks and other guns with. Holsters or sheaths stay put and the belt does not sag or give with the weight of a firearm. I also carry a Multi-Tool, phone, spare magazine and a light. This belt has not gave a inch with all I carry on it. I highly recommend it to any and everyone looking for a affordable and well constructed belt that looks great and fits beautifully. If carry in the waist hit the next size up from your waist size to have a little play room. I did that and still is perfect. Got my wife one in the Tan and she wanted the exact size her IWB is very snug and has no give. Word of caution to those wanting to carry iwb get a size larger. As of this time this, The Double Duty TDU is the best belt I own
RaspundeJager,
Been wearing this belt for just over 2 years and its still going strong. I wear it for everyday applications as well as at work under my duty belt. The velcro has frayed a little bit of the side but not much, which I'm surprised at.
RaspundeRanger,
I have purchased many items from this company with all good results, except from this belt, this belt constantly slips during activities I'm not really impressed and its not worth the money, maybe adding a Velcro section at the end to assist in the keeping of it from moving.
RaspundeMedic12,
I have owned and worn this belt everyday for the past 6 months (minus a handful). Including work were I wear a radio and other tools. I also carry just about everyday. And this belt is holding up great. Does not loosen, has remained very stiff, and shows very little signs of wear. GREAT BELT"
RaspundeTropic T.,
Very strong, solid belt. Will hold up to pretty much anything you put it through. Works great with 5.11 Tactical Pants (any and all). Perfect for concealed carry of firearms, ammunition and knives. Plastic buckle = great for air travel. Can't say anything bad about it! Definitely recommend for anyone interested in tactical clothing.
RaspundeCombat H.,
This belt holds a gun in place without sacrificing comfort or looking like police issue. I couldn't be happier.
RaspundeTactical L.,
This is a great product for everyday use and for any special occation. It is built very sturdy and so it will easily support the extra weight of a firearm or any other tool that you may carry.
RaspundeGumball,
I have had this belt for a few weeks now and it has turned out to be everything I hoped it would be. I had been looking for a gun belt that would support my Glock 19 in a N82 tactical professional series holster (IWB). Most leather belts I had been usuing would stretch and sag and not fit well if I wasn't carrying concealed. I am a federal employee and sadly I am not allowed to carry at work. However, as soon as I am off work I arm myself as soon as I can. So i needed a belt that would be easily ajustible. This belt fits the bill perfectly. Since I have been using it for CHL i have not had to adjust my weapon at my hip once. Once you cinch down the belt it stays where you put it. The strength of the belt is impressive. If I'm at work its very easy to just tighten the belt a little more to accomidate for not having a IWB holster. The only slight downside to this belt is the buckle. It takes a little while to get the hang of tighening it all the way. Once you figure it out though its perfect and stays where you cinch it.
RaspundeVic,
This belt is difficult to tighten as you lose weight you need to tighten but as you try, it moves.
RaspundeJc,
Comfortable and light. Not as rigid as the trainer belts which makes it more forgiving on the hips when wearing all day. Good for every day use if you carry concealed. I do recommend getting one size up. Belt fits so well that it may not have extra slack if you carry IWB
RaspundePapa,
Comfortable to wear everyday. Wife even likes how the belt looks - a first!!
RaspundeMax,
I use this belt everyday-its had a lot of thought put into its design and its execution. Pretty much what' ve come to expect from 511.
RaspundeEa H.,
This belt is great but I would recommend getting 2 sizes larger than normal. The extra belt would not matter because it does not use holes or a traditional buckle.
RaspundeOstilio,
I'm really enjoying my brand new belt. I really think is comfortable and stylish. On the other side, it can be worn with different color pants since it can be used both sides. The only thing I wish it would have come with a metal buckle instead of a plastic one.
RaspundeCoop,
Looks great and is very strong. I do recommend getting one size up. It goes great with my Taclite Pro Pants or my PDU Class A Twill Pants. The plastic buckle is nice when traving for sure.
RaspundeMike M.,
Just got mine in the mail yesterday, it works great, I mainly got it for work, but I also use it for everyday wear. it goes well with all my pants; jeans, BDU's, AND ofcourse the 5.11 TDU pant. It works exceptionally well with my duty belt. I think the only con I would say about it (And this goes with all belts with this buckle style) is that its a bit tricky to adjust, however once it is adjusted it doesn't loosen even the slightest.Overall I love it!! great job 5.11
RaspundeJon,
This belt is fantastic! It very thick so it doesn't deform, it keeps my IWB holster and Sig P229 exactly where I put it without shifting at all, even after a long day. Don't let the plastic buckle scare you, they are extremely durable and the stitching on them is very heavy. On a side note, the fact that it is reversible is a fantastic touch as well. It allows them to be slightly less conspicuous and doesn't draw attention to the fact that I am carrying. I would highly recommend these belts to anyone looking for something that allows you to comfortably carry all day discreetly.
RaspundeGumpy,
I use this belt for casual wear. Unlike the operator belt buckle that you can actually cinch down, this buckle design is difficult to get the belt tight. You have to pull the belt tight with one hand while pulling the belt through the buckle with the other hand. It's the 1st belt I've seen that requires a 2 handed operation to get it cinched down.
RaspundeM A.,
First of all this is a well made belt. You will likely not wear it out very fast. I use it for for work and casual everyday wear. It will hold my compact .45 well and not have a problem. My only gripe is the odd way the belt won't get on very snug. Like a previous poster said it requires a 2 hand operation to put on. I'll add that it requires a 2 hand struggle to put on. Even after getting it on you can't get it too snug. Maybe I'm doing something wrong or there's a trick?
RaspundeJ. G.,
Just bought the belt and love it. I recommend it, dont leave home without it.
RaspundeMike,
A perfect belt for everyday use with tactical clothes especially when traveling and do not want to bring two belts.
RaspundeOmar R.,
I am a paramedic. I bought a TDU belt but it was too soft. Wore a SpecOps till now. This belt is much better. Not too stiff not too soft. Extra layer and stiching helps. @ work I wear on my belt a leatherman charge w/ small bit kit in a holster with a monarch 300 light and a fisher space pen. I also have an iPhone 4 in an otterbox defender case and an empty bulldog concealed carry holster. At times I also carry the nextell radio we use for work. Off duty it is the same minus the nextell but plus a keltec P32 in my holster. The belt holds up all of it well.
RaspundeIsrael T.,
I love 1.75" belts because all my pants, shorts support them and they work best with my Fobus paddle holsters. Being reversible is awesome. The best part is the buckle is TSA friendly and for the first time I can glide through the checkpoints and not have to worry about my pants/shorts falling down!
RaspundeHawkeye,
When I bought this I was expecting and looking for a belt that I could use to hold for example...a gun&holster or a machete&sheath. But the belt sagged allot when I tried. It also did not fit. I ordered according to size and it was still 2 small. So if you plan on buying this belt then don't expect it to hold any weight and order a size up. (I am small). I don't know if I was just stupid when expecting it to hold weight but regardless...Very unimpressed. Especially considering this is a 5.11 tactical product. I had very high hopes for this
RaspundeBryan,
Not much to say other than it does the job it claims to do and does it well. Super durable and thick material. Double thickness because of the two colors. Very light overall with plastic buckle. Great for airline travel as there are no metal parts. Definitely recommend. And 5.11 customer service is TOP NOTCH!
RaspundeFalcondriver,
I have this and the operators belt. I prefer the Operators belt for carrying a hostler and I prefer the buckle on the Operators belt. This belt to me gets a poor score with how hard it is to adjust the belt and how far out the buckle and belt sit when worn. I now wear this belt when I am commuting to work in civies as it wont set off the metal detectors.
RaspundeBikesrususa,
Compared to the trainer this belt is not as stiff. It does allow for a comfortable, forgiving wear. Still able to CARRY items adequately. I like to be able to flip the belt for a different color occasionally. There is no loose end retention (velcro). Well worth the the asking price.
RaspundeGman,
I wear and use this belt everyday. Don't let the plastic buckle scare you. It held the belt very well. I used it with a .45 in a paddle holster and it felt very secure.
RaspundeFranchek,
Excellent duo tone reversible belt (black/Olive). Extremely durable, able to support a heavy handgun holster without sagging. Sharp looking, functional, and a very reasonable price. Probably the last belt I will ever own!
RaspundeVitruvian M.,
Great product. I especially like the thicker (double) material. Much firmer to support radios and other comm gear. The reversible function really increases the usage of this product. The buckle stays where you put it and seems not to drift during use. Having had other belts of this type I find it frustrating to always adjust it
RaspundeBob,
Needed a less bulky belt for both paddle and IWB holsters, and one that was lightweight and would wear well with tac pants, jeans and or khaki's. This fit all needs and is very durable. Would like to see it offered in brown.
RaspundeGeorge T.,
As a retired police k9 officer I wish we would have had the 5.11 uniforms rather than BDU's. I now run an animal rescue so these things work great for that and wear like iron.
RaspundeArt,
The original belt was too small. I called 5.11 Customer Service. Within 30 minutes a Return Authorization had been issued, (prepaid) and a new, correct sized repalacement belt was on the way.The Customer Service response was outstanding.
RaspundeDanny M.,
Just like everything else 511 offers this belt is rugged and completely functional. i wear it everyday with my Taclite Pro Pants.

The products were great as always, but one item got canceled by accident and the people went out of their way to make sure I got it anyway. They made a customer for life. 5.11 rocks.
