This is a great bag for traveling. I used this for a two-week work trip and it has plenty of room for work boots, a few pairs of pants and other travel necessities.

Great bag for work, Im using it as a firefighter and it allows me to stash my mask and other stuff when off duty. While working it keeps my extra gloves, hoods, shirts, respirator and other tools and essentials organized on the truck. This replaced a smaller single compartment bag so I no longer have to hunt and search for things.

Im a frequent traveler for the DoD. After many trials with other bags, this 5.11 Rush LBD is best for 3-5 day trips. Easy fit in overhead compartment, under the seat in front and I love the backpack slings for quick grab and go. Easily fits clothes, laptop and toiletries.

Awesome functional bag! The size allows for plenty of space for my equipment/gear. The multi functionality of going from a duffle to a backpack is great, and the strap on the side lets it loop into a suitcase perfectly! Super satisfied overall

Wasn't what I was expecting. Has a soft bottom so it folds up when carrying heaver objects such as ammo. Also no dividers and only one pocket.

Unfortunately, this Duffel is ladden with way too many straps that will either irritate You or get in Your way.nIn My opinion, just too much going on & not being able to stow them away was a big negative for Me.nThe loose & odd shape make using this as a backpack fully loaded , a real crucible. That's not this duffel 's main use , I know, but this will quickly become an issue carrying any kind of weight for any considerable distance.nWas recently in Europe, using this as My HQ, along with the 3 Rush Backpacks.nRecently replaced mine with ThenAll-Haulla Duffel. Save Your $ on this, spend a little more & get Yourself an nAll-Haulla Duffel , which will truly be versatile & multifunctional.

I bought this bag because I needed a bag to carry at least 5 pairs of clothes. This bag carries way more than that and thats a big plus for me since I work for a fire department. The material of the bag is very good. Go it wet a couple of times and everything inside was still dry. The design of the bag could have been a little better with an option to be able to remove the backpack straps. But overall great bag will buy it again if I ever need another one.

I went out on a limb here buying this for my husband who is a long range shooting guru. When he opened it, the color is what immediately got our attention. The material is nice and sturdy and the stitching is nice quality for the build. I highly recommend this bag for everyone. You can use it for a range bag or even a weekend bag.

Great bag for everyday use. Easy to put things in and take things out. Built well and comfortable to wear all day. Awesome product and is the only bag I use besides my Rush LBD Xray.

Everything you need and more you don't. Great size for the gym, stash in the truck, and one for my spotting scope/tripod. Had to cut the backpack straps off of all three of mine as they are useless; these should have had QD so you could leave them at home! No pockets inside except for the lid but otherwise is the best I've found. Coordinates nicely with my other gear so I'm always on point at the range or the mall.

Very well made, sturdy material, good zippers. Not too big to carry but lots of roomnOne suggestion I would have is to reverse where the shoulder straps are. Meaning when wearing the bag like a backpack have the non zipper side pushing against your back

Awesome high quality materials, love that the entire top of the bag unzips and opens like a lid. Can pack enough clothes and other things in there for a weekend and still have some space left over. Really awesome bag and I recommend you buy a patch or 2 to slap on there as well.

I like this bag a lot my only regret is not getting the lima I can load Mike up and it's not that heavy I probably should of gotten the lima bag at least I would of gotten a work out with the lima. I know it will grow on me the longer I have it. I watched a video that mention the shoulder straps got in the way when loading gear all you have to do is lay the shoulder straps to the side along the top edge unbuckle the shoulder strap and put the buckle strap on the other side of the carry handle strap they probably had that in mind when they designed it shoulder straps are rugged enough to use I probably won't. I hope this helps some people make a decision to buy, a great bag.

Awesome bag and love the fact that there were different sizes to choose from. I definitely chose the medium size for my extended weekend trainings. Depending how well you fold your items I managed to get 3 OCP uniforms and 4 civilian outfits including hygiene. 511 hasnt failed me when it comes to durability and their zippers are made tough. This medium size duffel bag is legit the right size for the weekend. Lets not forget the OD Green is super tough!

I thought I loved everything about the bag. But after using it a couple of times on trips, the shoulder straps keep getting in the way when loading and unloading items into the bag. They are nice straps and seem heavy duty with comfort, but they are also bulky and too close to the zipper.

I have this along with thee 56L version...great design. Good padding on backpack straps, lid/flap storage was helpful and the zippers are great robust and work perfectly.

The bag size is ideal and can be used as an airline carry on. The only drawback is I wish 511 would have incorporated some bigger zippered pockets on the side(s) of the bag or interior so items could be further segregated. The overall heavy material is great.

Just the right for my needs. Great construction, numerous attachment points( great idea), can be converted from carrying bag to back pack quickly and good color selection. would be nice to have multi camo as color selection.

Perfect medium sized duffel. Rugged build, simple design. Can pack a weeks worth of civilian gear no problem. If I needed a bag to carry protective gear I would size up! I would recommend this bag!!!!

I like the size and look of this bag but it needs a few improvements. I'd lke to see 5.11 include lockable zippers on all bags/packs. When you deploy/travel, this is important for security. I'd also suggest making the backpack straps removable and stowable and have a single shoulder strap option included.

I use this for quick trips for camping, car trips, 3-5 day vacations, etc.The quality is durable, but this bag is a giant fail for one primary reason - the designers don't even put a minimal water resistant coating on the fabric before it leaves the factory. So, the other day, we were camping, took it out of the car, and set it down on the table and it started raining - focused on the tent first, I forgot about the Tactical Rush LBD Mike 40L and it rained hard for 15 minutes then clear skies. My 5.11 Striker Pants were almost bone dry in 5 minutes, didn't soak up any rain. This bag - completely soaked along with my items inside. Thanks for that.... Would it kill you to spend an extra $1.50 coating it with scotchguard or some other water resistant spray to "slightly" protect it from rain and moisture so that it doesn't turn into a sponge? Looks like the designers spent more time on the product name, than on the design. A few more pockets inside would also go a long way in making this bag more functional.Fail

I was in the market for a small duffel that could withstand rough treatment and knocking around. I tried several other, cheaper bags. they never held up. The zippers were usually the weak point. No such problem with this bag. The zippers are very robust. Fabric is very durable. Well worth the money, although I was a little miffed that it went on sell for 20% off a week after I purchased it.
