The clothes are great, practical, and comfortable. However, the site is not. I feel like at times there is a disconnect with the site and the customer. There have been multiple occasions where the site will show an item is on sale at $25.00. I go to add the item to my cart. Only for the price to be somewhere far more expensive than what the price was before I added it to my cart. I don't find this to be user friendly and it is very annoying. I would give 5 stars if I could trust the site.

I love these shorts, I have 4 different colors/pairs. I like how slick the extra pockets around the waist are, they are perfect and natural for putting your wallet or phone. I would highly recommend 5. 11 make these as pants with just a tech pocket on the side. I dont like cargo pockets because they just get cluttered, but a tech pocket is ideal for my safety gloves or notepad.

I like the fit of the shorts. Nice fabric and very comfortable. The only one drawback is just the front pockets can't hold Samsung Galaxy S25 ultra properly.

The Aramis shorts are perfect for everyday use. Comfortable with a great fit. Plenty of pockets and durable. Like the shorts so much I purchased 4 extra pairs

The shorts are stylish and comfortablenEven with an IWB concealed carry. Love all my 5.11 pants shorts and jeans. Pretty much all that I wear.

The fit to these shorts are a bit low waisted compared to the pants that are the same style. other than that they are good. definettly more durable that what i had been wearing from wal-mart.

I really like the 5.11 Aramis shorts, in fact, theyre probably the best EDC shorts Ive tried. First, they look like regular shorts and not BDUs or tactical pants that are cutoff at the knees and hemmed. You can throw on a polo or oxford and no one would be the wiser that your shorts concealed a small arsenal. Both front pockets are cut to allow for a knife clip or any other gadget that has a clip. There are two hip pockets that easily held my iPhone Pro Max. I also easily put 2 Glock 17 mags in one pocket so they would be equally at home at the range. There are 2 easy upgrades I would recommend for 5.11; either put some sort of closure or non-slip material in the back pockets. I felt the need to constantly check that my wallet hadnt fallen out. The second recommendation is that the front pockets be made a little deeper. Finally, I would suggest that 5.11 seriously consider making an Aramis pant. These shorts really are great! Theyre super soft, the fabric doesnt make a swooshing noise when you walk and they look awesome.

Amazing fit and really love these shorts. Just the right length and the material is high-quality. The belt loops are also clearly designed well to support the weight of a holster/firearm. Would definitely recommend and will likely purchase additional pairs!

Fit very well around the waste and hips, quality make, and have very good pockets, including the wallet one.nnOnly complaint is that the leg holes are a bit tight, as if they were designed for someone who skips leg day. They don't have to be JNCO jeans, but you could take blood from the veins that pop out when I squeeze into these.

I like the fit, they stretch enough to allow me to carry appendix if I want. The pockets are pretty shallow. Phone falls out if I'm sitting and sticks out the top of the pocket when standing. I would guess the pocket is 5 inches deep. Button is held on with a cloth strap, which I'm not too confident in durability wise but time will tell.

If you love the pants, youll love the shorts. Great feel fit and look and of course all the pockets. I am accustomed to from 511 products. Theyre just cooler because theyre shorter.

True to size: 36 waist (62/220/age40) Good regular fit khaki shorts. Dont look high speed. Lightweight material is good for hot summer days. Extra pockets are low profile and virtually invisible. Great for iPhone or extra mags.

Great looking shorts... however, the main front pockets are pretty short. Can't even carry my phone w/out it wanting to fall out every time I sit down. Button close top feels much cheaper than the usual 5.11 snaps/buttons do. Love the color but had I tried these on in the store I would not have purchased. These were an online buy.

They feel great. Good amount of pockets. The only negative side about these is they start fading sooner than later and theyre obviously not great for wicking sweat. So good luck with the area between the back pockets. Especially with the lighter color ways

Comfortable shorts with some great edc features, but none of the look of a "tactical short". I got the blue ones, a nice change of color from the more common khaki, browns, or camo.

6' x 165 lbs dude. Bought these shorts to blend in with the crowd and have some additional kit capacity with the extra back pockets. It meets that objective well. nnFit is nice for a skinny dude without tree trunk quads. Colorway options are as expected with a few surprising moves into the Martha Stewart zone. Maybe we'll eventually see a reddish colorway in the lineup to match up with the blue for those suburbanite slob days. Goes well with a polo, button-down, tshirt, and some loafers. You can get away with running in them if needed, but they're definitely not for hoop-jumping. nnMaterial is decent. Doesn't feel too cheap, but not ironclad. Expectation management: if you want something bulletproof with the same look and fit, then you're going to have to pay more for something custom. These meet the balance between style and function at this price point. Don't be a Karen with demands.nnIf you're looking for something with some extra pockets for kit that fits in with the crowd and that you can dress up a bit, this is a great option.

I needed shorts for concealed carry. I went two sizes up and it was way too big. So, I went with one size up and it fits great with my enigma and my blue alpha hybrid belt. What really got me was the AR mag packets at the 4 o'clock and 8 o'clock positions. I have them on my pants(defender flex jeans) but none on my shorts, and I use them to carry my phone and extra mag. The material also are similar to my other shorts with a cotton blend so it's not so heavy or rough on the skin. I love the casual/grayman look, rather than the tactical look when going with the family to dine out, or go to the park, or the mall. Now, we just need more colors! Like ranger green!

I tried these out as something different to what I normally wear. I have been wearing the Apex 11 short (I know, cargo shorts, with all those pockets, who needs friends, right) but these are made from cotton which I found is more comfortable and breathes a lot better than the synthetic poly blend of the apex shorts. I live in the south and sweat enough as it is. The fit and sizing seems to be the same and as expected. They stretch, they flex. Theyre still new but Im sure the quality is also as expected. Ive had a pair of apex as well as the jeans for years with no issues. Would be nice if 5.11 made the Apex shorts out of cotton instead of poly. The only downside to these particular shorts is the front pockets are just a bit on the shallow side.
