It's a great bag even when not using it as a firearm support bag. nThe magazine pouches in the back are the perfect sizes for holding a phone and a battery. nThe main interior pouch is very roomy and the attachment points are great for organizing inside. The large open space easily fits everything you need for the day / edc tools / lunch. nnThe smaller exterior pocket is perfectly sufficient for a wallet/ keys small bits for lip balm.nnthe repositionable straps are perfect for even using this as a hip bag. nnHighly recommend getting additional pouches to attach via the molle on the sides to expand storage as needed. nnfyi if you're looking for replacement clips for the strap, they're 2" gatekeeper clips.
This bag appears made of good quality. It's a little bit smaller than I had hoped for but, surprisingly, I was able put put evrything I wanted into the bag. I still need to purchase two more items to go into the bag, it will be tight, but i think I can make them fit. Overall I like the bag. It will serve it's purpose.
I've owned two of these bags for a couple years now. Not sure why others can't fit a full size pistol in theirs. I have my full size P227, holster and 4 mags inside one of mine. The other one houses a Ruger 2245 with muzzle break. I like keeping a couple of 5. 56 mags in each bag I own in case I need to grab my designated shtf implement, in this case a 14. 5" 5. 56. I can do without the secondary nylon strap but it is removable. Great bags all around.
Love this Bag. wish it was just a smidge larger to carry my Full Size in there. ni carry 2 radios and two ear sets for them for me and my wife in case we need to spereate. also carrie my backup phone and my power bank and keys and mini light and bluetooth ear buds. Great EDC bag to keep in the truck. I got the 5. 11 glove pouch and the 5. 11 sunglass bag on the ends of the bag. stick a few bandaids and snack bars and your set.
This bag has exceeded all expectations by me. I'm able to hold a bodyguard 2. 0 in the holster pouch additional attachment with 2 mags, trauma shears, stun gun, and pepper gel.nAlong with my wallet, and in the "2 banger" mag pouch area I keep a trauma kit. I have it setup more as an EDC bag than anything else, my phone stays in the netted rear pocket.nThis bag has plenty of molle webbing and hook and loop setups. Even of this bag won't work for your desired needs, I'm confident you could find an amazing purpose for this item. Would recommend highly
I bought this as a Christmas present for my son who is a deputy sheriff. He likes to camp in. This will help me rest assured, knowing that he is able to protect his family while he is away. I have had one for several years and it is absolutely awesome
Bought this because I wanted a tool pouch that I could quickly move from front to side to back. Along with some decent organization. It slings around quickly and delivers well on that end.nSadly the zippers and not quite high quality enough and failed after about 6 months of daily 5 days a week. nIf they made a velcro version I think it would be perfect. but the zippers just don't hold up. And ti be fair, I go in the zippers 50+ times a day.
holds copious amounts of ammo, great bag design around ammo storage! I live remotely and often carry rifle and pistol and this bag is great for the times I am not wearing ammo on a vest. Easy to draw ammo from, and tertiary firearm storage is a plus. great small form factor bag that carry's a solid amount of ammo.
Back pouch is only good for AR mags. Not sure why you would need AR mags in a CC bag and it's too small to be field bag. Elastic in the main compartment is basically worthless. It's too high, too flimsy, and the spacing is too wide for a single mag and too narrow for two mags. I plan on securing a scrap of a sturdy belt to the Velcro side, so I can attach my holster and double mag holder. If you are going to advertise it as a CC bag, you might consider putting a little more thought into how you would secure your firearm. I wish that you made a version that isn't trying to pretend to be a military field bag, so you could where it with advertising to everyone that you are carrying a firearm. It's small, simple, and appears to be well made. For the price I'm not disappointed.
It doesnt really fit my full frame pistol as well as I hoped it would (Five-seveN), but it does fit. The draw for the pistol is Nice as well the mag placement. The MOLLE straps have made it quite a nice EDC bag for concealed carry.
Excellent quality, the strap is especially comfortable (even when hauling heavy loads). The secondary strap didnt reach across my midsection as shown in the pictures (I am a 54 150lbs female), which was odd, but it didnt stop me from using the bag. I just tied the extra buckles with the shoulder strap so they wouldnt dangle. 5.11 was responsive and helpful with my order, and they quickly replaced the missing patch I had ordered with the bag. I would recommend this back to friends and family should they ask. 5/5 stars
The strap is too thick, and the bag itself is good quality but does not fit very much inside of the two pockets. There is enough room for a standard IFAK and a couple misc irems
I use this bag primarily as an active shooter response bag. Carries extra mags that Ill need in the event I need to respond quickly while Im on duty as an LEO. Bag is easy to put on and take off. nnWhen Im off duty I carry my service weapon and a couple extra mags in it, which it does well. nnI took 2 starts off because the bag states it can carry 2x .556 and 2x pistol mags in the large opening closest to the body, there is no way thats possible, its just too tight for that. nnTypical 5.11 quality though, its a nice rig. Ill just have to keep looking for one that fits my needs, which ultimately means spending more money.
Every product Ive ever purchased from 511 is industry standard. However my last online purchase went sour. I purchased a rifle strap to find out that the product is no longer manufactured. A generic apology was made and never refunded me the money. If this means they dont want my business anymore, message received(Lima Charlie).
Got this to carry my wallet phone and some essentials. Love it for holding my EDC items. Light and portable, ability to hold 4 rifle mags and 2 pistol mags as well as EDC knife and compact handgun. I wouldn't carry a full size. It would fit but the weight would be a bit much. Only complaint is the included bungee cords had no instructions and there's no clip on the main strap. The website has bungee instructions but they are not made for the 2 banger. Otherwise very happy with this for an EDC platform. Just don't carry one in the pipe while off body carry, as seems dangerous to kids.
