This is the second one I own so far. Going to the range with a bulky protective case is not ideal. Single pistol case is well built, not heavy, and provides pistol with plenty of padding. A few of these in a duffle will keep pistols organized and protected. No need for images, just buy it. You wont regret it.

Very nice case overall but it's a little small for full sized pistols especially with a magwell. I can't see my Shadow 2 or 320 X5 fitting in there with an optic installed.

It offers excellent protection for the pistols to transport to the range., much better than taking two plastic cases with me. Since it is made to carry two handguns, it should have more magazine straps instead of just three on each side. 5.11 should have put in six mag straps on each side.

This thing is great. It is everything that is needed and nothing extra. Holds my pistol perfectly in padded protection, as well as 5 extra mags. It will fit a standard 4.5 service pistol as well as a 4 .357 DA revolver. It is discreet from the outside and is perfect for dropping in an emergency backpack or vehicle if a handgun is a desired addition. Or for a nice case just to take to the range

Use the bag(s) I purchased to transport firearms to the range. I like that there is magazine storage and the pistols are well protected. Could improve the mag strap spacing thus making them tighter to accommodate smaller single stack magazines and/or add an additional sixth strap for an extra magazine holder or accessory item. That said they do the job and I am considering buying more.

Very good soft case, however the Maxpedition has some advantages over the 5.11. A Velcro/loop patch on the outside is very helpful. The same patch on the inside would also be welcome, and two loops on the inside bottom of the case are useful.

I can carry my Canik TP9SA Mod 2 in the holster in the gun pocket along with speed loader and four magazines no problem. Could replace one of the above with knife or flashlight. Great to take to the range.

Meets the requirements. Not sure why the external wall behind the mags isnt stitched. It is only secured with Velcro. Could be to allow for more padding (not included).

My half wanted a smaller range bag. After extensive online search, this one stood taller others in its size range, based on materials, features, zipper quality (very important), price, maker reputation, and warranty. Wife was delighted with this bag, which gets her to the range with a PX4, P365, magazines, 200 rounds, plus all the other essentials. NOTE: Interior compartment size given as 13"L, 10.25"W, 8.75"H. The main compartment is actually 7.75-8" wide. (10.25" is closer to the outside width of the bag.) The removable tote size (11 x 5.25 x 7.5) is accurate; there's enough space between it and the side of the main compartment for a 5.11 single pistol case...BUT, the bag is 1" too shallow to be zipped closed without compressing the pistol case. So my only criticism of this bag is that it should be 1" deeper.

This single hand gun soft case does its job very well and better that any other I have had for anywhere near the price. I have been using these exclusively for several years now because I care about the weapons I have stowed in them.Well constructed (not in America unfortunately) and a great value. This does not feel like a bargain case. If you can snag a sale, its a no-brainer.

Super slim and slick case for easy storage. The carry handles are robust. Elastic straps work for double stack, single stack, and other items. The foam pad on the magazine side can be removed for an even slim storage. Also, works well as a "document" pocket for range ID's, suppressor stamps, etc...Perfect for storage, backpack carry, or to supplement with a hard case.

I bought this to transport my pistol to and from places for non-conceal carry uses. I live in California and the state law says that a pistol must be transported in a locked container. This satisfies that requirement since the zippers have a tiny loop for a luggage lock. I have a Sig Sauer 1911 with a rail, which, overall is a pretty big handgun. It fits perfectly in the case with 5 mags as well. I have found it to be pretty durable and I throw this thing around quite a bit. It has also caught it's fair share of hot shells at the range and it is totally fine. I would easily buy another one (after I buy my next pistol).

I have a lot of pistols and a small apartment, these cases are the perfect size for my current situation. I now have 12 of these to replace previous brands of unnecessary bulk.When I go to the range I can stuff 6 in my Rush24 backpack, with previous cases only 4 would fit.

I have had this case for about a week now and I love it. I was tired of the big, bulky hard cases and did not want to get one of the little pistol rug cases that hold your gun and nothing else. So, I looked at 5.11 because I absolutely love their products and own 5 or 6 already. Right now I am keeping my RIA 1911 officers style pistol in it and I plan to buy a few more to keep my other pistols in. Another great product from 5.11!

I purchased this particular pistol case for 4 reasons. 5.11's committment to quality the durability of all 5.11 products,(of which I have many) the compactness of the product and for its discretionary value. The case was specifically obtained for my wife's P238 SigSauer. It's a perfect fit for a ladies compact handgun and accessories. Thank you. I am extremely particular about the companies that get my hard earned money, I study and do my homework and 5.11 will always be at the top of my list.

I have 2 of these. I use them as range bags for all my handguns. It is wonderful to be able to fit 2 handguns (or 1 handgun plus ammo). I suppose if it had sidewalls and a bit more depth it could fit more ammo, but it is a great bag already.Where I live I have to carry a small handgun registration card with the gun at all times, and this bag lacks a small pocket to hold that. I have to keep it in the compartment with the handgun where it gets damaged, falls out, etc.

This is a great pistol case. If you are going to the shooting range; wether it's indoor or outdoor or you are taking a tactical class, this case is perfect. It's not to bulky and it can be un-zipped flat and used as a nice padded surface to clean or lay your gun down when not in use at the range to avoid scratches etc... All in all, it's a solid and case!

Bought this case specifically to to carry my iPad. Much better than so called iPad cases costing much more. Has zipper pocket for adapters and cables, and elastic for securing pen/pencil, knife etc. Got mine in Tac OD to match the OD silicone frame on the iPad. Together it is rugged, protective and looks like the whole thing was an SF issued tablet and case. Very cool. And, oh yeah, it would make a pretty good pistol case too.

As someone who goes to the range often just to fire off a few rounds and talk to the guys, this pistol case comes in extrememly handy. If you don't want to lug around the bigger,heavier range bag, you can drop almost any of your pistols in the zippered compartment and throw in some loaded mags and you're ready to go. No muss, no fuss!Highly recommended. I have 4 for my most used pistols.

Fantastic quality built case. I bought my first one of these about two years ago. It protects your handgun completely. Also has 5 stretchable slots for mags, knives or a flashlight. I own a FNH 5.7 and most gun cases aren't large enough to handle the mags. This 5.11 product is just the ticket. It's perfect for a trip to the range or tucked under the bed. I've had several other handgun cases and this is far and away the best! I ordered one, ordered 2 more and eventually ordered 6 to replace my other soft cases. Although 5.11 provides an area to mark what gun is inside, I'd prefer a strip of hook and loop to allow embroidered name tapes to be stuck on the outside. Single stack mags slide around a bit but double stacks are snug.This is a really great case, and I almost never bother to review any product.

Perfect Design! I own three of these to protect my pistols and keep little hands away from them. Easily fits a full size pistol, Sig P226, Glock 22 or two small pistols, Sig P238 and Glock 27.It would be nice to have at least one small velcro pouch instead of a loop for magazine to organize snap caps, tools, loose ammo etc...Thanks and keep the awesome products coming!

I look at my firearms as an investment. When I take them to work or the range, the manufacturers case that come with my firearms are too bulky and often don't have enough room for the magazines. They just take up way too much space.I solved my firearm transportation problems by buying several 5.11 single pistol cases. These cases keep your handgun protected from scratches, marring, and they can also be secured with a small padlock(A must if you have rugrats). Another great feature is the ability to store 6 magazines without them rattling around the case.Definitely one of my better purchases!

As a beginner shooter I was looking for a pistol case I could store gun, mags and accessories all in same case. I new I could count on 5.11. I am in EMS and am very familiar with the 5.11 line. Have yet to find anything to change on this case. They open up and lay flat for a nice soft place to put your pistol when reloading mags or just use like a gun rug. Have 5 of these so I can take my 5 favorite pistols to the range. Hopefully I will need to get more. Honestly though, these cases are quality products.

I love these cases. They hold everything that I need to go shooting. I bought several of them and keep the guns and mags in them in my safe. When I want to go shooting I grab the case, and toss it in the range bag. I don't have to put the gun and mags in seprately. I like the ability to zip the area that holds the gun closed as well. They fit almost all my guns. I have fit up to a full size 1911 in one with no problems. There is an issue with trying to fit my 6" revolver in, but I have problems with all gun cases trying to fit that in. So, I don't fault 5.11 for that.

The case is very durable and will hold everything you need for a single pistol. I carry a Kimber 3" .45 in the case with 3 back-up magazines. All the items fit fit very well in the case.

Holds any full-size hand-gun I use this case for a Glock 17 and a Sig P226 Mag pouches-Are perfect for any doublestack magazine Is very snug won't slip out And the Mag pouch will also fit a surefire flashlight very comfortably Won't slip out. (NOTE) SOME 1911 MAGS DON'T FIT AS SNUG THEY CAN SLIP OUT IF THEY ARE TOPPED OFF BECAUSE OF THE WEIGHT. But overall tremendous case!

This is a great handgun case. There is plenty of padding keeping your gun safe from scratches and dings. The interior loops hold my Glock mags very tight. The case zips open far enough to allow the case to lay flat, perfect for the range. The interior pocket that holds the had gun is very big. My glock 17 fits with plenty of room to spare. The zippers have interlocking holes allowing you to lock the case with a small padlock. This really is a great little case.

Case does it's job pretty well. Nice and compact. I'd recommend that mags be taken out from under the elastic straps after shooting, to prevent them from wearing out prematurely. The only thing I'd improve on this design is to increase the capacity to maybe carry two pistols, whilst maintaining it's slim profile. I know it's meant to hold only one, but I think there would be a market for a two pistol case, given the success of the double rifle case. Overall the design is straight forward.

Thick soft padding on both sides, snug elastic bands for magazines and a velcro pocket to hold paperwork and other material. I can actually fit my SD40 & M&P 40 together inside the zippered pocket. I highly recommend this

I bought three 5.11 tactial single pistol cases. One for a sig p220 combat, one for a sig p226 MK 25 and one for a Ed Brown kobra carry. The cases work very well for all three weapons. The magazine holders work very well with double stack magazines and good with single stack magazines. The weapons are completly separated from the magazines which is a GREAT feature.

I love these cases. I own several and use the when taking multiple handguns to the range. I would love to see 5.11 come out with a case that would hold 3 or 4 of these individual cases with room for ammo and some accessories. That would make for a nice modular range bag.

I bought this to help conceal my handgun when it's not practical or when I just have my concealed carry on my person. This bag is a great alternative. I keep a laptop style backpack with me most of the time. It doesn't look 'tactical', so it doesn't draw attention. I wanted a way to easily add the handgun and a few items such as a magazine or two, maybe a flashlight to this bag. This pouch easily slips into one of the compartments and doesn't look like a tactical bag. I can even remove it from the backpack and no one gives it a second look. It comes across more like a business organizer, not a gun bag. For what I use it for, it's almost perfect. Probably the only thing that would make it better would be a strap in the gun compartment to help keep it from sliding around, but that's a minor issue. This would also make a great range bag as well. Worth the money.

The only fault I could find is the clip holders are not tight enough to hold single stack clips securely.This has been discused in a previous review. I believe that 5.11 will find a fix or make cases just for single stack clips. How about a case to hold revolvers with long bbls and speed load pouches instead of clip staps. I plan on buying more from 5.11 am saving for the range bag.

I use both products: the Rush 24 Backpack and the Moab 6, as everyday carries. I would like for the Moab 6 to have had a better strap design like the harvest of the Rush 24, but using one strap instead of two. I feel there are one too many components to the strap of the current Rush Moab 6 pack, I find it to be distracting and the pack shifts around a lot when I'm actively moving from place to place. Just last week I mailed my Rush to be replaced because of faulty stitching between the cargo compartment and the harness system. Hopefully the bag will be replaced. Overall, I still really like the 5.11 series products.

When I started shooting about 2 years ago, I looked for gun bags or cases and range bags. What I found wasn't to my liking. I wanted a system that was convenient to carry reasonably secure from grandkiddies and easy to organize and grab when I'm headed to the range. This bag, and a range bag with range gear and extra ammo works perfect.These are so convenient to take to the range with magazines, open it up, lay it out and start shooting. No more grabbing the wrong magazines or misplacing one or more with another gun.I put a key tag on the zipper pull to identify which handgun is inside. No more searching in this range bag, or that gun case.How about a range bag with an outer pocket large enough to hold one or two of the bags?

This a good quality soft case that holds my 9 mm or .38 plus ammo. It's well padded and looks like it will hold up well. I see other potential uses as well such as protecting voice recorders, digital cameras, microphones, cell phones, and other electronic gear. For the price I think its a good buy.

as a lot of people said before, THE BEST BAG EVER !i get the asian edition in Coyote Brown, use it usually as my mobile office !it fits easily my laptop,mobile,all kinds of memory sticks and cables + knife,tools and torch and looks great !the zippers are easy to lock away too and noone thinks it is a pistol case at all :Das i got a couple, for 19.99$ what a bargain !the other one holds my 1911 as well as a H&K USP with a couple of mags and closes without any trouble ( same time of course), lightweight and still enough protection !!!ordered a couple in black now, the missus wants one too ;)
