Couldn’t and ask for a better pair of shorts or pants they look great you can come in off the trail. Go shopping. Go get something to eat like I said they’re functional on the trail and still look good weather be shopping having lunch an early dinner run errands, etc. and the quality of these garments is unbelievable. I am literally on a trail with three dogs every day through streams over logs scooting over things picking up dogs and they are durable they hold up they look incredible.

These are nice work/tactical style shorts. Fit great and comfortable. The Tundra cool is more of a green/brown cool than expected.

I own four pairs of the original Ridge Shorts (10. 5"?) and love them. I purchased three more pair of the 9. 5" to wear during the hotter months. Same great fit and quality but the two front pockets are a full two inches shorter than the original pockets making these shorts useless for front pocket concealed carry. So disappointing and so unnecessary.

I feel like 5. 11 made these shorts for me. They fit me PERFECT! They are heavy duty without the feel of work shorts. Great pockets. They look great! I can't recommend these enough!!

I've been rotating through these shorts exclusively since discovering them. They are stretchy, sturdy, and have plenty of room for stuff without screaming CARGO PANTS. I like the double button. I like how they are longer than other 5.11 shorts. The one drawback to these is that the hip pocket, the cell phone/magazine/pocket knife pocket that we all know and love 5.11 for, ARE NOT LOCATED AT THE HIP, instead they are further rear, as in almost above the back pocket. This mean, the cell phone is almost getting crushed in certain scenarios. I have no less than a dozes 5.11 pants and at least 6 pairs of shorts. Only the Ridge shorts and pants put the hip pocket so far back rather than at the hip.

These fit great, unlike the Icon shorts that I returned. These have more room in the hips than the Icon Short. Also, the internal cargo pocket holds my Samsung 22 phone perfectly, nice bonus.

The Ridge Short is the most comfortable of other tactical shorts I have worn for years for casual wear. If there were one thing I would recommend would be to modify the front pockets. This is the first 511 Product that i have had trouble with pocket change falling out in my recliner and even the car key fob while in the car.

The shorts quality was expected, pretty much like anything 5.11 . The issue for we was that these shorts ran a little tighter than the other 5.11 shorts. I'm 5.10"/190lbs with a decent build, ordered a size 33 and the shorts were good on the waist but too tight on the thighs.

I would suggest that you go to two buttons on the Ridge instead of one. Ive had too many pair of pants that when I tighten the belt the single button comes undone. Two button insure that doesnt happen.

As a Women, I LOVE THESE SHORTS> I got them in TN traveling through to BSA camp last year. More comfortable than striker shorts and pants. i Wish these came in gray.

I was disappointed to learn that the front pockets are about three inches sorter than that of the Ridge pant, Apex pant and Apex shorts. I have no idea why they did not leave them the same size like on the Apex pant/shorts. Quality is great. The fit is great and to size (unlike some of their pants), I do wish they had a longer inseam like the Apex short. They are more form fitting which is great but they're 2-3 inches shorter than a lot of men would like. The features as great...love all of the other pockets, they make the shorts worth keeping...I can comfortably use the front pockets.

If youre a 90s, 00s kid or loved having lots of pockets when you were in the military. Its hard not to love these shorts. They dont scream cargo shorts but when you need to carry a little extra they are right there. Shorts have good flex and stain resistance.

Usually am a fan but the whole CS team was far below normal 5.11 standards. I had a delay in order confirmation, a failure to cancel when asked 2x, ups order redirected caused delay in refund of which I had to call and ask for 2 days after items were returned to the warehouse. Ya can't keep using covid as an excuse for substandard customer service.

These are some excellent shorts! The materials are comfy and I love the pockets in the back! The only thing is the front pockets are TOO SMALL! My knife is always falling out when Im sitting. Thats my only complaint! Otherwise get you a pair!

I own two pair of Apex pants. These are just slightly shorter and a little less feature rich but it's worth the money saved. Better for hiking and walking uphill too since they don't cover up your knee. I'll stick with these till they stop making them.

Wish I had known about these when I thru-hiked the Appalachian Trail! Great fit with all the right features. Got these on sale for a price that was just right for the value I received. No frills but all the right features with well designed pockets and made of tough material.
