The bag overall is well constructed. Heavy cordura nylon for 3 sides of the bag. Side next to body is a softer more comfortable fabric: bonus. Lots of pockets, some flat so, minimal use. The pocket for ectronics on the strap is too small for an iPhone 17 in a reasonably tough case so, it became my first aid kit pocket. The bag slides off my back when I bend over due to the lack of a quick release "waist" belt. But, I'll with purchase one or make one using the existing extra sling strap, over th bag carries nice even with the bag mostly full on an airplane. Just need to watch the bend over move :).

It could yse a side pouch forva water bottle. The communication pouch on strsp is a joke. It's way too small and the zipper should be on the other side. It is a nice sturdy pack.

Sturdy construction leaves me to believe this pack will last a long time. I can’t give it 5 stars for the following reasons:nLike my older pack, the design doesn’t allow for the hydration tube to be used and still use the glasses pouch Switch the position of the pouch and the hose hole and it might work. Please put a more substantial divider inside the pack with Molle so a full size pistol could be holstered in it or turn the existing hole to side opening The small pouch on the strap-

This is the perfect size for a sling pack - any bigger, and it would be rather uncomfortable. It's got enough organization that it works well for its size. Can hold smaller laptops along with certain armor, with room for more.nnI've used one as a personal-item carry-on as it's smalll enough to fit even some of the more restrictive airline guidelines.

Tons of storage compartments and the one shoulder design makes it easy to access. Only possible improvement would be a secondary lower strap to secure the bag more closely to the body, but it works fine as is.

I've had this bag since freshman year of high school almost 6 years ago. That being said, it's seen the kind of abuse you'd expect from some high school car guy. nnIt's held up to my T560 laptop for that time and is only now starting to wear down a little hole in the fabric and it's still holding strong. nnI've never had a major problem with the sling aside from how low to the bag the clip is cut. It would be vastly more comfortable and secure with a two part sling that clips in the middle but otherwise it's an amazing bag that will now be my first aid kit after grabbing a Rush 12 24L.

Ive had one of these bags for several years and have used it to travel around Europe. Its the perfect size for all the stuff I need for daily traveling.nnI bought a second/back-up bag for long-range planning for after I wear out the first one.nnI have lots of the RUSH bags in various sizes

I bought the RUSH MOAB 10 (18L) to accomdate my S&W M&P FPC 9 with a 2. 25 in linear compensator for CCW and/or a trunk gun. The MOAB 8 was a little too small due to the muzzle device. I have owned a RUSH back pack for a number of years and it has given me great service. I like the idea of piggy-backing he sling onto the back pack. It seems to be well made with quality materials.

Just picked one up from the Salt Lake City store. I was looking for one that I could fit my laptop in for daily use. Fits perfectly. Other 5. 11 packs were either way too big or way too small. I love it so far

I had this bag years ago. It was my daily carry bag for work and home. I had room for admin, meds, some toiletries, and ppe. This thing got me through everything. At home I carried a Glock or whatever my CCW was at that given moment. I even carried a folded PCC on occasion during.nnOnly one minor issue was the pocket on the strap. It was annoying in your neck during long treks. Sometimes gives you lemons and those lemons involve walking great distances unexpectedly. That pocket needs to go.nnIt sadly got stolen out of the backseat of my truck. The family and I was at a food truck fest in northern Utah and someone snatched it while we werent looking. I had over $500 of gear inside. I was so heartbroken I never replaced it.

The Moab 10 is a great size - I have to carry a lot of stuff when I take my kids hiking, mine & theirs. The size is great for as much we usually need on our 3-4 hour jaunts, and I can hook their packs, jackets, even shoes on easily. I also use the sling for my own weighted ruck trail running. I find the off-center load is good for additional core strength, ankle/knee balance and mobility. It's also a ton of fun to play around with molle accessories. It actually sits at a great angle to easily draw a wakizashi that I've strapped to the upper side for my "zombie apocalypse" kit. nnThe only significant drawback is the lack of an underarm strap to stabilize the pack when additional agility is needed to get from here to there. It's odd that the lighter weight slings from 5. 11 offer the additional strap, but not on the bulkier Moab series. I hope they develop an accessory strap (even sold separately)nnAnd - this wasn't the reason I bought it, but - a simple pocket or even (better) straps to stow my laptop would be amazing. With that, I'd even take this sling for business travel.

If you plan on using the sunglass pouch and a hydration pack at the same time, forget it. I dont get how that design made it past the test phase. When you run your hose through the top Velcro hole, it wraps around the sunglass pouch essentially crushing it. Youre better off not using it. Had they put the zipper/pouch behind the hose hole, it would have worked out a lot better. All and all though. Still a good bag

My MOAB goes everywhere with me. nI'm a big guy (6'5 and 360lbs) and it fits me wellI, absolutely love the size and versatility of it. The ability to have a water bladder for a bag that size is a god send when I go to things like car shows or festivals I don't have to upsize to a larger one.nIf it gets really heavy I have a cheapo backpack strap I carry with me to balance out the weight, clip it to the generous molle webbing and off I go.nIf 5. 11 reads this my two mild complaints are with the shoulder padding being a bit thin for long periods of time with any real weight. The second on is the water feed line from the bladder compartment to the exit at the top. With the sunglasses compartment there I lose about 7inches(insert joke here) of tubing having to route around to the exit.

Love this bag. Ive used it for an EDC for several years. It gets its share of daily abuse. It has all the right pockets and clips to satisfy my needs. Im always concerned about companies discontinuing products, so even though my existing bag is still holding strong I bought a backup.

This backpack is well made, very functional. Only two things I would change:nn1. Make the shoulder strap longer instead of relying on an excessively long adjustment strap. Could also use a bit of extra padding at the apex of where it sits in your shoulder. n2. More evenly distributed attachment point where the top of the shoulder strap attaches to the bag. As it is now pulls more on the top material where the sunglasses pouch is. I would try to attach it more to the back body of the bag and reinforce that point. nnOtherwise a great bag. I use it for work and it stands up to the harsh conditions of a construction job, although admittedly I baby it to keep it nice. It is large enough to hold notebooks and Magpul DAKA pouches in the main compartment of the bag. No issues after 1 month of daily carry.

Had me a big tactical 3 day pack that was too much for a day trip, in comes this nice medium sized sling bag. Was also my the size of a backpack as well but since its a cross body style we get more length out of. I use it for the days to the firing range. I can put my foldable carbine and at least 3 pistols with multiple ammo pouches. The added molle attachment system is also a really nice feature in the sense that if you wanted to add more you can do it how ever youd like. I haven had a true chance to use as an everyday pack but I cant see anything it would be a problem with as its about the same size as my other edc bag.

Back In 2023 I decided to take the Sling pack during my trip to the Philippines. Its practical and tactical at the same time. I was able to storage my camera, drone and some charging cables with no problems. I also included the 511 hydration tube to keep me hydrated since Manila is extremely hot. This year Im just trying to upgrade to something more bigger but I would recommend this for anyone who is traveling.

I have the smaller Moab sling bag and love it, but my son "liberated" it from me. I decided to go with a bit bigger Moab sling and love this thing. It is my EDC bag and has a surprisingly number of compartments. It has a very nice quick access compartment for a hand gun. Top quality as always with this brand. I am very happy with this purchase.

I purchased this Sling Pack many moons ago. To give you an idea, the pocket directly on the sling fits an iPhone 6 nicely. After years of use It still looks like new. No faults in construction. The best feature of this pack is the hidden quick access pocket. This pack also works nicely while on a motorbike. Great piece of kit. Cant recommend enough.

wish I could add photos to this so that I could show the problem areas that need addressing. Purchased mine in store at the Westheimer location in Houston Texas. Ive had it a little over a year and the stitching near most of the zippers has come undone rendering it unusable since stuff just falls out of the holes. If only they offered some type of warranty to back up the claim of durability. Ive had cheaper bags last much longer. :thumbsdown:

I love how this back is setup and has all the right compartments for storing items, but as a sling bad, it is not very comfortable to carry for long periods. 5.11 would have the perfect backpack if they only made this with backpack straps and not as a sling bag.

I carried the Moab6 for a little over eight years. I just received my Moab 10. I'm hoping to get the same mileage out of it. That I did with my Moab 6. I wanted more space and it has that. Would like to have some more zipper compartments in the main pouch. Also maybe make the CCW pouch a little wider. nSo far it seems to ride comfortably and it distributed the weight nicely. Hopefully it lives as long as my other. After eight years all the zippers still work. It was retired to be a first aid kit in the shop area.

I have multiple packs from 5.11 that I use for different uses. I use this one every day, but if I could change one thing, Id give it two straps. Its the perfect size, good quality, great pockets for various uses, but its too heavy to use as a sling. Its just not comfortable for any length of time when loaded up with your daily gear. My opinion, give it a second strap and make it the the smallest of the Rush line, itll be infinitely better.

Give it a 5 for durability and packability and a 3 overall for the fact that it cannot be used at all as a hiking or adventure bag as it says. Used on trips where flying is involved. All the little compartments are great for snacks and essentials you need while out and about. Can hold a 14 inch laptop along with note pads plus a jacket and other stuff needed when traveling for work or conferences. I don't know why they bothered with a bladder pouch though as it has not stood up to even light trail hiking. The bag is durable and great but they did not include anyway to put a secondary waist strap so it will not stay put on your back at all. Even the smallest obstacles make it move side to side which gets you off balance. Not so great on back trails in Alaska during the break up season. I gave up halfway through and took it off and carried it over and area of rougher terrain. Since I bought this to be a combo travel and day hiking bag I am very disappointed that I will still have to bring a second hiking bag with me on trips like the Alaska one where I am needing both a hiking bag and around town travel bag.

I do not suggest buying any items from this company. They can't even get a simple purchase correct. I ordered a 18L sling pack for $105 and the sent me the 13L sling pack that was $95. I ordered with Paypal. Paypal shows I ordered the correct bag and paid correct price but the person on 511s end took it on themselves to send the wrong size sling pack. The tag on the pack even shows the $95 price. I am not happy because I am the one who has to hold through the headache to return this item and try to get the correct item. I did not order the wrong bag. They just decided to send the wrong bag. I can't imagine what would happen if I ordered multiple items and had a complicated order. I feel they should be reaching out to me to correct this issue. And no i will not order from 511 again.

I purchased my first MOAB 10 bag in 2015, used it extensively for day hikes and general shenanigans. My vehicle was broken into in 2022 and it was stolen. I purchased one for a friend's Christmas present earlier this month and after receiving that one, I had to buy myself one too. nnI'm a firm believer that if you can't beat the snot out of your gear daily and still be able to rely on it for years to come, that gear isn't worth buying. This bag satisfies that philosophy. nThe stitching, zippers, material, and organizational layout of this bag are superior to any day-pack-sized bag on the market. PERIOD. nMy only gripe is that I would prefer a second buckle on the shoulder strap so the unused side strap could be attached (think like a triangle). nIf this one gets lost or stolen, I'll be back for another. If I manage to maim or destroy this one, I'll be back for another.

I purchased this bag a few years ago, and I would admit it's very durable. This was my previous EDC bag, but it would draw some attention due to the tactical look, even though I got it in black, therefore I chose to transition to the 5.11 LV18 2.0 and Im loving it. However, the MOAB Rush 10 held everything I had in place and offered plenty of space. I wouldnt recommend this for a get home scenario or a hike bag. Due to a lot of movement and constant readjustments via it having the one strap. Also, the ccw pocket can be a bit tight depending on what you carry and hand size. But nonetheless, I still keep this bag on hand and will suggest it to anyone looking for a sling bag.

I purchased mine at the Manteca store/distribution center. I was never a fan of sling packs and this is the only one I have ever been satisfied with. Despite its 18L capacity, it can hold more that larger capacity backpacks in its size range. I like its arrangement of storage areas. If you are going to use the water carrier, you have to use the shorter and wider 1.5L bladders to make it work best. Use the measurements provided on that area to shop for the right one. This leads me to my question. How about making this pack, slightly larger, into a backpack configuration also. Same internal storage setup. Not to compete with the Rush 12, I don't need a laptop area, just the MOAB features instead. I suspect a 20 or 21L would suffice and would make an excellent get home bag or emergency vehicle bag. I love the MOAB 10, but a slingback in a lengthy emergency tends to strain the neck. A backpack equivalent, possible along with a chest rig if necessary, would fit the bill. I'd love to see a complimentary backpack to the MOAB 10.

I love this bag. I've had one for about 8+ years with nearly no signs of wear. However, my main issue with with the lack of room in the hydration pouch section. There is a piece of hard plastic in there that prohibits me from putting anything back there wider than a piece of paper. I don't know, maybe i'm using it incorrectly.

The buckle on the shoulder strap doesn't lock the strap in very well. If you have any weight in the bag it can let loose and fully extend. Overall not a bad bag. But I would not suggest it for anything more than a light carry on or possibly a work bag with minimal items in it.

This one is great. I like the ease of access and the organizational pouches inside. It works well for an EDC pack and a secondary chest pack in the field, giving quick access to things needed without requiring the removal of your main, or either pack for that matter, to get at a needed tool or piece of equipment. The ability to attach it to to RUSH 72 with the tier system and the extra hydration pocket make it a fabulous add to my gear set also.

It's a great bag! In fact, I have a rush 24, Rush Moab 8, and my Rush Moab 10. Only issue I have is personal, I usually go with black on all my work bags but this time the double tap looks awesome, wish I had gotten that color instead. Not had a chance to use it but from the experience on my other Rush bags I wish had gotten them a year ago.

This is my second purchase of this sling pack. Tough to beat the materials & design of this Bad Boy. Second one is a back- up or one for family that is having difficulty providing for their bunch of small children with the destructive inflation we have. So, if the SHTF, will be ready to face it, hopefully. Recommended to say the least. Get one while you have the option to do so.

I purchased this bag for an unusual reason. I needed a sling bag that would carry laptop, medications, and other essentials for the days that I receive chemo. This bag fits the bill perfectly. It is a bag that can be adapted to many different uses. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a a multi-use bag.

I just received my Moab 10 today. It arrived in excellent condition. I really hope 5.11 reads these reviews. I ordered my pack on 7/24 and the sale wasnt processed for a week. Fortunately I didnt need the bag. The bag appears to be nice. I plan on using this just for a day pack. The com pocket should be a little bigger, maybe 6 1/4 inches long to accommodate a cellphone. I hope I am as happy with the moab 10 as I am with my other 5.11 bags. Please process your orders quicker.

I'm a combat medic, bought this bag as a first response type med bag for garrison use. I love the layout and design of the front compartment and the sections on the back of the front compartment when accessed from the big compartment, if that makes sense. Lots of organization for basic trauma and basic meds setup.nnMy only issue is that I'm using a hydration bladder, the "pass through" port is blocked by the sunglasses pocket. So I had to roll up the sunglasses pocket to be able to route the hydration hose, making the sunglasses pocket useless. There are two zipper pulls on the hydration compartment, but they start and end at the bottom of the bag, instead of top, so can't use that to route the hose either.

Great bag for what I need. Wish it had a few smaller hidden pockets but otherwise Im happy. Only complaint really is some of the MOLLE slats on one side were too tight for the holster I was adding. I moved it down a little w no problem.

I've only had this item for a couple of days. Mixed feelings. The bag itself is very well constructed and looks like it will last for years to come. The internal organization seems well thought out. In general, I like it, with a few exceptions.nnIt is not as comfortable to carry as I was expecting. Could just be my physiology. I'm a bigger guy and this thing feels too small. I'm having trouble getting the strap adjusted so it feels comfortable. It digs into my shoulder in just the wrong spot. I found myself wanting to pull the bag up higher, but when I did, the stiff backboard would make the whole thing stick out behind me and hang uncomfortably. I think maybe I've gotten it, time will tell. In any case, I don't have to carry it for extended periods, so the comfort issue not an urgent priority.nnI tried removing the backboard, it seems like it should be possible, but after fighting with it for ten minutes, I gave up. Surely there must be a way to do it. I'm assuming it is there for those who would make use of the hydration bladder compartment, which I probably never will. However, I think it might be more comfortable to carry without the backboard. I'd like to at least be able to try it and see.nnOne other complaint is the so-called "coms pouch" on the strap. Seems like a good idea in principle. However, it's too small. I have a larger sized phone, and it's not going to fit. The pouch needs to be an inch to an inch and a half longer to accommodate the larger phones most people have these days.

This bag is what the smaller MOAB shouldve been. I recommend it to anyone who needs a serious day pack for some serious action. The only complaint I have is the shoulder strap is very thick in the area where it folds over your shoulder and that area cannot be adjusted so you just have to deal with it. If you could put the old MOAB strap on the new one well then that would be very comfortable situation.

So far I'm pretty impressed with this pack. First time owning a molle system pack and have been looking for a sling backpack for my outdoor activities. I like that I can customize it to carry what I need. Eventually hope to get the moab 6 to go with it. This is my first 5.11 purchase and don't think it'll be my last.

I have an older version of the Moab 10 that I use as a truck travel bag. I like it so much that I purchased a second one to use as a work bag. Plenty of organization for admin purposes. Room for my Microsoft Surface tablet and notebook. I keep a few snacks and an extra work polo in there as well. Bag is well constructed as other 5.11 products. The zippers on my new bag are quite still, I hope they will loosen a bit over time.

I've only been using this Sling Bag for 3 days and wonder why I didn't purchase it sooner! The compartments and pockets are nicely laid out. Easy to carry my tablet or small computer, small notebook, cell charger and cables, solar charger and a few FAK items. The eyeglass storage is great for my sunglasses. I've been using 5.11 gear pretty much since it came out (even Royal Robbins) and this is as well made as anything they have ever made. I'd like to see two additions to this product, a side pocket for a water bottle and another pouch on the front area where they could fit a 6.25 X 4 (hint - the Flex Admin Pouch fits there). I would buy it again and would recommend it to my friends. Great bag, good design, tough construction and well designed pockets.

This is a sturdy as hell sling pack! nnExcellent for edc and for something more. I have a rush X Ray, a rush 72, and along with the MOAB 10, they make a PERFECT combo for any airport. Check the X Ray, carry on the rush 72 and the Moab 10 as your personal item.nnWhat I liked the most of the moab 10 is its design, a lot of space and organizers make a great versatility on the way. It also can be comfortably carried one handed without using the sling.nnOnly con I found is that I couldnt fit my cellphone in the "comms" bag. But it doesnt matter, it still deserves the 5 stars!nnIn black looks killer, but Im thinking in also getting the green ranger one!

Love, love, love all the storage compartments this bag has, especially the separate one on the strap which perfectly holds my cellphone for quick and secure access. This bag has been with me for 8 years now before anything has broken on it, and only now did both zipper straps finally break. This is very non-traditional use, and not for its intended purpose... yet I have never found any women's bag that I have ever utilized as much as this one. It has served as a killer diaper bag through two children, and kept me organized the entire time. The mesh pouches became instant first-aid access for everything needed on-the-fly. Great for day trips at Amusement Parks, an airplane "purse" or personal item too. It has survived many school fieldtrips, keeping me confident and prepared with necessary items organized and readily available at any time. My only critical feedback, and truly the only reason I rated 4 instead of 5 stars, is because I wish the pack was about 1 inch wider. The bag does not hold a 3-ring binder inside without putting excessive strain upon the zippers - which I've done a few times, and the zippers never did burst. If it could just be wide enough to hold items like that, I'd never use any other bag again. Worth every penny spent!

I love the Moab Slingpack. I use it everyday as a go pack. It carries everything i need to be successful in my day while also staying comfortable on my side. Easy to take on and off. I also purchased a water bladder for its dedicated water pocket and have used it on a few hikes. The Molle system allows you to attach all sorts of extra gear to it to make it more versatile. If you have a backpack from 5.11 you can connect the slingpack to it to make it one pack.

This bag is the perfect along bag. It is sturdy, has great pockets for compartmentalizing your stuff, and can (surprisingly) fit my chunky gaming laptop (Asus Nitro). Some things I hope they consider for the next iteration: the cellphone pocket the should is too small for my phone (Pixel 7) and probably almost every other modern phone. Also, the placement of this pocket makes it impossible to access while wearing the bag. I would suggest moving it so it sits on front of the shoulder, just above the chest. Also maybe consider designing the pockets to be more functional/accessible while wearing it. They already are, but it I feel like it could be improved on somehow. One of the things I like best about this bag is being able to simply spin it around my body and access my concealed carry or the pockets.

This is the best sling pack I've ever owned and I've been through several in the past. There are tons of pockets & features for everything to easily fit. My favorite is the sunglasses pocket on the top. nnAnd I already have a rush pack from work & that thing is tough as nails. I returned this bag after a week because of the strap. The ambidextrous set up is a nice feature, but sacrifices comfort and stability. The phone pocket is more cumbersome than useful (didnt fit my iPhone w/ an OtterBox). Just barely fits a 15 laptop, also why I returned it. I liked the front pocket organization, I liked the edc pocket location, but not sure itd fit with a fully loaded pack. Just didnt work out for me and went to a Maxpedition Kodiak Sling for size and strap contour/comfort and stabilizer strap.

I need a gym bag and almost bought a cheap one off of the internet. Those reviews of bad quality and bad zippers made me go back to 5.11. As a police officer, the hidden pocket is great for a pistol. The admin pockets are well organized and the bag is square so that attachments could be added. I didnt see it in the video but it also comes with buckles and straps so I can attach to my Rush 72 pack and then detach for use.

I should of given this a review a year ago when i brought it, but a few months time isnt enough to test the strength of a product. So now im back here today for the sales to pick up a few things and decided its time for that review. BUY THIS BAG. I have taken this camping and used it everyday for work. I put my camera and equipments in it when im out for a shoot and never had to worrie about the durability and having enough space for my gears. There's plenty of room for pouche attachments. Best part is it's water proof so I wont have to worry about my camera lens getting wet in the rain.

I purchased this pack back in 2013. I use it every day, I essentially live out of it. I was paralyzed in 2011, and went through at least half a dozen bags from cheap to expensive trying to find one that stood up to me and this chair; all failed except my Moab. I have probably 10-15 pounds stuffed in it, and sling it over the backrest of my chair. At least 4 times a day I throw it across the car to the passengers side when I use my car. It's tough! It has adequate storage for my essentials, and has a concealed carry pocket. At 10 years old it is starting to show some wear, and I considered buying a new one, but just cant part with this one. One day I will probably need to, but until then.... Don't hesitate to depend on a 5.11 pack!

Took this halfway around the world and back. Worked flawlessly. Especially when having to unload and reload the contents many times for various security checks in different countries. You can easily wear it as a single shoulder backpack or true sling pack depending on what you need at the moment. I added a 6x6 pouch to the front that allows it stand upright, making it even more convenient. Plus it seems solid, like it will last. Highly recommend.

Lack of bottle holder is easily resolved by an aftermarket MOLLE drink carrier. Doesn't ride up on neck like other brands. Great sling for many purposes.

This is my second 5.11 pack. I also bought the Moab 6 but was a little small. The quality of both bags is very good. The only fault I saw with either was that the comm. pouch is to small for a modern cell phone but two double stack compact 9mm mags fit nicely.

This is the perfect bag to carry my MPX to and from the range, each compartment has a functional use. Once my suppressor arrives, the gun will be too long to fit as it does now so Ill have to break it down for transport or get another bag. This is the perfect sling pack for work for me. When I opened it immediately, I found the little padding to switch the shoulder from left to right. I'm a right-handed person in a left-handed home. I know left-hand things are hard to come by. I prefer buying ambidextrous things so in case my parents need to use something, they are able to. This is one of them. This bag is so efficient. Theres so many ways you can arrange it with tons of storage pocket options I love it. Also the connect system allowed me to strap it to the Rush 2.0 55L bag seamlessly and they made an excellent travel set up for flying. My only complaint with this bag is I didnt calculate the fact that your entire bag is resting on one shoulder and during extended strenuous activity with the bag (hiking a rainforest) it became an issue, but the strap can be swapped side to side so you can rest one side at a time. I am very pleased with this purchase.

Its a little larger than what I need but it has all the pockets and is well organized which makes up for the size. Alto the Ranger Green color is much nicer than the old OD Tac they use to sell. If you need a color other than black this one is probably your best bet. Im glad I bought it.

The very heavy material speaks well for potential longevity, but it is so stiff that it limits what you can get into it. The internal pockets consume a significant amount of space when used. Hopefully it will loosen/soften up with use. Might have to kick it around on the ground for a few hours.

So, Back in 2003 I Purchased a Rush 12 Backpack for a EDC Bag Because of my long commute to work, so it became a EDC/Get Home bag and I still have it to this day (2001) and it is still going strong, but life changes, and so do your needs, so I picked up the MOAB just for every day carry, and it's perfect for me, the only thing that I was disappointed in was the phone case on the shoulder strap,,, it just does not fit a modern day cell phone/smartphone,,it's just to small, so I use it for a pair of machanx gloves, and keep my phone inside a high speed gear phone taco, But I do love the pack, and have no regrets.

So.. it does everything well except hang on one shoulder.. the weight and design dont really allow you to pick it up and carry it over one shoulder without holding it. The only real way to effectively use this is to put it over your head with the strap across your chest. nnWhich is nuts right? Because I have 5.11 backpack with 2 straps and I can carry that on one shoulder all day!! But the one strap backpack is unable!! Lol

If you are solely looking for a concealed carry option this is perfect, and you will have other items on board in your pack without giving a second thought. Looks well-built. Heavier than my previous EDC bags (duffel and messenger). Maybe it's because of the quality of the materials used. I hope the stitches of the shoulder strap and molle won't break easily. Spacious and organized compartments. I would definitely recommend to anyone.

I wanted a smaller pack that I could take with me on the daily. This has well thought out pockets and can actually fit quite a bit of stuff. And the Molle makes it even more versatile. The only minor complaint I have is that the strap losses up a bit sometimes. But thats an easy fix. Thanks for a great product!

I use this product as my gym bag and it is fantastic. It is light weight and it has plenty of room for an extra pair of shoes and various other workout items. I think this would also make a great day hike bag.

I'm not a fan of sling bags but I couldn't help getting another 5.11 bag (they're just so awesome) and I'm very pleased, of course the quality is amazing but it is also very handy to have to throw a odds and ends in and keep it in the truck as I'm out and about for the day. I don't really have use for the phone/mp3 pocket on the strap (kinda gets in the way) and I wish the front pocket was bigger/stuck farther out so I could drop bulker items in it since the main compartment is small. Overall its a smaller bag so that's all I need for this purpose; otherwise, get the Rush12. One last thing is when it's loaded up heavy the bag sags and pulls the strap against your neck (trying to sling under you). Again I'm not a big sling bag fan and even I find it handy, if you want a sling bag you can't beat the quality

Overall it is a good bag and comfortable. However, my major complaint is this is a left hand draw for the concealed carry pocket. One of the main reasons I got the bag was to use for concealed carry and the way the strap is configured you can only really were the bag over your right shoulder which then makes it a left hand draw.

I purchased the Moab 10 for EDC so I could use the tier system to connect to my Rush 72. Im still on the fence with this pack. This is my 5th 5.11 pack. The rest are great (All hazards prime, nitro, rush 24, and rush 72). The admin pockets are too tight to really use, the concealed carry pocket is extremely hard to use. I can barely fit my hand in and the hook and loop is loud giving away any stealth. I have carried a Vanquest pack for 5 years and like it way better. Also, the shoulder strap rides up to my upper chest/throat no matter how I adjust it. It is not a horrible pack, just definitely not what I expected from 5.11

I purchased this in black when I was active duty. It was perfect for light duty and carried all my EDC essentials. Ive thrown everything at this bag and the only damage was some light fraying on the velcro. This is one tough bag. 8 years later I still use it as my day bag. Its built tough and I love the organization and modularity for what I need it to be. This is has been one of my best 5.11 purchases!

So after almost 2 years of use, I absolutely love this pack. It has been my main EDC pack for about a year, and has been my choice for a hiking pack around the SW, from Carlsbad Caverns, Sandia Mountains, the Grand Canyon to other excursions to the urban jungle of Las Vegas, theres always a place to put whatever gear I need, and even some that I dont need, its comfortable to carry, and took a 50 spill down one of the local mountains on my back and doesnt even show any wear, even though I was stiff for about a week

Just received my bag recently. As an operator, I was able to place my items nicely in this bag. The CCW fits many sizes, including my G47. Very sturdy, handles the weather just fine. I was out in the rain for about 4 hours and everything inside was dry. Took it for some training, and I had the boys asking where I got it from. Highly recommended as an assault pack if you want to go to a smaller 18L size.

The only short coming to both of these fine sling bags ( I own both) is the size of the strap pouch. I've use and Android phone and the pouch is too small to accommodate. I end up clipping it to the outside which I'd rather not do.

I'm not military, nor am I a first responder, or law enforcement. Shit I don't even play airsoft. But I love organization, and respect utility; and I love this bag.I work in a hospital, and use this as my EDC pack. I don't carry alot, just my pocket stuff, a nail kit, a small med kit, and the usual small stuff that gets used day by day. My last bag was canvas, and getting old; I needed something more organized and durable, and seeing as I bought this at the burst of the pandemic, something I could easily sanitize.Through the last three months, this bag has been my lifeline. It's held up rushing between hospitals covering staff shortages, getting thrown in and out of lockers and trash bags. It's held tools, parts, masks, even the last shreds of my sanity a few times. It has enough internal divided space that makes organizing stuff easy, and it's not so bulky that my shoulder screams at the end if the day. I bought an accessory pack to add on an extra side pouch and water bottle holder, a few grimlocks, and an extra velcro panel to add a few more patches to force myself to smile in the midst of this nightmare.While I wish the padded portion of the shoulder strap was 2 or 3 inches longer, and the pouch on the shoulder strap removable, I really can't say anything bad about this bag. I don't regret buying it, and the $100 dollars it cost has already paid itself off. Hopefully it will last a good long time so I can do some adventuring with it. If you're on the fence, just buy it. Ignore the tacticool comments from your douchebag friends, and don't hesitate on the fist bump from your army cousin who will try and borrow it permanently. It's a solid bag with alot of room to customize, and it will serve you well.End Speech.

I've had my Rush pack for over 3 years and the only issues I have had were with the textured rubber padding on the bottom of the back area. Other than that, this bag has traveled with me to and from work, It has flown with me to Japan and the Netherlands. This bag is also my EDC bag and is my primary bag that I still use even now. If I could change one thing about this slinger, I would probably make a 2 or 3 point clasp for when I have the bag on and want to adjust it for more comfort. Other than that, this bag is the perfect bag. I even recommended it to someone for their grandkids birthday and gave my personal experience with 5.11 gear. This company has my money for life.

I made the mistake of ordering a Maxpedition Fay Boy after reading all of the reviews, hype and comparisons of the product on the Internet. A while back I bought my girlfriend a RUSH MOAB 10 and a PUSH several years ago for our Thailand travels, and without question the 5.11 sling pack products are the cats ass by comparison. The competition mentioned doesnt even compare to quality, design, functionality, ruggedness, attachment possibilities and comfort in its carry design. Go with 5.11, you wont be disappointed.

This is by far my favorite small-sized backpack I own. I love the sling strapping which I do not find uncomfortable. I read some people feel it hurts their neck, but I find that if you just take the time to shift it off your neck it isn't an issue. Before this bag, I had been trying to modify another company's bag a long time to get it to have the same features this bag just comes with standard so once I saw that, I knew I had my bag. The only issues I have with it are 2 fold: 1) the common pouch needs to have 2 zipper pulls & be better waterproofed so that I don't have to unzip the entire pouch & expose my comms equipment to the elements to run an antenna out of it & 2) the bottom strapping needs to just be 2 straps like most backpacks so that it can be cinched down all the way unlike the current "Y" configuration which doesn't allow totally cinching it down with soft compressible items (what you'd be strapping to the bottom) & can sometimes cause you to lose them (most my favorite raincoat without realizing it until later & almost lost another one). Other than that, this is probably the best light go-bag I have come across & works great in the tier system as a light patrol bag to go with my 72 hour large bugout bag. Love this thing!

Works PERFECTLY for my purposes!! I will say that I lol at those complaining about ability to rapidly access CCW!! If you are CCW in a bag, you've no clue!! While my weapon is ALWAYS part of my body, I would not discount possibility of carrying a back-up in this bag!!! But, I'm not the paranoid type thinking I require back-up magazines or firearm. Let's face it, if you require back-up rounds on the street, you've other problems!! Great bag!!

I have had the Rush Mob 10 Sling for about 2 months now. I use it as a daily carry bag to the office and back so not as tactical as many users. Size wise is almost perfect (inch wider would be nice) and it feels sturdy enough that I believe it will last a long time. I was not disappointed when I received it. A few small constructive criticisms and things I would like to see done for a 2nd gen version that I would definitely Buy again. 1.The Padded portion of the shoulder strap should be longer the current length places the plastic clip right on my collar bone and can be uncomfortable, 2. It likes to slide down my back, so something to help it not slide as bad either on the back of the padded shoulder strap or the back of the bag would help 3. the adjustment on the shoulder strap clip slides sometimes, a better quick adjustment like the timbuk2 bags have would be nice 4. The Comms pouch on the pouch on the shoulder, which I was looking forward to for my Keys and earbuds is very difficult to access with the bag on making it useless for me. a small pouch on the padded hip part of the strap would be handy (will probably add one myself). Again a nice product that with a few small tweaks mainly to the shoulder strap and it would be near perfect.

I picked this bag up while training in VA, and it's great for light daily outings. I managed to jam a 1" binder in it, but it's not designed for that. I believe there is a bag one size up that could be used for more "office" work if you don't want a satchel, but it is a two-strap bag. The one design flaw I've run into is routing a hydration tube around the sunglass pouch, but other than that this is a great bag overall. Like Eddie, I'll be upgrading to a RUSH 72 shortly for larger load-outs and the compatibility with this bag.

This bag is phenomenal, I have had it for right around 2 and a half years. It has been a duty bag, a bug out back, a travel bag, hunting bag and a police academy bag haha. It is holding up perfectly there is an incredible amount of room, I still have yet to maximize all of the space. An absolutely excellent piece of equipment.

I had originally bought this bag about 4 or 5 years ago to be an admin bag. When I first purchased this bag I had just started working in the security industry at 18. I was young and simple or you could say dumb. I was just looking for something I could throw all my binders and folders in. Over the years it has had multiple roles. I used it as a grab and go trunk bag with random gear in it. I used it as a day bag on vacation. It was an admin bag at the beginning of its life and is currently my EDC bag. If you just need a random bag small enough so it doesn't get in the way when not in use this bag has you covered. If you're looking for an everyday use bag look no further than the Rush MOAB 10.

I purchased this bag 6 years ago and have used it everyday since then. I carry it everywhere and pack it both light and heavy. I use it when I fly or just travel around. It still looks new and I still love it. It holds everything I can stuff into it. I carry a whole slew of EDC gear and general electronic stuff complete with chargers and such. I love the CCW pocket for when I want to carry off person. It is roomy enough for my commander model Kimber 45 ACP. Even without a holster it is always in the right position to grab when needed. I haven't used installed a hydration bladder as I use that compartment to hold my Tie wraps,Glow sticks and other seldom used gear. I love all the mesh pockets in the main compartment and make organization for me a snap as I utilize Altoid tins for most of my little stuff like batteries and such. The pocket on the sling strap is perfect for my handheld GPS. I have added a off the shelf 6x6 Molle pouch as my medkit. Overall I love this bag and if you are looking for a sling bag this is the one to get. It is also compatible with the 5.11 tier system.

I chose this as a DCE (day camp and explore) bag. To me, day camping and exploring is as simple as going on a picnic to a local county park, heating up some lunch and taking some pictures. Maybe some low tech fishing in a pond or creek. Maybe some GPS readings to loc the spot. If stuff happens, the bag has room for emergencies. This bag hits the nail on the head with its flexibility and craftsmanship.

The is my 2nd sling pack from 5.11. I have the covert sling pack which is no longer offered. I bought this because I needed a pack with a little more room. There is one person who pointed out in his review that with a hydration pack you basically lose the sunglass pouch because of the way the hose is routed. That 's about my only gripe with this bag. I was however able to stuff a 3 liter hydration bladder. I would highly suggest this pack to anyone.

I purchased this bag as a flight line bag when I was in the Air Force, 7-8 years ago. I normally don't write reviews, but I was browsing the 5.11 site and was surprised to find this bag still for sale. I have put this pack through its paces for years of hard abuse and still use it daily. The only sign of wear I can see is the velcro for the hidden holster compartment is just now starting to come unstitched. After 7-8 years of the abuse I've put it through, I think that's forgivable. Thank you 5.11 for the amazing product that has served me for so long. When it finally succumbs to the abuse I put it through, I will be looking to you for a replacement.

Bought this bag to replace my other EDC bag. I'm not mad about anything. Quality is great. Has enough space inside the large compartment for a small computer, or a change of clothes. The smaller compartment has the right amount of different size pouches for almost everything you can think of. The only down side is the small pouch in the sling.... It's not big enough for my phone... But I just keep my extra battery pack in there and run the charging cord through the hole! 10/10 would buy again!

I absolutely love the pack because it is travel friendly. However, with everyday usage I have discovered a way for this bag to maybe improve. Since this pack is an ambidextrous sling-style pack, it comes with two shoulder straps. While one of them connect to the sling with a buckle, the other side can be stowed away. So I kept thinking to myself, why not provide a buckle that looks like one of the 5.11 tier system buckles so that the other unused shoulder strap can be used as a hip harness? I thought this would be an excellent utilization of that unused shoulder strap! I mean, the sling becomes so comfortable when that extra strap is used as a hip harness (I tried it by tying a knot). Please provide a buckle so that we can do this ASAP!!

When I found this bag, I was on the hunt for months for the right slingbag. A colleague of mine (we worked Healthcare Security at the time), introduced me to the 5.11 brand. I found this bag and nearly 6 years later, it has been through it all. Through Paramedic Academy, working in an ER, camping, travel, you name it. It has become my everyday carry with a stocked medkit reserved in the front pouch. This thing has been tossed, kicked, drowned, clawed at (I have two large dogs), you name it.The only sign of wear and tear? The two bottom most pads where it sits on your hip. Other than that, it is as structurally sound as the day it was bought. I kinda want a new one just for a cleaner look (mine is covered in stains ranging from blood to mud)...but Im not sure Id want to part with it. Seriously: when I was on the hunt for THE slingbag... 5.11 delivered. Nearly 6 years of every day wear in some extreme situations. Never let me down. Ever.

I've had a Moab 10 for about two years. In that time I've generally been very happy with the design and quality of the bag. The one major grip I have is the design of top part of the bag. The zippered sunglasses pocket interferes with hydration tube routing. I haven't found a good way to route the tube around the sunglasses pocket without winding up with a kinked tube. Moving the sunglasses pocket to the other side of the handle seems like the easy solution, but I'm sure 5.11 has there reasons.

I do not write reviews about products, but the Moab 10 deserves one.The Rush Moab 10 Sling Pack has been in my battery of backpacks for many years. I own 16 packs right now, and number 17 arrives next week. The Moab 10 is the one I carry 95% of the time. After years of trials it has become my EDC. That means that it is used for everything you can imagine. If I go somewhere, its on my back. Whether its a meeting, an outing, the range, church, training, exercise, or anything in between, the pack has been there and filled with the essentials for that activity. One very important point is that the concealed carry area works well and is well concealed.The bag is well constructed. It has managed far more weight than Ive cared to haul. Since I like to take everything with me, the pack is habitually overloaded. But, even though the pack has been overloaded, abused, and thoughtlessly treated over the many years, it does not show signs of the abuse it has received. The stitching remains good, there are no rips or tears, and the sling is intact. Amazing.Sling packs, for me, are not meant for trekking. I used this pack for a 22 mile walk/jog trek two years ago. The pack was overloaded, like always. By the end of the journey, my shoulder was tired. I had not switched sides with the strap during the trip, maybe I should have. Since that day, I use a pack with two straps when trekking over 10 miles.I'm not too loyal to any manufacturer, but 5.11 hit a home run with this pack and last year I bought a second one just in case they stop manufacturing this model.NICE JOB 5.11!!

Having recently purchased another 5.11 product, I figured I'd review the other 5.11 gear I own.TL;DR this bag is winning the war against metrosexual gear-stowing equipment selections every damn dayThis bag is my edc and I have been carrying it everywhere for nearly 10 years. It has been a school backpack, a carry-on (after removing the various 'tools' stashed therein), a camping bag, a diaper bag (2 kids under 5), a courier satchel, a work bag, a range bag, and much more. This bag has been dragged across concrete, tile, grass, sand, limestone, wood, and many other kinds of floors and the amazingly tough nylon material that comprises a majority of this bag hasn't even shown so much as a light spot rubbed by wear. It basically looks brand new, aside from the white stitching being a shade darker from rain/river water/skin oils/spilt drinks/pureed peas/etc. The only spot where any of the stitching has come undone is where the square flap of nylon has separated from the velcro covering the camelback port below the carry-handle. This is inconsequential, however, since I have yet to purchase a camelback, in lieu of a 64oz Yeti growler that fits perfectly inside the bag.I have made a couple modifications to the bag to suit my tastes, but these probably detract from its overall usefullness. I just like things a certain way. The first thing I did was unbuckle the side buckles, remove the part of the buckles that was removable (the male end, if you will), and ran the loose straps through the webbing in such a way that it is no longer loose. This was a tricky exercise, but if you do it correctly, the fold on the ends of the straps should just hook onto the lower-outer-most web slots on the upper section of the front of the bag, keeping the straps in place at all times. This does create the issue of having the female part of the buckles hanging in the wind, but they are silent and relatively stiff against the nylon. I also did something similar with the excess nylon on the shoulder strap. I folded it through the underside of the oversized webbing near the bottom of the strap and hooked the lip of nylon over the padded part where the nylon initiates.Overall, I would highly recommend this bag (and do rather frequently) to anyone who carries small to medium supplies everyday, e.g. pens, flashlights, knives, tablets, headphones, a copy of the declaration of independence, 300 feet of paracord, textbooks, a change of clothes, first-aid kits, a half-pound of trail-mix, a 64oz Yeti growler (or a camelback, if thats what you're into), etc.The only thing I would change about this bag is the slight clicking sound created by the buckle on the shoulder strap that is only audible when I'm trying to sneak past my boss's office at 7:40am (10 minutes late) when everyone else is silently working. Does it matter that I had to render self-aid buddy care to an oblivious pedestrian who stumbled over a planter downtown and sprained his tiny loafer-wearing ankle?? Nope.

The overall design of the moab 10 is off the hook. However, after one year of using this pack, the lower end of shoulder trap torn apart. Then I realized that it is not reinforced with continuous stitches like the top end of the shoulder trap. Anything failed after one year is a 3 star. Hopefully, you can resolve this issue in the next generation of moab.

Well to me it seems the M.O.A.B 10 is just a sling version of a rush 12.is it not? I mean be honest with youself buy a rush 12.and a M.O.A.B 10 and you have a major interchangeable affordable bag option. The 72 is sumwhat overkill unless you a hardcore european bagpacking need.

I have owned this backpack for 3 years now and it helps me with everything. It helps with College by holding my books, pencils, notes, etc. It helps with Hiking by holding my water, food, gear, etc. It works great as a Everyday backpack as well, and it looks good especially because you can customize it with patches and other things. I even play Airsoft, and use this backpack to carry an M4 and a KMP9 along with other gear and it still manages to perform perfectly for the task. That said don't buy this backpack if you expect to hold a ton of things. It has a surprising amount of space and organization but it still is a compact bag. Oh wait, you can just use Tier system to make it larger to fit your needs. I've seen people mention that it hurts their neck/shoulder when wearing it and I will say if you do it long enough you get used to it. Just don't expect to fill this thing to the brim with heavy gear and use it all day resting on one shoulder and not get a bit sore. You can always switch the side of the strap though. It's hard for me to say anything bad about this backpack, and it outperforms any backpack I've owned before it. Works perfectly for whatever I need, and that's why it gets 5 stars.

I love this pack. I alternate between using it for day hikes and using it to carry around my laptop. The crazy thing is that it's perfect for both purposes. This bag is the perfect pack. You can even fit the pack for a bladder and use it like a camelback hydration pack. super cool system. The expandability of the pack is great too. I've purchased a few add ons for when I go hiking. It's great. I also love the adjustable strap and the ease of carrying this around across my shoulder. This pack is perfect.

This is a well made bag that works great to expand your EDC. I carry the 6 in the summer and the 10 in the winter. I love the pistol pocket in this one because it takes my G17 and spare mag with ease. I gave the MOAB-6 5 stars because it was great at everything I threw at it. The 10 gets 4 start because it isn't great at carrying a full capacity or attaching to other bags. I took a 5 mile hike with this bag carrying about 20-25 lbs and it was miserable. The sling dug into my shoulder and was hard to get to sit right on my body. When adding it to another bag it is super tall which denies access to the main bag and distributes the weight poorly. It does everything else I ask it to very well however so it stays in my winter rotation.

I have had this bag for a few years and use it almost daily as a "brief case". It is holding up like new and is a great bag. My only requests is if you could make it about two inches wider. It holds my laptop no problem, but I also cary a portfolio case that is a little wider than the laptop and the additional two inches in width would allow that portfolio to slide in as easily as the laptop.

The Moab 10 is a durable, compact yet spacious bag with organization in mind. The only things I could say that the bag is missing would be a cross body anchor. Depending on which side you're carrying the bag on, I think that the opposite side male end, should buckle into a female buckle on the Strap that's already in use. Secondly I found that the suglasses pocket offen interferes with my hydration bladder tube from the inside, making the sunglasses pouch incapable of designed use. I would recommend if possible to move the sunglasses pouch forward of the comms pass through slot. Lastly, I would have liked to see a zipper pocket above the stuff pouch. I also wish it was about the same size as the Rush 12, however these last two notes are more of wishes than 'quality' complaints. I would definitely recommend this bag.

Using the Moab 10 doe several weeks on a daily base I am very pleased and fond of it. Useful pockets and plenty of room. One thing only. The shoulder strap pocket only has a one way zipper. Using it left handed drops the contents to the floor. A double zipper would prevail that. So pleased with the concept though I also got the Rush 72 which still has to be tested.

Only had the bag a very short while but so far, so good. I use it to carry a AR pistol broken down and spare mags and everything fits OK. No one would imagine what's inside IMO. Can anyone clue me in to the uses of the two small plastic pins in the main compartment that are attached by tabs of strap? I can't figure out what their use is. Also all 4 of the extra straps that were included in mine are female clipped is this the norm? I see no way to use them with no male ends to connect and attach them with. Anyone have thoughts on this? I love it so far and I hope I don't have issues with the strap like some of the other purchasers have. Mine seems pretty well attached at this point but it is loaded heavily so there is pressure on it for sure. Will report back if I have any issues. I do wish there was some sticky back Velcro on the inside of the pistol compartment for a holster to attach to. For $100 you would expect it would have everything you can imagine you would need. I just like my piece to be where I expect it to be and I don't want to be searching around in a pocket trying to find it if I need it quickly. That's my fifth star.

I use my MOAB 6 for hiking. I bought a MOAB 10 for extended hikes where more gear is needed. I can carry a surprising amount of gear, food, water, small shelter, poncho etc. Very well thought out. It is bulletproof too. Play with the adjustment strap to get it just right for a comfortable sling. I put a heavy round key ring (auto) and a caribiner on the bottom of the pack and attached it to my belt in the back so as to reduce the sag....Whole different feeling. Very nice product.

I know 5.11 products are really well made. If you shoot or even like their clothing, you know how well thought out the products are designed and this is certainly no different. What I didn't bank on, was just how much I would love this bag! I really do. As an on-call X-Ray/CT Technologist at a rural hospital 20 miles from my home, this bag is just the ticket for all my needs. Because I never know when I arrive if I will be there for the one exam or if it will turn busy and I end up spending the night, it's no problem because of this bag, It carries my toiletries and has room for Clif Bars and snacks, as well as room in the main compartment where I'm currently carrying 3 magazines, 2 books and my handy 3.8 x 1.2 x 7.2 inch Nelson's Classic Companion NKJV Bible, all of which fit onto a pouch that keeps them from flopping around. After that, there's STILL room for a full lunch bag I take in case the cafeteria is closed.This bag carries nicely and fits well against your back when wearing it across your shoulder. It is NOT, however, comfortable to shoulder on the "wrong" shoulder. I am Left handed, so carrying it on my Right shoulder is weird and it sticks awkwardly out too far, but ONLY because I have it set up for Left hand carry. If you had a bag that was not so side specific, it wouldn't matter and would carry the same regardless of specific side. This is not a big deal to me at all.The zippers are heavy duty YKK brand and if you leave a small opening on the top of any compartment, you can grab the cover and "rip" it open, with the zippers unzipping smoothly and flawlessly, giving you instant access to your desired compartment.Stellar. That is all I have to say about this bag. Stellar. Not one week goes by when I don't tell my wife how much I love this bag and how useful it is to me. I would completely recommend this bag and know you'll find it as useful as I do.

I wanted to try an experiment, so used my Moab 10 as my primary weekend travel backpack to Cincinnati last month. It did so well, I could have used it for a week. The Moab 10 held everything I needed and still had extra room. I almost used it as my primary backpack to NYC this month, but I had juuuust a little too much for it to be comfortable to carry on my shoulder as I walked around New York. So I used my 5.11 Covrt Triab instead.I was amazed at how sturdy and durable my Moab 10 was carrying my gear. It worked so well, I may buy another one this year. Nice work, 5.11.

This is my first sling pack I have ever used, but I pulled the trigger on it because the Rush 24 was a little too large as a daybag, and the concept of being able to chain it onto the RUSH for a longer trip pack was appealing.The bag is what I would expect of 5.11 bags and is of similar build quality to a Rush bag. The outer compartment is pretty much the outer admin compartment from a Rush 24, so if you have that bag you know what its like. the pouches on the outside can accommodate a couple of AR mags, or more realistically a couple of small, grocery store sized water bottles.The Inner compartment has a deep ambidextrous pocket as well as separate, left and right side accessible mesh pockets. The picture on the site does not make it clear, but the mesh is actually stacked, so you cant push your arm through it, which is great for making a first aid section.It also comes with a set of 4 of the rush tier clips, which allow you to either stack the bag onto another bag with web platform on the sides, or alternativly, use 2 as extra bottom compression straps, and 2 more to give yourself a space to clip a jacket or other load onto the face of the pack.As VITO pointed out in his review, the placement of the hole for the hydration tube makes it so you cannot use the glasses holder. that and putting a hydration bladder into the pouch is a lot more hassle than it really should be, which is what cost it a star here.The comms pocket so far I have not had much value out of, but if you have the backpack strapped on you correctly it is easy to reach on your shoulder so it may be a useful to store other things, but I found that It has trouble fitting my Droid Maxx, which is not a large phone at all.

I bought this bag in Double Tap color scheme and love it. I live in California not to far from the warehouse so I received it very fast. My only criticism is of the hydration tube hole being in the main pack. You must feed the tube from the hydration pouch into the main compartment but the grommet for it to feed out of the pack is right above the fleeced pocket for your eye-pro. So it cinches around the pocket sort of squishing your eye-pro. Otherwise it is an awesome pack that I hope to pair later down the road with the Rush 72 Pack. Love 5.11 products and will continue to be a customer.

I use the product as my Everyday Carry Bag and it fits a good amount of gear for my everyday urban travels and walks around town. I really enjoy the sling style as I can access my main pocket with ease and not have to remove the bag to do so. The bag is not overly heavy compared to size and it doesnt attract attention like a bigger bag might. the only negitive i have to say about it is that there is no option for a second attachment point for added stability. If there is, I'm not current aware of it.

Excellent pack. It does everything as advertised. Pack is well made and durable. I use it nearly everyday. Pack is easily and quickly donned and is accessible while wearing. I have worn it for short periods during monsoon storms and it has performed well in the rain. All this deserves 5 stars, but I have encountered a few problems that don't warrant lowering it to 4 stars.The single zipper to the com pocket tends to work itself open during rough use. Double zippers with the zipper pulls that interweave with each other would improve the access and security of the com pocket. The only other drawback is the side molle looks like it takes two full vertical straps side-by-side. But, there is only one full width position for a molle attachment (single strap) and a narrow slot that won't take a full strap. Perhaps, this is just a flaw in my bag and not common to all packs. This would indicate a quality issue rather than design. Well, I intended to attach an EMT glove pouch to the side, but it would only fit on the front because the pouch had two straps. I will do a work around, but I feel I shouldn't have to. I also wanted to attach a water bottle holder for a particularly nasty hot day, but the molle needed two slots for the two full size straps. The bottle did go on the front but made the pack just as deep as it was wide (large silhouette).Overall, I am extremely satisfied with the pack. I needed a little more capacity a few weeks ago, and switching to the RUSH 72 would have been overkill. Now, I have my rationalization to purchase the RUSH 12 or RUSH 24 in the future.If the need arises, the tier system works great. I used the RUSH 72 as a complete BLS jump bag and tiered the MOAB 10 with my personal gear. I parked the 72 and carried the 10 freely. And, it should be mentioned, that the Tier straps come with the MOAB with purchase, at least mine did.

This bag looks great. On first wear, this bag feels great. You can load a ton of stuff in it, and you can put in a camelback too? Just, wow! The sunglasses and Comms pocket are really good. I've used all 3 of those with this thing loaded to the brim and it'll do it. The mouth tube does seem to make loading the sunglasses harder.I use this for carrying around all my video game systems, a small 2lb laptop, various cords, etc. Net weight comes to about 12 lbs, but can readily hit 20-30 lbs no problem. Here is the problem: the 1 strap. It creates a pressure point at the base of the neck/shoulder incredibly easily, and you have to cinch that puppy up almost every time you use it, otherwise the problem is exacerbated. I don't like using it for international travel - but its utility means i deal with the pain, and that is a terrible compromise.If they offered a Y-strap adapter to use BOTH the left and right straps? I'd buy it in a heartbeat. This thing is great, OTHER than the serious issue of being very uncomfortable for anything other than 30 minutes of use.

I use this bag as a work bag. It is perfect size to fit a 1" or less binder in and manila folders. I love that it attaches to my MOAB 24 with the tier straps. When I have school all I do is attach them and then I only have one bag to carry. The only con is I wish the large compartment was a little more expandable and that they should of put a pocket on the top above the admin pouch under the Velcro similar to the 24.

He loves the fact that it does not look like one, and he will be able to use it for other things in years to come! The only problem I have with it is that after a long carry it will start to feel uncomfortable on the shoulder. I now use it for transporting my gear to school. Over all the pack does what they say it does. Part of a larger system. easy to load and adjust. HOWEVER!! The actual shoulder pad needs to be about 4 inches longer. To get a good stable fit as a bigger guy (6'2" 240lbs) I have to hold it in the position I want that is comfortable and then cinch it down as tight as I can which is a little uncomfortable.

I purchased this to use as a diaper bag for my first daughter. The sling pack allows me to access everything without taking the bag off, great for on the go changes. There is a large number of organizing pockets which allows me to optimize where everything goes so I won't ever need to search around. The amount of space is quite adequate for a diaper bag or an EDC bag. Overall construction meets the awesome 5.11 standard, so I know I'll be able to use this long after it no longer holds diapers, binkies, or wipes. It's enjoyable that people get a kick out of the "tactical diaper bag," but this is honestly a great use for it. As an added bonus, I can easily attach this to my RUSH or All Hazards bags. So it's also a great option if you want to have a great bug-out option intended to provide for an infant as well.

I was looking at another sling bag in a store, today, to see if I wanted to buy it for specific gear. Just touching that bag made me long for the MOAB 10 that was in the car. The quality of the outer material, the clips and compression straps, the pockets and the handles paled in comparison to the MOAB 10. I promptly put it back on the shelf, satisfied that 5.11 makes a much better sling bag.The MOAB 10 is a strong, sturdy, comfortable sling bag that I have carried with me on several trips around the country. It fits under the seats of airplanes and overhead on buses and trains with nary a problem. Like the of 5.11 backpacks I own, it's bigger on the inside than the outside. A theme running through all of my reviews. It's probably my favorite feature of all the backpacks.The two things that I must nitpick are that it isn't as compact as I would like when I use it for the Tier System, and the hidden gun pocket does not fit all full-sized handguns as advertised. Glocks, yes (as shone in the 5.11 videos). Other guns, not so much.To solve the first, I pack it into my Rush 72 with my other gear. It fits, perfectly there. And since I don't use a hydration system, I put my full-sized handgun in the hydration pouch, again, fitting, perfectly. And the back plate keeps the gun from poking me in the back.In other words, with a bit of ingenuity, one can make the MOAB 10 adapt as necessary.Even with those two nitpicks, I still gave it five stars. In fact, I like the bag so much, i bought two. That's how much I like it.

I purchased this bag to haul my laptop and other work supplies to and from the office. The bag itself is excellent. A+++ build quality, very roomy and well organized. I love the look as well. I would highly recommend this for students, hiking, range bag, carry on etc.With my laptop, charging cable, notebook and gadgets loaded, the shoulder strap does bite a bit into the neck area. I think this design is better suited to light loads. Being able to quickly slide the bag around to the front is a bonus is most situations, but the bag will slide off your back if you bend over (to tie your shoe, pick something up off the ground etc.)It also pains me to say it, and of course this is purely opinion, but unless your military or LEO, this is not a professional looking option for an office environment, especially in the sandstone colorway. I'm retiring this bag from office use and will pick up a Rush Delivery messenger (in black) for that instead. Still, great bag. Would recommend for lighter loads and recreational use!

This pack is just about perfect for my needs. I recommend that potential buyers pay close attention to what the pack is designed for. This will not replace a field ruck or a large backpack. I'm former military and really love the Molle system for the amazing flexibility; now I work in IT and travel frequently and this pack is terrific for 95% percentage of my needs. It is great for my work travel as well as leisure travel whether you are going just a few or thousands of miles. The Velcro is nice to slap on some of my old Army patches when I'm in the mood to show those off or remove them if I feel I need to (as in foreign travel). In my work I travel with a small 13" laptop with a padded sleeve and lots of accessories and am frequently walking distances under a mile, thus having to frequently put the pack on and take it off, this pack has been GREAT for that, and for situations where you are in and out of vehicles. The pack also fits with room to spare under the airplane seat and works great for that. I've also used it on hikes and snowshoeing under 5 miles and it seems great for that too. Be aware that after 3 or more miles the shoulder bearing the weight starts to feel it, but you can switch if you need to. Because of the pressure on one shoulder I don't recommend this for heavy loads but it is rugged enough to accommodate that too if you need to. This might not be an issue for younger folks, I'm middle aged. 5.11 would also do well to develop and adaptor that allows the wearer to utilize the other unused strap as well as the primary strap in situations where you need better stability. This leads to one of the negatives on the pack, if you need to bend over while wearing the pack and the strap is not tight enough the pack will slide around to the side of your body. This can be avoided by keeping the strap tight or holding it taught as you bend but is it something to be aware of. This is really a minor issue, all in all a great pack for lighter loads and highly mobile duties and travel.

The bag started out great, albeit stiff. Molle loops are excellent and allow plenty of expansion and flexibility. Overall this bag is tough, but a lot of the internal stitching is quite poor. Both of the key attachments and one of the secondary pockets broke after a month. The comms pouches zipper has started to separate from the sides. This is my primary bag, and I've kept pretty good care of it, but overall I was a little disappointed with the construction.

I also have the rush 72 like how I can use the teir system to connect the bags. The onlycomplaint would be how the pistol pocket gets too tight to access when the bag is full.

When I travel, I always have to pack 2-3 days worth of stuff making my primary pack not a practical place to put the other essentials like laptop, iPad, phones, camera, etc.The MOAB 10 allows me to travel, drop my gear and still have a lightweight, comfortable bag with all of the essentials as I tour the area, attend meetings, etc.It's also the perfect carry on especially when I have checked bags. If you've been looking for a great Everyday Carry bag, you've found it. A versatile bag that can go from carrying uniform items and extra shirts for work, to carrying a camelback bladder, kindle, hammock and an MRE for an afternoon hike. Perfect pockets for pens or firestarters (and that hidden pocket for my future Colt). The best feature for me is the one-shoulder sling. It's comfortable, stays in place even with a light jog, and has a huge snap clasp for removing the bag without pulling it over your head and snagging on any headgear.My one gripe is the zipper on the Coms pocket. Difficult to close one-handed over your shoulder because of that last corner, better to take it off your shoulder to zip it up.

It's comfortable, easy to carry and I love the fact that you can swap shoulders if you need to. The bag can actually carry a lot of stuff for the size and it's great for short 1-2 day trips. If you do week-long trips though, you might want to look at a larger model. As of this point, I have no complains; another great 5.11 product.

The bag is Great, I use it Dialy for work and Training classes, The hidden CC pocket is good, I switch from keeping a Colt 45 to a Glock 19 in it. The only down side to me is the the Front strap, it should come down more as the MOLE system rest too high up making what ever you put there rest up on your neck.

I LOVE THIS SLINGPACK!!!When looking for a new EDC/work bag I was looking for something with a high degree of organisation - lots of pockets for lots of stuff. I work as a Production Operative in a factory, and as a Wildlife Surveyor (mainly looking for bats as part of planning permission applications and conservation projects), hence the nickname. I normally don't buy sling packs but I liked the fact that this had a concealed carry pocket.profession is studentMy main uses are for just EDC and biking oh and a range bag. I converted the front admin pouch into a med-kit. I have everything I would need for basic first aid in there and it is convient for a "just in case" scenario. I also like to use this for a range bag that way I can keep my medkit and ammo together.This is large enough to hold a MacBook Pro no problem, as well as some other books. However, it is quite heavy with all that in there and a little uncomfortable. We use this for a medical bag to take on hikes for our Boy Scout Troop. We were able to load it with neccesary equipment and still have it light enough to carry on mountain climbs. It is just the right size for our needs.

The sling over single shoulder is ergonomically placed perfectly-sometimes I use a backpack and will only use one sling which keeps sliding off the shoulder unless I have a heavy load-then it cuts into shoulder. The MOAB pack does not slide whether under heavy or light load and sling stays put.

I've been using this product for about a week now. I carry it to the office and around town without anyone giving it a second look. A great way to carry a concealed handgun as well as most anything you may need on a daily basis. The biggest problem I have is the shoulder strap will oocasionally loosen up and the pack almost falls off. I think it could be a problem if I needed to run for a short distance hence the 4 stars.

I was going to purchase the maxpedition malaga but I seen someone wearing this bag at work and decided that this would be a way better choice. I was right. I use this bag for carrying all of my daily supplies I need for work, pens, notepasds, wireless mouse, and water bottle. After placing those things in the pack, the moab still hungered for more. I then realized that i can make this my all purpose bag. living in an urban enviorment, you never know what you might need an any given situation so, I soon added a first aid kit, all of the portable charging cords and extra battery for my phone and bluetooth. Still, I had more space! I call this my "urban every day carry 24 hour susvivsal bag". You will not go wrong buying this thing. I plan on purchasing the sandstone version in the future. I currently have black.

I am on the move a lot during my day and I like to keep some things on hand without having to carry a large bag. The Rush MOAB 10 is the perfect size for the gear I need. It fits my medical supplies, my knife, flashlight, water, and other essentials. My revolver even fits in the hidden pouch perfectly when I go to the range. My only complaint is that while running the pack slides around a bit. Other then that 5.11 makes a solid product.I will be returning to make more purchases. Thanks guys!

Overall this was a great purchase. This is a great backpack for a day trip or just to carry your stuff around in the city. The Molle system allows you to add extra space. Keep in mind that space is a bit limited but you can comfortably carry your phone, wallet, flashlight, gloves, gun etc. I would reccomend this pack to anyone looking for a small don't get in way pack.

I purchased this pack for special Ops, to carry the essentials needed to move to a forward position and to be able to lighten my load and bulk while completing my objective. I just revived this pack a couple of weeks ago, and have only used it in a training scenario. I look forward to running it through its paces in a real world situation. But so far it seems to function very well. It really could use another strap to hold it behind you when you bend down or lean over. I can't speak for the durability because I have only used it a couple of times. Seems to be well made like all the other 5.11 items I own. A little pricy for the MultiCam, but hey if it works and you don't get caught then its money well spent . That's my two cents worth!

I've had this bagpack for only a few weeks and I've already taken it with me to several hikes and camping trips, not to mention I use it every day for school. I have to say I was a bit concerned about carrying my laptop in it but it has actually worked really well so far. I love the fact that you can swap from right to left shoulder since I walk a lot and if it starts to hurt I can always switch sides. Great for 1 to even 2 day camping trips but if you want something that will hold 1 week's worth of stuff you might want to look at a bigger backpack.So far, no complains at all. I've had this bagpack for over a month now and I've already taken it with me to the shooting range, to several hikes and a couple camping trips. I also carry it every day for school and work and I haven't had a single problem. It is very comfortable and I love the fact that it's ambidextrous. Great for a 1-2 day camping trip but if you're planning on going on week-long adventures, you might want to look at a larger model. No complains so far. Yet another great 5.11 product.

I have used this bag as an every day carry bag, for Paramedic school, for Fire Dept, Rock Climbing, Hiking, Shooting, And most importantly For carrying my full frame Glock. The fact that i have the ability to conceal a pistol that can hold 20 rounds plus an extra mag is amazing. Today I was hit by a Car while I was crossing the street. The impact threw me 7-10 feet and this bag kept my head from bouncing off the pavement. The outside is still in great shape and only a cheap plastic case was broken in the pack. This is also a great pack. But let me tell you that when you get thrown across the street and can walk away from it because of your pack, that is an awesome backpack.

I use this bag every day and like it more all the time. I've experienced none of the construction issues some of the early reviews talk about. Mine is very well made.I carry my 15" MacBook Pro, iPad, all the accessories, extra magazine, and it works great.The concealed carry pocket is a big plus when I don't want a holstered weapon.The Comm Pouch is also very useful to stash an iPhone and run the ear buds out of the access.

This bag is great for school and travel, both of which I do often. My dad got this for me before we went abroad last year, along with the RUSH 24. We also bought the RUSH 24 Backpack, and the RUSH Tier System, which, so you all know, is unnecessary, because it is in the hydration pouch slot when you buy it. This was not completely explicit, because we bought through U.S. Cavalry. Over the past year and a half it has proved to a great product and I highly recommend it.

I bought this bag to use as a lightweight go bag. I carry it just about every where. My 3 year old son demanded his own "man bag" so he got the moab6, my seven year old daughter wanted the rush 12 the school because they love my bag. I find the organizer to be extremely useful, the weapons pocket is never empty. The bag is durable, I just today had a motorcycle accident, I slid on my back for about thirty feet at 40 miles an hour, the bag barely shows any fraying, aside from the carry handle being a little beat up, and a few small holes from gravel. It simply made the bag look a little older. I certainly will not be parting with it for quite some time.

Nice bag, tons of pockets (after months of owning it I recently discovered another hidden segment :)). It's big enough to take stuff with you for day activities, but small enough to make sure you're not just taking all kinds of junk with you you don't really need. The only downfall is the strap and the way it sits on my back. The strap rubs my neck. Tactical Tailor has a similar bag that has a better shaped strap, but it lacks many of the cool options this bag has. I've tried a Domke USPS holder on it, but the 'comms pocket' makes it difficult to put it properly. I also find it slides down a bit too happily.

I bought this to replace another sling pack that finally disintegrated. Construction and design are top notch, as is the material used. This bag works very well as a book/trail bag for me depending on what I have stowed in it. It fits my large-ish frame very well, and is adjustable for the smaller folks as well.I really appreciate the phone/iPod/MP3 player pocket-it's an elegant solution to storing these items AND earbuds.

First 511 product I own. Most bags last me ten years or more so my purchases are rare. I am a combat veteran rigger so survival equipment is what I know. Most bags or packs I get do not meet what I want so I shop for the closest thing and then I modify for me and others. This pack is different and well thought out. I often would see a single strap and think "yuppie." This bag breaks that barrier for me due to it's functionality. My favorite is the conceal pocket right off the back. With minimal practice you can sling the pack to the chest and in one motion catch the roped zipper and waiting is your weapon. Holds a 5 " tactical barrel perfectly. The additional straps that come with are great. Mildly skeptical at first but after some mounting they are great. I wish there were metal molllie hooks instead of plastic, that is the reason for 4 stars and it's not made in the USA but it is a 5 star bag. The quality is there. I could go on and on but has everything for it's size. Keep your most valueable things in it and sling it to the front in your sight line, throw your large pack on your back and move out. The main compartment usually contains my running gear which consist of 2 shirts, sweat shorts & my Vibram Treksports FiveFingers and a few other things, the rest of the compartments are filled with work related stuff including the comms pocket were my phone is, what I like about this bag is the ability to move it up front with ease and the organization forces you to neatly put away your stuff which is awesome, this is the number one problem I have with my older bag..... It would be nice to have a longer shoulder strap and when the bag is swung from front and back repeatedly it gives a bit of slack so I have to readjust, I think this could be solve by installing a web dominator but overall this is an awsome EDC grab and go work bag for me, I only have to buy a few things such as Web Dominators, 6.6 Med Pouch & H2O Carrier and some morale patches then I'm good to go. GREAT JOB 5.11.

This is a great bag. I use it for just about everything, from going out to the range to spending the night in a hotel. It works both in a tactical environment and a casual everyday one. The one bad thing I can say about this bag is that the bottom strap just kind of dangles around, there is no retaining strap or velcro pad to attach it to, but other then that I love this bag.

I bought this pack when I was working in Twentynine Palms, CA as an instructor/trainer at the Marine base near by. I needed a bag to carry my gear from the barracks, to the shop, to the range, and back again. It also needed to be compact enough to fit at my feet in the front of a hummvee, and tough enough to not fall apart after being thrown around. And it did all of these things MANY times better than my "hawk of a black color" bag.Now I use it to shuttle my laptop and gear back and forth from work, and it fits my 15" laptop like a glove. This was a gift to my son from his GMA. Here is what he has told me. Works great for school,to carry of pens, pencils, notepads, The two slots that can hold M4 mags are great to carry a soda or other drink in. Carry cell phone in the pocket on on shoulder strap or my IPOD. He loves to use it to carry ohter general goods in for day hikes. Easy to adjust strap to go over cold weather clothes.

This is a great multi-use bag. I have used this on several bicycle trips I have taken. I use this bag regularly as a DSLR camera bag because it is lightweight but has a lot of internal storage for different lenses and spare batteries. Also, because it is light and comfortable, I find myself taking my camera places I wouldn't usually. This means that I get more and better pictures and video; all because of this bag! Also, I have mine in the double tap color which looks great and means I don't feel weird about taking my bag to work (important because I'm an attorney and not a law enforcement officer). Lastly, this bag really seem durable enough to last a lifetime. I have had other more expensive packs that didn't feel as study as this one does. Great all around pack.

I bought this product because I usually prefer sling bags over tradition 2 strapped bags. This bag will be used mainly for school and for overnight stay. I agree, the bag is overkill for these activities, but I wanted something strong, durable, and attractive.The only thing that I would improve on this bag is that it needs to be able to expand. It has a nice form factor to it, but I wished the front pocket can expand abit from the bottom because you're not going to be able to store too much without bulking in the middle.

The sling is not very comfortable. it digs into your shoulder. Extra padding sleeve needed; which I took from Pacsafe slingbag I've owned.A plug for the drain hole at the bottom of the bag would be a nice option to have for those who's doesn't need a drain hole. I used a plastic snap-on button to do the job.The positives notes are, a very well-made bag, durable and very roomy inside..and it expandable with MOLLE attachments.I used it to carry Macbook air and/or ipad, and some daily bits for traveling, and I use a small or medium drop pouch on the side MOLLE for bottle water and extras. at the price.. it's a steal..

I am a military professional, and I bought this bag to work with my RUSH 72 backpack. It is very easy to move around with it, it holds all I need on a daily basis, and when you put the water bottle holder/medium drop pouch with it, it is absolutely perfect if you don't want "too much" in a day-to-day bag. Very, very easy to get in/out of the car, and you can tighten the shoulder strap for over the shoulder quick carry (opposed to the cross body shoulder carry). It doesn't tend to want to slip off the shoulder in this carry mode like most standard backpacks do. Seems very balanced and you just can't beat the 5.11 construction. I've used numerous other brands, which are quality bags, but none come close to the look, build, and utility of these backpacks. It just works. They have put a LOT of time doing their homework, and apparently listened to their customers. I LOVE THIS BAG!

This is a relative large bag for EDC or somewhat small for a school bag. It has a ton of pockets and is well organized. It can hold a laptop or ipad. It makes a great smaller carry on bag for flights and the switchable strap makes it easy to carry on either the right or left shoulder. I have also used this as a camera bag for my DSLR on a trip to Iwo Jima where I carried my camera, several lenses and some extra clothes. Its not as well organized as a true camera bag might be, but worked well for the occasion. Check out my video for a much more comprehensive review.

My girlfriend overheard me saying that I needed an everyday bag to carry my work items, a change of clothes as well as a nice place to conceal a weapon. She surprised me with this bag and I use it every day. You can easily fit the essentials you need as well as having a safe place to store a weapon if you don't feel like carrying on your waist. The mobility of the bag is phenomenal and allows you to access the weapon pocket very quickly. Also, you can fit a variety of handguns as well as an extra magazine if needed. I carry my S&W bodyguard or my Kimber ultra carry typically and have never had any issues. 511 did a wonderful job with this. Simple, practical and reliable.

I use this bag for work and it is perfect. Holds my Note Pad/Folder and my 13" MacBook Pro, plus countless other pockets for my charging cables, reading mags, and other odds/ends. The concealed compartment is literally almost invisible and if you didn't know it was there, would go unnoticed. One thing I have to add is that it would be tough to fit a hydration bladder in the bag w/ the main compartment loaded. I'm not saying its impossible, but it might be tight and produce a bulge in your back. P.S. There is no shortage of PALS webbing; that was the icing on the cake!

I use it to carry basic motorcycle pocket gear and also for additional items that I am transporting. It doesn't carry a huge amount of additional items, but is good for light loads of fairly small items.Initially I thought that I had to choose between collar bone pressure or jugular vein pressure by the strap .. after 2 months use, that problem is gone. I'm very happy with it after a brief "getting used to it" period.

I use this bag as my personal stage 1 bug out bag aka the bag to get me to homebase. Its a little flashy but durable as the day is long. I've already taken it on a couple 2 day hikes. It works wonderfully for the minimalist. However, I am wary about loading it down. A single strap is less effective for load bearing but thats not what this bag is for. I also can't say enough about the YKK zippers. Its hard to get them to malfunction and their dang near waterproof.

I ride a bicycle to and from work. I got this bag because of the lower profile then my other bag. I like the fact that it has alot of pockets. It took a week to get used to the single shoulder strap, but now I love the single strap and the bag dosen't sift around like I thought it would from the single stap. The other day I road an hour in the pooring rain and the inside of the bag was dry. Great product.

Having spent the better part of my life, both professional and non, in the great (and not so great) outdoors, I'm always on the lookout for unique/better ways to haul my gear. This pack provides an exceptional alternative to the standard day-pack. The fit may take a little adapting (I have some rather nasty lower lumbar issues so the pack played tricks on my back, but I am atypical in that category), however the ability to quickly transition the pack from transport (on the back) to engage (shift the load to the front) greatly outweighs any minor discomforts. For those with more "unique" needs, it's very easy to transition your pack to the front and access a concealed weapon (roughly two seconds) - or gain access to your keys, wallet, camera, etc. I managed to pack a spartan, yet quality field trauma kit, a medium sized Otterbox, change of clothing, water-bladder, extra hydration, and two forms of projectile personal protection devices with enough room remaining for a Snickers Bar.

I bought this bag to carry completely concealed while mountain biking utilizing the back up belt system. It's a great bag. I added a strap to go across my waist. Without it the bag swayes side to side periodically. I also bought a 70 ounce camel back to go in it that works awesome. With the camel back in it you just can't use the soft lined zipper pouch on the top. The bag is great for hiking as well. It holds all my gear without being all disorganized. I bought teir system straps to attach it to my rush 24 if need be but it already comes with some. That is not mentioned in the product description.

I really like this bag, but have one complaint. The CCW pocket has velcro to keep it shut, which is great. However, the rough side of the velcro is on the top and it therefore rubs the heck out of the top of your hand. I think the rough side should be on the bottom so that it rubs against your palm instead. The skin on my palm is way more tough than the skin on top of my hand. I was practicing my pistol draw out of this bag when I first got it and the top of my hand is totally raw and chewed up from the velcro.

I purchased this bag as an accessory to the 72 RUSH which is my BOB because of the tier system. However this bag has developed a place of its own in my everyday routine. It's tough, reliable and practical. If I'm going anywhere this bag is with me. It carries so much more than one would expect from the small foot print. I carry on a daily basis sunglasses, first aid gear, flash light and spare batteries,a change of clothes and various other gear. I carry this as a camp bag which usually is outfitted with a full size kabar, 2 full size pistols (one in the carry compartment the other in a hard case, 4 magazines, fire kit, 100 feet of parachord, head lamp, hydration bladder, and a 12" hatchet. I still have room for gloves and extra socks etc. Overall this bag is great for everyday carry of personal items that may not be used everyday but are great to have on hand if needed. Purchasing some of the small molle pouches by 5.11 adds to the carry ability greatly.

I bought two of these bags as part of my tiered EDC system. My wife and I keep one of each in our vehicle as our tier 1 EDC kits. The pack works well and really lends itself to this type of use. The load on this pack is relatively small, but for what I use it for, it's fine. The different compartments make organizing the pack easy and the fact that I can attach it to larger packs in my tier 2 and 3 bags make it even better. I would recommend this pack.

I use this bag as an everyday bag. My main purpose is to have it as a conceal carry bag as well as a get home bag if need be but also use for packing lunch and other everyday use items.This bag is built in a way that should last me for many, many years. I have no problem throwing this bag around and it holding up to the abuses.I found two problems with this bag. As most people have noted, the conceal carry pouch is difficult to get at when the bag is full. Getting your hand in, grab the firearm and pulling it out is very difficult and can be painful (depending on what's in the admin pocket and the Velcro). Possible Solution: I think the solution to this is to add an additional strip of fabric along the sides and bottom of the pouch (1/2-inch strip) or an elastic strip along that boarder.The second problem is that the water tube hole and the sunglasses at the top of the bag don't work together. You have to chose one or the other and can't use both. If you use the water hose, the sunglasses pocket is useless and if you use the sunglasses pocket you can't use the water hose.Possible Solution: Is to swap the locations of the two access points. This will allow you to use both items without them interfering with each other.I hope this helps and I do recommend this bag regardless. The solutions that I have in place now is that I had to buy an additional 5.11 (6"x6")admin pouch and water-bottle pouches on the sides (left and right sides). Doing this made access to my conceal carry much easier and I was also able to carry water and use the sunglasses pocket.

I use this product while hiking for the most part since I only owned this product for a little over a month. All in all it's a good product, but one inexpensive change could improve this product. My main issue with this product was since I use a long hydration tube with my hydration system there was nothing to hold it in place while I was on the move. So to solve this problem I would recommend incorporating a clip or a Velcro strap built on the backpack's strap to hold the tube in place, but allows for easy detachment. I took a picture of my quick fix; it's crude but it works.The other issue is just a minor personal preference, but it does get a bit uncomfortable using one strap as opposed to two, but the fact I can just swing the pack around and use it on the move was a huge plus and dwarfs this minor problem.Everything else such as the space inside the bag, it's practicality, durability, and versatility earns it a 4 out of 5. I definitely don't regret buying this product. As I use it more and find flaws with this product I'll be sure to file in more suggestions.

I bought this bag to meet my EDC system requirements of getting in and out of vehicles, a bag smaller than a backpack- to fit under my feet while traveling in a car, molle/pals webbing to attach pouches externally, and carry general kit while wearing athletic clothes as I am a track and cross country coach (for know at least) and don't have lots of pockets; plus, I don't like having to take everything out of my pockets before running/showing kids how to exercise etc. My general kit includes lots of keys to the school buildings and locks, phone, wallet, knife, first aid kit, nalgene bottle, cordage sections, sometimes a macbook pro 13in with power/internet cords, multitool, jackets, gloves, change of clothes, etcI added a "other companies" Single Sheath pouch to carry my multitool on the outside as well as the "other companies" M-1 Pouch for my phone/camera/quick storage. I would recommend adding a small 4x4 pouch (anything 1in deep or less) to the front for increased storage without overloading the front zippers, as I attached a "other companies" first aid pouch and ended up with a bloated front section. I like the sling pack concept because when standing or entering a vehicle the bag doesn't need to be taken off in order to access items like keys, wallets, water. Bag fits underneath feet in vehicle while traveling so electronics or small items can be accessed easily. This bag is good for a trip with a duration of 1-2 days with a underwear/shirt change. Anything beyond that and I would bring along a duffel. Great tourist style bag for roaming cities/towns with non heavy load. Used it while rock climbing but would not take this rock climbing again as there wasn't enough room for harness, shoes, biners, extra rack etc The strap kept coming loose from the position I liked so I took the buckle and inverted it (more resistance on the strap webbing) then tied the tail end down to the external pals webbing so it wouldn't come loose. Coms pocket is useless to me because I have to take the bag off in oder to access anything inside it. Pack is constructed of durable material with no problems with it coming apart. I have not used the CCW pocket except to carry a 3.5'' Hard Drive but I can say that I could not feel the HDD in the pocket so a gun of similar size would disappear as well. I have two 5.11 wishes. 1. extend the padding on the shoulder strap so that pouches when attached in that location sit farther down the shoulder instead of ontop. 2. Widen the 'water bladder' section of the pack so one could better fit my macbookpro. There is space but only if one crams the pro in there. 5.11 could add another zipper on the panel nearest the water bladder section which would allow for easier access to a laptop if need be.

I am a paramedic that is dispatched all over the country for different assignments. This bag carries my drug kit, iPad, phone, books, notebooks, pens, medical instruments, sunglasses, passport, wallet, extra shirt, hydration pack, chargers and cords, gps unit, camera, and should I keep going? This is what I carry with me at all times on these assignments. When I am at home it is my range bag carrying ammo and easily concealing my pistol. The bag also doubles as my briefcase when I am lecturing. I love the bag and the construction is awesome. My only two colpmaints are that I didn't get my free hat when I ordered the bag initially, and that a simple waist band like the one made for the messenger bag would make this bag complete for when I ride my bike instead of driving.

I have used this pack for over a year. My wife bought me this pack as a gift, and little did she know how much use it would get. The only wear I have noticed is very slight color fade with the Dark Earth color. I think the materials and design are top notch, bringing me to buy more 5.11 packs as I see the need. I use this pack on a daily basis, both work days and days off. I use it so much my K9 knows we are going somewhere if I walk through the house with the bag. The hydration pouch easily holds a full size, 100oz water reservoir. I carry a Lithium-powered tactical light, hand sanitizer, small snacks, and various other convenience items. I am thrilled how easy it is to conceal a full size handgun and several additional magazines. The front-sling feature permits easy access to all parts of the bag. Though I do not use the Comms pocket for coms, it quietly holds a pair of handcuffs. If it is loaded with a lot of weight, the single shoulder strap can become tiring, but this pack is not intended to be a LOAD ALL pack.5.11 hit the nail on the head with this pack. Although it can't fit everyone's desires, it definitely fits most needs.

After doing research on several products, I selected the MOAB 10. I have been pleased with it's construction and thought into the product. I am a police officer and emt. There is pleanty of room for everyday carry and my special gear for MACTAC. I am very pleased with the hidden pocket to carry my off duty weapon. The single strap is great. I can sling my AR, rotate the MOAB 10 to the front and reach my medical gear to care for a downed officer or victim. Great product. I will be purchasing other 5.11 bags for tactical work.

I bought this pack to replace my messenger bag that I use day to day for work as well as business trips. I like that I can use it for work and still have my full frame gun and spare mags hidden away without the worry of someone seeing all of it when I open the pack for regular use.I found myself walking around Portland last month for an entire day in the rain with a full pack. I was pretty amazed at how comfortable it was with a heavy load. I walked 8-10 miles (most of it in the rain) and was never uncomfortable. The main compartments stayed completely dry, but the small little pouch for communications devices didn't stay dry. I wasn't really worried about it because I just had business cards stored up there.Overall I love how utilitarian this pack is. Whoever designed it clearly put a lot of thought into the little aspects that suck about most bags. It doesn't jus took cool, it works just as well.

this is a great EDC bag. i use it everyday for the past 2 months. its well built keeps stuff dry as long as its not in a down poor for to long, and it looks great i get a lot of complements on at work and in college. BUT there are to things i really dont like they are. ONE: there is no stabilizer strap so when u bend over the abg hits you in the face. i did make one for the tiering starps that it came with though. TWO: the sholder strap rides your neck if you have the bag sitting as it should on your back. BUT if you let it ride a bit lower theres no real problem. all in all a great bag and i dont leave home without it. THX 5.11 :)

My friend has the bailout bag and I got the MOAB so I could use it for traveling, etc... and not just when using my AR in the field. Turns out it works great for both and I love it for traveling. Top pocket is perfect for wallet/passport/etc... when going through security and the bag is perfect size for carry-on(small laptop or ipad) and day trips. It's real well made so I can use it in the field (which is why I bought it in the firest place). It is exactly as advertised, if you want a smaller bag that fits what you need day trips or hiking/hunting/patrolling and stays out of your way while walking this bag is what you're looking for.

Best pack I've ever used. Just the right size for me. Some brands out there over-think their bags and are composed of pockets galore. This becomes problematic as they end up sacrificing the main compartment. This pack handles that issue perfectly. The pack can be slung in front of you very rapidly if you want to get into it. The shoulder-strap is heavily padded and comfortable to wear. Zippers slide extremely smoothly.When running, the pack suffers some stability issues with a lot of movement. 511 should come up with a simple stabilizing bungee strap similar to the one Maxpedition packs feature.Additionally, the first bag I ordered came defective with a 3/4 inch tear on the side.This bag isn't perfect, but it's extremely close. While I would like to see 511 sell a simple stabilizing strap, this can be easily done yourself.I will say that 511 should sell this pack in a COVRT form. Just get rid of the velcro spots for patch attachments and I'd buy another one for daily use.

First off, let me just say 5.11 customer service is the BEST customer service I have ever dealt with in my life. I own two RUSH 24 Bags - I purchased my first (coyote) about 3.5 years ago while in college for a general camping/outdoor bag. My other bag (black) was purchased about 1.5 years ago to keep my PT gear in that would go well with my ABUs. The coyote colored bag's threading near the zipper started to come undone after years of use, and I emailed 5.11 last week and they are sending me a BRAND NEW backpack!!! Incredible. What other company EVER takes care of customers in this manor? Not only that, but the customer service rep I spoke to let me change the color to sandstone, since that was not available when I originally purchased the bag. Because of things like this, I have gone back to 5.11 again and again.Now, back to the MOAB 10. I have owned this for over a year and it has held up incredibly well. I have used it on many outdoor operations where it has been soaked completely underwater for hours, been in over 100 degree heat for days, run over by a golf cart while working security at a large festival, and been thrown around daily. It doesnt have a single tear or rip or seam coming undone. I have owned backpacks much more expensive than this that claim to be "outdoor" and "durable" packs (yes NorthFace and Marmot, I'm talking to YOU!) and they are a joke. Most don't last a week. If the operation doesnt get to them, the load does and the shoulder strap(s) rip. No problems with that on any of my 5.11 bags, and they have been loaded so heavy its hard to pick them up. Long story short: You CANNOT go wrong with this, or any of the other 5.11 bags and products. And if you somehow do manage to break something, 5.11 has your back!Thank you 5.11, you are beyond great and are how American business's should be.

I like the single strap design, but was worried that one would have to wear the bag over my left shoulder. I'm usually a right-shoulder guy, but figured I could adapt.Imagine my surprise when I learned this pack is TOTALLY SWAPPABLE! You can connect the strap to either side and ALL of the internals operate from either direction.How on earth is this not prominently touted in the product description? I love this bag even more now! (But i do still usually use it right-handed, so it can hold another carry sidearm)

I was looking for a small pack to use as an airline carry-on. This backpack came out 4 weeks before my flight. Perfect timing! It holds my noise-canceling headphones, light-weight rain jacket, neck support pillow, and my tablet. I use the numerous pockets to hold my keys, wallet, sunglasses, cell phone, and all my chargers. The ability to quickly move and access the bag to your front make it an ideal place to store boarding passes, itineraries, documents, airport/transit maps, etc. It is also very durable. I feel like I can abuse the heck out of it for many years. If you are looking for a good practical pack that needs to be smaller than a regular backpack, this is the pack for you!

This bag needs more straps within the main body. With some modest modifications it could hold a folder AK, Plus an AR upper, with the lower stored in the outside compartment. (it can now but not secured) I would recommend thinking about a shorter bag that would accomodate an AR (or 2) but with provisions to remove the upper and have a shorter solution that carriers the AR broken down by upper and lower. 30" +/- in length etc.

I bought two of these bags as part of my tiered EDC system. My wife and I keep one of each in our vehicle as our tier 1 EDC kits. The pack works well and really lends itself to this type of use. The load on this pack is relatively small, but for what I use it for, it's fine. The different compartments make organizing the pack easy and the fact that I can attach it to larger packs in my tier 2 and 3 bags make it even better. I would recommend this pack.

Pro: I like the bag. It rides well and my radio gear fits.Con: The sling design appears to be incorrect. While I can switch from a left to right carry, what am I supposed to do with the unattached strap? It would make more sense to install the strap clasps on the lower tabs and then have one strap as an integral part of the sling. Either that or install two additional strap clasps on the lower tabs to allow the use of the "extra" strap as a waist cinch.

I like the bag for a layering equipment concept as well as a "get home bag" for my wife's car. Lower profile and low conspicious factor. Waiting for it to come out in OD Green before I buy one for myself.

I bought this pack because my PUSH Pack is too little for my EDC needs. My PUSH Pack is comfortable, but this pack is not. The strap digs into my neck unless I have a coat or a collared shirt on. I really wanted to like this pack, but for me, it's just not comfortable. I tried out a MOAB 6 the other day and there is an extra pad that makes it more comfortable, so I might take the one off my PUSH pack and see if that helps.The pockets in the admin compartment are great, and for a smaller day use pack, it's plenty roomy. The sunglasses pocket is useless if you are using a hydration bladder, as the hose makes getting to the pocket almost impossible. Also, if you plan to dock this pack to something else, be careful of mounting things to the side, as this can make it difficult.

I Was Recently At Shot Show 2011 And Happen To Be A Huge Fan Of 5.11 Gear So I Checked Out Their Display When I Was Wondering Around. I Have To Say That When I Looked At This Item I Was Kind Of Confused On The Pack Itself, I Mean One Strap? Thats Kind Of Odd... It Was Interesting Watching The Salesmen Present This Item As It Obviously Hasnt Been Used Before, And I Have To Admit The 5.11 Staff Nailed It! He Sold Me On Spot With Only About 5 Minutes Of Listening To Him. Bought this bag 3 days ago and already got it. This bag is great it holds my Mac Book and some other things that I take to work with me. i will be using this bag also when I go hiking. I also have the rush 72 and it works great when piggy backed up to it, also hoping to get another one to keep as a go bag also. I added some small extra molle attachments to it also so I can keep some of my stuff in easy to reach spots.

Use the bag to go to and from the PD, during SWAT operations, training and around town. The single sling is unique but can be awkward if it carried around the shoulder and not across the chest.The organizational compartments are top-notch and fit pens, paper, sunglasses, keys etc. Material is sturdy and the size is right to carry NECESSARY items. If you are planning on carrying many items this bag is not for you.I carry some food, a bottle of water, a handgun and an extra shirt. It gets the job done and I get a lot of compliments on it. Check this out as well as the RUSH 12. Can't go wrong either way.

This is an excellent bag of EDC or even school. It's made of sturdy materials and is very well made in my opinion. My only complaint is that the concealed weapon pocket is hard to access if you tend to have a lot of stuff in the front pocket. Other than that, I highly recommend this bag.

I have a small compact laptop and wanted a backpack that could hold this as well as a few other items for on the go. One small pack with lots of capabilities and storage for it's size. The Ambidextrous cross-body shoulder strap system works great. Throw it over your shoulder and go. Non of the problems with a reg pack where it falls off your shoulders when only using a single strap. Of course with the tier system you can option this pack for optimal use.

I wanted a pack for Hiking... I have had "lumbar packs" etc... and wanted something to also "conceal carry" the .45, when hiking... something easy to "get to my stuff" quickly... This pack is it. Very well made. Comfortable. I am looking forward to outfitting and putting this pack to daily use. I will add an update after some time of use.

I bought this product to go hiking and even just use from time to time on day trips and I REALLY love it. When I got the pack, it was bigger than I thought it was going to be, but it still serves its purpose. It definately has plenty of room and great pockets to hold my glasses (without putting too much pressure on that area) and my phone. I love the back pads too, very comfortable to wear. Plus I can easily spin the bag in front of me to get whatever I need without having to take the pack off. Good Choice.

I found our the Moab6 was a little small for the tactical pistols. So I went to the Quartermaster and grabbed the Moab10 for the big guns, and the use of the liquid bladder. It will be a hot one out in the dunes this weekend, but I'll feel pretty confident in my bags.

This pack is the supreme ruler of packs. Use for school, work, leisure, sport, etc.... I have made it a habit to carry things I would need should the unexpected happen or in case of an emergency. I hate being ill-prepared. But I could never find a pack with the level of utility I was in need of...until I found the RUSH MOAB 10! The bag as shipped is great in and of itself. Excellent pocket design and ease of access. But what is better is that with the wonderful Molle attachments, one can completely customize the bag with endless combinations. I can carry first-aid, water, reading materials, electonics, anything a Molle attachment can hold, and weapon(s).Only caveat: My sunglasses were to big to easily slide in and out of the sunglasses pocket. I wear Iron-Man sunglasses and they are bulky. But this may be a personal problem...bleh. This pack is a must if you are a everyday carrier or just need a reliable pack to carry essential items with.

I was hoping to love this pack. Which I did until I found some flaws that I think are too big to not talk about. But let's talk about the good qualities first:-I love how relatively low profile this bag is. It's not too big, but big enough to pack in a netbook or laptop that are smaller than or equal to 13" (diagonally), Along with a few other items.-The hidden compartment is a great idea for Concealed Carry... or hiding candy to the theater :)- the TIER system is an amazing idea. It's great for traveling distances too close for a travel bag but too far to not bring anything. It could also be used for backpacking/hiking where you have one larger bag to get to where you want to be and a smaller one to carry important things with you (first aid kit, lighting, water, snacks, etc.)Now the cons:- I wish the bottom of the bag was a bit more spacious. I feel that the further down you go inside the main compartment, the smaller amount of space you get.- I tried to catch a bus while wearing this (made it! btw) and this thing was practically going everywhere. I'd like to see the next rendition use the other bottom strap used to make the pack more secure (like the 5.11 Select Carry Sling Pack). Maybe a two way clip? Or another clip that runs perpendicular that's detachable like 5.11 Tier Clips.- I didn't like how the bottom strap would just dangle there. If 5.11 could add some velcro to it, so the excess could just stick to the strap. Or maybe use some kind of stretchy fabric so that it will be less visible when in use.Overall it's a great pack, but when you get into the details there's a lot of flaws with it.

I've really never owned a bag so well suited to my lifestyle. I'm a bike messenger in Manhattan and use this for my routes- I have no trouble fitting any packages that i'm assigned to deliver with this bag. The clipping shoulder strap really does it for me though, the bag literally comes off in a snap, allowing me to make my deliveries faster- which is important in this field.I also use this bag for carrying my books, and 13 inch laptop to and from class. Again, never a space problem- this thing fits it all.In addition, I've also made use of it as a camera bag. My full-frame DSLR kit and extra lenses all fit fine, and the reinforced material provides adequate padding for it. The water-resistant nylon did a great job of protecting my gear from rain when I went out shooting in the recent hurricane.I highly recommend this bag!

The pack seems a bit small at 1st, but it holds everything I need for a day hike or just running around town. I found I had to find the comfort spot for the sling to sit in. Now I don't even notice it. I average about 10 - 11 lbs with the pack and find it pretty comfortable.Wish it did have another outside pocket or two, but not a show stopper at all.

I purchase this bag after using other sling packs by a different manufacturers. The others I tried were not comfortable for extended period, and I didn't like the way they were divided for use when the pack was moved to the front of the body. This unit is well designed and a lot of thought went into the internal layout of the many storage areas. A good location was selected for a small water bladder, eliminating bottles hanging on the pack. With the layout of this pack I'm able to have all my normal gear contained in the various pockets and slots of the interior, while still maintaining fast access to my firearm. With this pack I have no requirement for extra pouches attached to the sides. This allows a smaller profile when riding or moving through a crowd. I did replace the factory zipper pulls with some knotted paracord. I like having a larger gripping service when I try to open a zipper in a hurry. After using this item for two weeks my previous bags are up for sale. I'm sold on this design.

This is one of the best purchases I have ever made. If your looking for an everyday commuting bag, THIS IS IT! If I had to make one change to the bag to make this completely and absolutly perfect, I would say that it needs the small zipper compartment above the large zippered administrative compartment as you would find on the Rush series bags. This compartment is very helpfule for storing Keys and small quick grab items. I highly recomend adding the Strobe / GPS Pouch for your iPhone or Android phone and mount it on the side of your bag that when you spin the bag in front of you your phone is right there.

For a while I have wanted to purchase a sling bag, but could not find one that I liked the look of until the MOAB 10 arrived. This bag is an excellent everyday carry pack for whatever your needs are. I use this bag to carry around just about anything I need, ranging from medical supplies to books. The pack, as are all 5.11 products, is well constructed and designed. The bag is very sturdy leaving me no reason to worry when throwing it around. The mesh pockets inside the main compartment are great for storing small items that you want to be able to locate easily. The main compartment is also large enough to carry an impressive amount of gear. The ambidextrous design is great for someone like myself who is a left handed shooter, and the concealed carry compartment is large enough to fit a full frame pistol. Even when worn for extended periods of time the pack is comfortable. Lastly, the tier system is a great way to attach the pack to any molle equipped gear including other backpacks and armor vests. Overall this bag is an outstanding addition to the 5.11 lineup.

Where to start.. I already own the Rush Messenger bag and the MOAB6. Both very pratical and I have no complaints about them. Enter the MOAB10. Great bag. Very pratical for my hikes and days out. I also use it when I go to work. Already in the first few days I got asked where I get this goodlooking bag. Very practical, good in all weather conditions,love all those handy compartments. This has got to be the best slinger I ever bought.Period.That's the reason why I sold my maxpedition kodiak gearslinger.Padded shoulder strap is very comfortable.Easy to adjust and with the quick release buckles makes the moab 10 break away fast.Liking the left or right adjustment sling.Padded back w/ ventilation helps keep your tired and sweaty back cool after those 12 mile ruck marches..just kidding. The 050D cordura/water resistant is the best in the business.PALS webbing makes it more useful in attaching extra utility pouches for more of that extra cubic inches.This pack is very well made.Rough and tough.From the moment I purchase this moab 10 I felt so good and knowing that 5.11 makes awesome products.Mahalos 5.11.You guys are the best.AIRBORNE ALL THE WAY!!!!
