Great grab and go bag. Fills in for quick range trips or when going out and about to throw in the back seat. Conceals a pistol well. Works great when Im working out to hold everything I dont have pockets for.
Bought this to compliment my 2-Banger bag when I need a little more caring capacity. The 2-Banger has held up well and I'm expecting the same with this bag.
Used this recently on a trip to Russia and the Baltic States to carry my Fuji Camera and 2 lenses. Placed the items in 2 6x6 padded pouches (which fit quite nicely inside the main compartment.) It was raining while I was there and the bag kept all the gear dry.Size was permissible in most museums that require you to check your bag at the cloakroom. Also went through security checkpoints at the Kremlin and Lenin's Mausoleum without fuss. Will definitely recommend to others.
I picked up this bag from the prize table at the CO 3-Gun championships in 2017, thinking it might be useful as a runaround bag for when I'm at trade shows and such. It has filled that role great (fits in my carry-on and holds my tac-pen, flashlight, extra business cards, a bottle of water, and anything else I might need for the day when i'm traveling)- but, what really amazed me was its legitimate performance as a downrange gear carrier. At the Wyoming Tactical Rifle Championship this year (2018) I decided to use it instead of a full-on pack, since the stages are 2 miles long with 7-9 shooting positions along the way. As the carbine shooter, I've got to get good wind calls for my rifle-shooter teammate, which sometimes requires extra shots and therefore more ammo- well this thing really will hold 4 mags securely along with my Steiner rangefinding binos, Kestrel meter, and a bottle of water, with room to spare for a basic toolkit/spare BCG. The sling pad was comfortable, and the waist strap kept the whole thing from bouncing around too much against my rear as we're running from station to station. Only thing I'll caution about is when running fully loaded like that, *don't* use the velcro to hold your mags in- not because they'll fall out (they won't) but because the noise of velcro pulling apart with EVERY SINGLE STEP when the front of the bag is loaded is incredibly aggravating!! Once I attached the bungee straps for the 2nd day of shooting, things got *much* better, and the mags were just as easy to access.
Very happy with this bag. Nothing else like it. I use this as my bail out bag. I carry 4 ar 15 Magzines where the flash bangs were designed to go. On the inside main pocket I carry 3 spare mags, added a hook and loop magazine holder. IFAK, gloves and radio. On the two smaller zipper compartments I carry extra batteries, head lamp and other small things. As far as instructions go for the bungi loop it wasnt hard at all trying to figure how to tie them properly.
nice bag! really nice! good looking as fashion bag on life.i can put a hydration pack in side :D That's fit!oh yes, please put a manual inside the bag, some of the little designs are difficult to understand, like the short velcro strap in the back pocket.or some tactical videos else... whatever.
